The Governor has the right to defend his territories. What is treason? It is the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill or overthrow the sovereign or government. In this presence situation, the governor is still loyal to the party but disagree constitutionally by law on the issue of spending the old notes pari passu with the new notes, the governor is constitutionally right to speak against the present government as regards the naira notes swap policy. |
Transfer to another bank has been difficult, I don't know why |
We are waiting for your next briefing Sir. |
Chidibe212:The two are needed, you vote and you pray so that they will not manipulate your vote and give it to the wrong candidate or declare your vote invalid. Prayers are needed more than at any other time. You vote and you pray. Faith and works. |
Rock of ages cleft for me Let me hide myself in thee All the way my Jesus leads me Let all the world in every corner sing My God and King. Awake in him his strength renew That battle cry raise up again All enemies must be consumed For Christ the Lord shall reign Oh Jesus I have promised To serve you till the end Oh God of heaven earth and sea To thee all praise and glory be How shall we show our live to thee Giver of all, Giver of all Giver of all |
Who knows the person giving advice to the President on this issue of Naira swap policy. |
The Supreme court is the Supreme Court. Can the President give an order after the election to decide the next President of Nigeria if there is an agitation from political parties on election rigging? Political parties will go to court to resolve the issue to determine the next President of Nigeria. The President cannot decide on this matter. It is only the Supreme Court. However, the President can use his power to override the Supreme court judgement and that is against the rule of law. The Supreme court is supreme. |
How many people are governing Nigeria? We are divided. United, we stand. Divided, we fall. Which way Nigeria? Oh! God! Come quickly and rescue us. Amen. |
Do they have the right? |
How long? |
This #200 Notes new directive has created problem among citizens, the 500 and 1000 notes are yet to be collected by banks and the new notes are still scarce, Nigerians are in for it. What do you want people to do in this situation where the FG, the Supreme Court and the CBN have not agreed to do what will help the ordinary man? |
We are still in the same situation, no shifting of ground, the old #200 notes are legal till April 10, while nothing was said about the expiry dates of #500 and #1000 notes. |
April 10? |
The CBN Governor is making a mole out of a molehill,(makes too much of a minor issue) there is nothing wrong in allowing both the old notes and the new notes to be spent concurrently, the old notes is still a legal tender according to the supreme court order, I don't know why the CBN Governor is insisting on February 10 or February 17 expiry date. There may be many issues that are not clear to us. Could it be to stop vote buying? How will it work? It may stop vote buying to some extent but not totally. Could it be to stop bandits exigencies? Yes! It will stop banditry. What other reasons? Who knows? Nigerians are angry and hungry, everyday, from state to state, there has been one issue or the other. We, Nigerians are appealing to the CBN Governors to sheath his sword and the Supreme court see to it that his order is strictly followed to the letter. Time is not to be toyed with. People are complaining. May God help us. Amen |
Diligence:You think that the redesigning of the naira notes will stop vote buying? I don't think so. There are many ways people can be tempted. |
CBN is not going back on this. The supreme court is not shifting. Some Nigerian people are still spending the old notes, while some are rejecting it. We don't know the stand of the President or the Federal Government. Are we not heading to crisis even when election is next week Saturday? Which way Nigeria? |
Is it a wise decision to reject the old naira notes when the new notes are yet to be fully circulated? Customers are always right and they are going to complain bitterly about this hurriedly made decision. How would they operate flawlessly when the new notes are still scarce,it means they have to rely on bank transfer which is going to be complicated by the unavailability of internet fluctuating at the moment of transfer. They will face serious challenge when they are transferring money through POS. The best option is to collect the old notes and the new notes concurrently. It is not yet February 17, they should collect the old notes. |
If the man had treated the driver well like his own son by increasing his salary, would he have killed the whole family? No! Let's take care of our workers and we should mind the kind of people we employed . |
Here in Lagos, old notes are still being spent. I am yet to see anyone rejecting the old notes. Old notes should be recirculated if the new notes are not available. |
Why must CBN subject Nigerians to hardship by giving deadline without enough new notes to be circulated Nationwide? Must we wait for the German company before the new notes can be printed? Is the printing of new notes a rocket science that cannot be done in Nigeria? Right now, the new notes are still not enough to circulate and it is so sad that some Nigerians are even rejecting the old notes. Which way Nigeria? Which way to go? May God intervene into the affairs of this Nation. Amen. |
If you want to have an idea of what some christian stand for, find time to watch the video of Pastor Femi Emmanuel on the challenges facing Nigeria. |
February 10, which is today can never be the deadline because people are still spending the old notes and it can only mean one thing for sure, the new notes are very scarce to get. CBN official website may say otherwise, the reality on ground now is that the new notes are very scarce to get. Which way Nigeria? Are we being Governed at all? What is happening to this Nation? Where are our Leaders to give us a permanent directive on this issue. The supreme court is saying one thing while the CBN is saying the opposite. FG, CBN and the Supreme court are yet to agree on the deadline. May God help us in this country. Amen. |
Is social media the Church where you paid your tithe? Social media is not the first place to go to demand for your money. |

Is Tomorrow February 10 still the deadline or not? Bloggers seemed to be confusing us. |
After February 10. |
Nairaland forum is turning to another political forum thing, how can nairalanders called this man a fool. This man is enlightening us about the analysis of protest. This man is not a fool, he is talking sense. |
Oh! I read it on Sunday Punch Newspaper. |
What a pity! Are Nigerians being ruled by a woman again? Why do we allow woman to take critical decisions when we have competent men at the villa? What a shame! May God have mercy on this country. |
This is serious oooo |
May God guide us on the right path in life. |
Something is wrong is somewhere. |
