First, if the OP is a UNIBEN student he deserves to be ported back to primary school for his terrible use of english. It is disgusting to see how cowardly today's youth are. You are expected to conquer challenges not run from them. The Guidance and Counselling Unit of the school has some work to do. You can't just sit in your office and expect stiudents to come to you. They should fashion out means of actively reaching out to the student population and encourage them to seek help. |

Everyone blaming the uncle, man that swung his arms to get him the job. How maby people in this country are lucky enough to have such a relative. Some will tell you no space in the establishmemt. Now it was the senior manager's decision to take the boy under his wings...after already being employed. If the uncle told him about the SM would he have quit the job before even starting? The uncle must have allowed him in believing he is competent enough to do his job and climb up the ranks. The uncle probably fights similar battles in the company daily based on the reaction of other staff. Bringing someone makes him liable to that person's actions. Knowing these risks he still brought his nephew in. Notwithstanding, seeing the executive director was not a wrong step considering the hellish work conditions. My advice is to communicate with your uncle. He needs to see that you are mature enough to handle important info. You have to watch his back and he your back cos from your description, he is all you got in the company bar the executive director. Do your job to maximum efficiency and mind your business. Surely one or two will see you not as a threat but an ally and jump on your ship. Play your cards well and you will conquer. |

...and Nigerians will be saying no job. Is this one not job? Bia OP when are the Nigerian branches open? |
Aghahowa, martins, Nsofor, Ike Uche, Odemwingie, Macaulay Chrisantus...These are Nigerian strikers. Ighalo I know not. Technically bereft, Positionally clumpsy, Movement negligible yet Rorh thinks he should be the 9. I'd rather have musa down the middle with chukwueze and simon on either flanks. Mikel should replace Iwobi. Iwobi is a scam of a football. I bet I can play his role better than him...Nonsense |
Considering the physical and neurodevelopmental deficits the lady has, I think the judge made a difficult but late call. I suspect the lady has cerebral palsy which unlike some other forms of mental instability have no chance of cure. Many countries consider fetus viable from 22-28 weeks, although abortion is preferred at the 13th week or earlier. What is the assurance that the child will get quality care from the relatives? No child deserve to be brought to this earth to suffer. |
Stillthebest:Sorry about that. Sure you're making progress in your new endeavour. |
Stillthebest:Yea… You had a stint in Medicine? Why did you opt out? |
Stillthebest: |
Stillthebest:some people cram in the pre-clinicals, but you can't survive a day in clinical medicine by cramming. You will be smoked out and sent home. |
Won't be surprised to see Ivory coast win this. Their squad is too gallant. But I expect some shocks from underdogs too. Something like Nigeria 0-1 Burundi. Uganda to progress to next round. |
Stillthebest:Trust me, cramming does not help a medical trainee much. A minor specialty in medicine can have books with large volumes. Considering how wide medicine is, it is not a crime for a young doctor to visit his books for clarifications. Even professors still get excited when they see some cases because that might be the last time they get to see such and learn from. |
To qualify to be a doctor, you must go through the following with constant risk of being thrown out the door at any point in time: BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES - Anatomy + Gross Anatomy + Histology + Embryology - Medical Biochemistry - Medical Physiology PATHOLOGY + Medical Microbiology + Histopathology + Chemical Pathology + Haematology PHARMACOLOGY SUBSPECIALTIES - Ophthalmology - Anaeathesiology - Radiology - Dermatology SURGERY - Cardiothoraic - Orthopaedics & Plastics - Otolaryngology - Urology - Neurosurgery - General Surgery MEDICINE - Nephrology - Endocrinology - Cardiology - Gastrology - e.t.c. PAEDIATRICS (With subspecialties) OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY PSYCHIATRY PUBLIC HEALTH 1 YEAR OF HOUSEJOB YEARS OF TRAINING FOR SPECIALIZATION One could easily be eligible for a degree in each area based on the amount of details required to be learnt from each. The undergraduate programme runs for 8 sessions in some schools. If the system decides to reward doctors, then so be it. Meanwhile with all these complains, Nigerian doctors are amongst the least paid worldwide. |
The way these ones are snapping everywhere, I am beginning to reason that this is some kinda contract between two people with certain ambitions known only to them. |
Touts in connivance with police....wehdone Heavily armed policemen and political thugs numbering over 50..........Report say the thugs in their hundreds, swarm on the hotel. OP. Talk true. Were they 50 or hundreds. Who counted them? |
