Next time if the trip is important to you keep updating the rider of your location. People don't like waiting without updated assurance.
Okay, sir.
But all the trips I've done so far, there was no one that I didn't give calls to update. I fit call like 3 times before I get to your point.
Much respect, boss.

Please what's the solution to this situation?;
When I'm about to finish a trip, new request go just come in all of a sudden. It won't even allow me to collect my money and confirm payment for the active rider in my car.
Abeg what's the solution?
My acceptance rate don drop because of this since day before yesterday. embarassed

Bolt commission is 25.24%

Bolt done they mad .

You go see big earning for dashboard but doesn’t translate to your account especially when they are majorly card trips.

2.4ltr engine car is not the best for the job because it will also take 25% of your earning without surge.

Where is the surge nowadays? If you won change location where surge they na then you go see the thing clear off!

To all Brothers fasting.
Keep it simple when taking sahur
Rest enough before hitting the road
Wear your nose mask to keep warm while driving. If you get cold then guess you end up losing hydration when you pee regularly
Drink slips of water after iftar.
If you get tried, Rest.
As for me there is no different between fasting days and non fasting days because it only a good day keeps be going
Stay focus on your goal.
Dont let tiredness take over you.

@the bold, undeniably true, cos I am also a user of the 2.4L, though I'm new to the e-hailing. Na why I dey envy Corolla goons be that, the wide appraisals of fuel economy of Corolla self go make person envy the users.

I was driving from oshodi going to Maryland, na so a request came in and called rider immediately that I was on my way, had to take the right turning to Anthony village to like to oshodi terminal where the rider was probably waiting, e remain small make I reach there, na so rider cancelled the request, I was like ahhhhh. Which kind wahala be this?
I just drove straight ahead without waiting, mehn the thing pained me.

Nah boss, remove the phrase "wrong time", you are already building excuse in your mind in case. Just give your best shot, here is what I have been clamouring, we learn on this hustle and I can understand the fast might make it a bit complex. Regardless, most drivers don't get to eat till 4 or 6pm, as long as you are driving and everything is going fine, food may be the last thing on your mind.
Thank you, bossman. All noted.

Boss if rain is failing there, park somewhere and let the situation ease. Driving inside the rain is very dangerous, the outcome is not that nice.

Drivers on Indriver can so act like hungry peeps... rain is falling and they can't even take advantage, still struggling for trips.
Boss, I was already out of the traffic to another location.
@the bold, The way una dey tag indriver pilots ehn, be like say na another set of breed dey drive there. grin
Sure, driving inside rain risky, I managed a moderate motion all through.

This sh*t happened to me sometime last week. The rider asked that I should end the trip so she could take bike to her destination. We were going to Festac.

I stayed in that traffic from 2pm to 6pm. I had to turn off my app because there was no need leaving it on.

Just pray you get out of the traffic soon.
At the bolded, you mean 4 good hours in that traffic? lipsrsealed
Similar excuse my rider gave, that she would be late to the meeting she was going, she alighted my car to take a bike to her destination. I gat no choice cos I no fit hold her at all and no penalty for that on bolt, I think.

No follow who know road for this one oohgrin you still be small baby ooh make your hand no go get burnt o abeggrin

Shey na Corolla you finally get or Camry?

Best time for all Muslim faithful to drive this period is morning till 12noon when the sun is getting hot... Since you guys are allowed to eat early in the morning eat well, do you prayer then hit tye road. 12noon find a mosque to pray then remain there till 4pm where you do you other prayers as well.

After your 4pm prayers hit the road again till 6pm then break your fast with fruits and vegetables

Do your prayers and hit thw road again till say 8pmnor 9pm or 10pm then go home do your night prayers again and go to bed.

Do this mondays6, Wednesday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Expect the first week of this ritual to be difficult because your body will try to adjust but the 2nd and proceeding weeks will be a piece of cake, fanta and galagrin

May Allah grant you all the strength.

Pls this hint is mainly for those on rental. All car owners should park their cars at homegrin make small surge dey for we wey no dey fast abegD

1) Na Camry I got oh. sad
Don't know why Corolla never mentioned to me for rental, it's either Camry or other. I don't know wetin I do for Corolla people. angry

2) na 7pm we dey break, but seems I'm adapting small small, I can feel it. Yesterday shake me well maybe na because it was my first day. I go still follow your timing tricks. cool
But what happens to TUESDAY & THURSDAY?

3) Oh, well. Gala and soft drink awaits me. cheesy

No that is not the feature.
It will show you real-time traffic while waiting for request just like Google map. You will see the red and green lines just like Gmap.
Turning it off means no green and red lines on your app while waiting for a request.

I'd advised you return that car the focus in spirituality to come back after the fasting period.

No go jam person oh nobody go hear say na fasting u dey ooh.

Besides, business is usually slow these period.

You have to learn to combine both....Bolt map is best for Pick Up,”, especially street to street” Google map might send you the wrong way or longer way for PU... hope you have a good phone with a large RAM if not Google map fit lost you when e Dey find signal,,, happened to me when I just started and was using one techno like that especially while going to the island , I will miss the TBS drop due to slow signal
Yeah, I agree to the fact that the bolt app is best for PU - it is direct 100%.
But when driving to rider's destination, na where I dey confused be that, I dey drive forward, my car icon dey drive backwards on the app line, I was confused.
Thank God my rider a woman (and 4 school kids in the back seats) knew the route to her destination.
I will definitely prefer using G-map for rider's destination trip.

You can actually change your default map on bolt app to Gmap, you can do same on uber app.
Can't access my apps ATM but ask people in the house to guide you how.

Please, dont be shy to ask people around when you're confused a road is one way or not. Make it a habit to ask your riders if they prefer Gmap or they are ready to guide you on their preferred routes, many of them will opt for Gmap, but nevertheless, ask them.

Good luck

E different by far
When you're cruising you drive anyhow you want without pressure and listen to any music you want at your preferred volume. Then you're usually going to a place where you already know the people you want to go and meet and what you want to go and do so the excitement is always there.
I dey tell you, my brother. The difference is clear.

You'll get better with time. Take it one day at a time. Don't be pressurized.

Whatever you do, avoid ONE-WAY. (VI, Somolu/Yaba, Mushin, Lagos Island....etc)

Always tell your riders you are new, majority will be willing to assist you.

Target long trips, have your rider app handy so you can always check the riders destination to know two things; the possible fare and location where you are going to.

May the force of the land be with you.

Remember, you will still pay your dues to Lagos officials on the road, my prayer is that it's not a costly one.

Welcome onboard senor
Thanks for the encouragement, boss.
My fear is actually the bolded. Cos I know some old-timers self still dey pay dues, sure my time might come. grin
Appreciate your encouragement.

But I have one serious issue with the inbuilt map to rider location. How will I be driving forward and my car on the bolt map is moving backwards? sad
This really confused me, cos I expected my car icon on the map to be going froward just like when you're using the G-map. I don't think I can use the bolt inbuilt map ooh. Please make una teach me how to use it. I prefer the Google map format. Or is there a setting or bolt that will direct my car icon forward, instead of backwards?
Please make una educate me, abeg.
