Dailyparrot: I think you were the guy asking why your bolt map always shows your car upside down.
The reason is this, you will have to click on "navigate" in order to set the map to direct you like Google maps.
Next time when you want to use the Bolt map to get to the riders destination, just tap the navigate option on the screen.
NOTA BENE: Once you tap that navigate, you will need to click on the gear icon (three dotted lines) and click on "change" at the map option to be able to use the Google map going forward. Yeah, someone here already showed me how to go about it. Ever since then, I've been using the G-map for everything. I can't use the bolt inbuilt map even if dem teach me. Much respect, boss. |

dlex21: I no work today.
I say make i rest after two days
But two things I've noticed after 2 days is
1. women order rides more than men.
2. The number of hours you work won't determine the amount of money you'll make. Boss, get on the road today. Today na Saturday, everywhere go red. Your number 1 observation, you're right. I also noticed that. I think it's because majority of men can go through the stress of danfo, but the women with their posh nature, they will prefer comfort than going the men's say. |

Abdul111: dneit's the one they call end of discussion. a friend wants to buy it for bolt business but i've never seen anyone using it for bolt Can this particular one even handle the e-hailing? I'm talking based on the bad roads in this Lagos, mainland especially. You will enter some roads like this, you will be wishing you can come down from the car and carry it on your head to leave the vicinity. Lagos roads are bad, abeg. Forget about the ones you're seeing smoothly, e-hailing go take you to the real roads in Lagos that you'll almost cry for your car. Oga o. |

mainaugustine: Good morning bossess, just want to share my few days experience of driving with bolt.. 1. My leg is paining me especially my right leg 2. I missed my 25000 bonus 3. Police problem 4. Google map and bolt map sometimes dey misbehave 5. Temptation to spend 6. Transfer I no see 7. Sleep I miss 8. My body is stressed 9. Long journey no rider to bring back so fuel waisting(inside inside ikorodu they Sha paid me 10k) 10. My leg is still paining 11. I just started and my rating is 83%..you talk or you talk who go rate you bad go still rate you 12. Not familiar with Lagos road so I don do mistake many times 13. I never get any offline since 14. My motor don hear am 15. That's all for now.... Thank you I) I suppose laugh to this but hell NO! I won't. I will only encourage you as I be new pilot as well. iI) For your leg pains, it's normal cos you're new to it. It's just like hitting the gym for the first time, you will have body pains the following day, but if you continue, you won't feel the pains anymore cos your body is now used to it. iii) The one I no like na the 25k bonus you missed. It's just 40 trips within 7 days. This is very painful. Definitely a wasted effort, stress and time. This really pain me die. iv) You should try and always update your G-map. Using G-map to drive requires study and understanding. You must study and understand how to use the map to destination. Since I started driving, I don't miss checking my G-map update on Google play store every 2 days. You see that bolt inbuilt map, abeg no go near am ooh me self up till today, I no understand how to use it to destination. Wallah, I salute all the drivers that use it to destination, I dey always wonder how dem dey use it, how do dey even know how to use it. Lol v) For you to be missing sleep, probably you're not organized. We wey dey fast self, we dey sleep, wake up, do necessary things and hit the road when ready. You probably just jumped into the driving without any plan, organization and schedule. All in all, I was able to quickly understand and adapt to the e-hailing driving because I've learned a lot from here before I got a car. This thread has really helped me a lot. |

How can bolt be giving person pikin a trip that the rider is far away that you'll have to drive 12-15 mins to the rider's PUP Like that's not enough - you accepted the order, started driving to rider's point and when are almost there, the rider go just cancel straight. After wasting fuel and airtime, cos I always call these people myself. Again, like that's not enough - drivers scores still suffer am and drop. Why FGS? Bolt, Why? |

Felicity0001: No worry with time you'll understand better.
For the now you're dping well. Keep it up.
Remember, in all you do be civil in your partnership with your car partner, take loyalty out of the deal... It doesn't pay and won't pay you.
Everybody is a predator Don't be the prey but play your part well with conscience.
Among all my partners not a single one can look at me in the face today and talk to me anyhow why because I played my part wisely, diligently and consciously without any form of bias, sentiment or wrong records. I can call any of them that I'm coming to their house for dinner and their wives will welcome me with a smile but non of them can have the moral to call me for assistance.
The last one, tried to makeup with me by giving his car to me to sell... I told h8m straight the amount on it was too much let him sort himself. We still chat once once till date.
Riders your best bet because they're tue one you'll get your money from. Some good one will save your contact while others are just an eye glance never to see them again for the rest of your life.
The app companies are only their to use you as a tool to get their money. I don't go on every trip I accept... Some I convert depending on mood and rider's conversation and time. Use your head. I no come Lagos to come count bridges neither did i come to be loyal to anyone.
Everyone is a predator Don't be the prey at all times. Words on marble. Half of what you said here na lesson while the rest na pure advice and sense builder. All points noted, sir. And I salute your experience here. Much respect, boss. |

YeyeGbami: Quick one guys.
These scammers won’t stop at anything.
I was around my area when this driver came to ask the sales girl at the shop about one guy who came in and out of the place. The girl said she can’t remember any man.
Out of curiosity i asked the guy what happened, he said a guy approached him to do offline from Ajao estate to isolo to go carry about 15 packs of cway bottled water.
They agreed on a price, on getting to the said place the rider told the driver they don’t have the required amount of water he plans to buy. and he needs to call his madam, guess what the weyrey no get call card.
Naso driver give the rider his phone, he said he was monitoring the rider and he went towards the shop he wants to buy water. He sat in his car watching. Not knowing that shop leads to another compound.
He said he waited and the guy didn’t show up, naso he approach the shop. The woman selling water said the guy said he wants to use POS. Naso the guy carry phone waka.
Trust nobody. E pain me for the guy. Bros if you dey read this, sorry again. |

Felicity0001: Let him just report with "rider paid less" or rider didn't pay" at all no time. That rider is a thief and should be shown the hoodlum manner. Bolt will knack him half thw amount which will reduce his commission. Simple Boss I think I will let that go jare. I've learned my lesson and you guys have told me next time to not be looking rider's price on their phones if they show me. Much respect, boss. |
