It will not be like this forever, Nigeria and the whole world will be ok
Lol. God made the earth and put everything in it. Food can never be scarce except humans want it to. The system of the world is rigged to favour only a few. Reason why there is hardship every where. We have moved from an agricultural and trade-by-batter based system to that of industry and currency. In the former, the poor was poor not because he didn't have food to eat but because he didn't have an overflow or was unable to acquire more wives or cattle. In the latter, people can hardly afford to eat once daily. The central banks control the narratives and manipulate the numbers. The governments even make it illegal to trade on the natural resources that abound in our lands. They explore and amass more wealth, while giving back little or no returns to the community. The more emphasis placed on currency, the more suffering for the larger population and bounty for those in control.

Whilst you are thinking you are doing the right things health wise, negative extrinsic factors are giving you sliding tackles from behind, with high boot and studs showing. Social deviants like these deserve to be hanged once caught. It takes a lot of inhumanity to ruminate on such thoughts and actually execute them. They are in the same class as hired killers, ritualists and dare-devil robbers. If recycled back to the society, they pose worse threat than that for which they were initially caught

So even if he's the best candidate to deliver good governance, he should not have the chance because he can't speak the language. I myself find it extremely difficult to learn languages. I can imagine someone telling me that I can't win election because I can't speak my language. Their loss not mine

Family / Re: was I Wrong In Wanting To End Friendship With My Friend? by Godmademan(m): 1:12pm On Nov 23, 2023
Ginaz:
I moved into a new neighbourhood and i stay alone. Luckily I came across my childhood friend one fateful day on my way to fill up my cooking gas.

we exchanged contact, I found out we live closed to each other. she now has 6kids with her husband, the eldest child being 13yrs old.

As formal friends and now neighbours I tried to assist her with whatever little I could as they're not doing so great in financially.

I noticed whenever I enter her house, she's somewhat uneasy as she would apologized for the messy state of her house, the dirty floor , the roughness of the building which i don't even care to notice as I am not judging her.

I reduced my entrance into her house due to the fact I didnt want her to feel bad about whatever she might be thinking of her house. it was making feel uncomfortable to hear such complains too.

I usually send her kids on errands, which I give them monetary compensations. I called her on phone one day to send her second daughter to me that I wanna send her on an errand, she replied yes she would but I didn't see the daughter.

I was cooking rice, the kids came. I dished for them and I asked the daughter why she refused to come see me the day I sent for her. she told me it was her mother who told her not to come.

I was shocked ! if her mother didn't want me to send her on a errand she could have told me. I felt like I was disturbing her kids so I blocked her number and stop sending the kids message to run for me.

now she has been calling me but I've refused to answer her calls. am I wrong in wanting to end the friendship?
Perspective. The people you have to be most wary about are those who are less buoyant than you. The little things that seem harmless to you might come off as showoff or exploitative to them due to low esteem which was portrayed by the concerns about her home appearance. It's pretty much why some people try not to indulge those considered poorer even though there is pity towards them. Get engaged with something that will keep you off them physically for a while, the relationship will die naturally. A little hello once in a while is still not out of order, but watch the familiarity

But they made a serious blunder because when they joined the party, INEC had closed submission of nomination forms. But they were blind and uneducated. Disgraceful comment by Ganduje.

Since INEC had closed submission of forms, why did the same INEC accept the form from the man and his party?

This gives us more insight into the collusion of INEC with political parties, who try all they can to subvert democracy.
If his name appeared on the ballot, it means INEC endorsed his candidacy. The case should be INEC Vs APC

‘English hard o’ — Nigerians blast UEFA after misunderstanding Oshoala post
Barcelona Femeni star Asisat Oshoala

It was a sad day for English comprehension as fans attacked the UWCL handle on social media after misunderstanding a post they made about Nigerian superstar Asisat Oshoala

Fans have erroneously come to the defence of Nigerian icon Asisat Oshoala after misunderstanding a post from the official X handle of the UEFA Women’s Champions League featuring the Barcelona Femeni star.

With the group stage of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League set to kick off, the UWCL handle celebrated reigning Champions Barcelona.

They made a post noting that the Blaugrana had an incredible record of scoring in 30 of their last 31 matches, using a picture of Oshoala as the featured image on the post.

The caption on the picture of Oshoala read Barcelona have only failed to score in one of their last 31 #UWCL matches, yet it still drew negative comments from fans of the Nigerian superstar, who rained insults in the comments.

According to the complainants, they were upset that the UWCL for using the Super Falcons legend to portray a ‘negative’ stat.

Nigerians lament lack of basic understanding over Oshoala post

The lack of understanding of the simple post caused shame to other onlookers who lamented the level of education in the country while wondering how the statement could have been misconstrued by so many people.

Others lamented the display of misreading as the reason why a popular test of English remains a blight on the Nigerian populace.

Despite the misunderstanding, fans will certainly be cheering on Oshoala as she locks horns with compatriot Christy Ucheibe when Barcelona take on Benfica in their opening game of this season’s UWCL.
