I attend a diversified church. Tried a few nigerian churches and them too dress. Too serious, kept bugging me to become full time member.
Now I do a mixed church. My wife and kids dress moderately. I usually wear a polo, jean and slippers and I'm off. Most whites don't stress over church clothes.
Anytime my wife and I wear matching outfits they will be admiring us. Theres always food and bread outside which you can take home if you want. Offering is after church if you choose to.
I like my mixed church. |

BlowYourMind: The principal was suspended the very first day the matter was raised. The woman is evil looking for unnecessary publicity, what measure has she taken in house with the school board members before unnecessary outburst, she should have seek redress with the school management before going public, I even heard that the state superintendent in Deeper Life, an old man came kneeling down for her in the hospital. I guess that was what really made the commissioner so bitter against her, the woman is evil.
For those quoting me, read objectively and with open mindedness before coming to spew trash, the woman failed woefully in her parentage, how can she be the last to pick her child from school, a mother that her child have gone for 13 weeks, should be enthusiastic to have her child back home. Food › Re: How Many Percent Of Your Income Do You Allocate For Feeding In A Month? by GloShare(m): 5:33am On Dec 26, 2020 |
Pierocash: There is no particular percentage that can be used,it depends on how much you earn.
Someone earning 100k can decide to use 25% of his earning. But someone earning 1m cannot use 25%,that is too much for feeding. What of someone earning 30k ,will 25% feed him a month?
It all depends on how much you earn. One person 5% for feeding can be too much for feeding, while another person's 50% can't even feed him for a week. Which school you say you go again that year? |

Politics › Re: Are Nigerian Builders Stupid? Why Can't We Make Houses With Bricks Or Wood? by GloShare(m): 1:29am On Dec 06, 2020*. Modified: 5:36am On Dec 06, 2020 |
PharoahIII: Firstly, the costs associated with building brick walls will be too astronomical, the volume of a 9 inch CMU is nearly 17 times that of a standard brick, which means that it would take 17 times more bricks to build a house than blocks. Now don't forget that walls made of bricks are almost always double-skinned, that is 2 layers of wall joined with mortar. So that means more and more and more mortar. Also the labour costs will be too high, imagine how much bricklayers will charge for laying 17 times more bricks! Not forgetting transportation costs of getting the bricks to the site, as more trips would be required. Thirdly clay bricks are expensive to make, well in Nigeria at least due to the epileptic power supply, as the clay will have to be baked in a kiln for days. Granted there are other alternative energy sources but that's topic for another day. Also in a tropical climate as yours using brick walls will be too hot as brick walls do appear to hold heat better than concrete blocks. As for wood, well all I can say is that the wood used abroad are 'engineered' to give it maximum strength. Do in conclusion Nigerian builders are not stupid You're right on your cost analysis, but two things you didn't get right. Brick houses are cooler and not hotter. Those who have lived in mud houses will let you know better. Also, the woods used in the west are not engineered. They are sourced from oak, and oak can last forever. |

When Employers search for some skills, if you have such skill on your profile, it will definitely pop up and you would be invited. Don't underestimate the power of good CV and profile on LinkedIn. It is not really good for fresh graduates without experience except the person is looking for internships. Just you out of how many millions of other nigerians?
