Okija juju: I just purchased a 20kva Cummins gen last month for 1.6m (plus commisioning) for my main home.

Will be purchasing another 5kva by July ending for my annex home.

Save money and purchase a big diesel generator.. They last longer than fuel generators and require less servicing.

Tragedy struck on Sunday at the Trinity Spare Parts Market in the Olodi Apapa area of Ajegunle, Lagos, as no fewer than 150 shops, including their materials, were consumed by an inferno.

It was believed that the fire was caused by an electrical power surge in one of the shops at a section of the plaza some minutes after 3pm.

Our correspondent gatherred that the infreno started from a shop on the ‘B’ line of the market few minutes after the Power Holding Company of Nigeria, restored power to the shopping complex.

The Speed Well Plaza is estimated to accommodate no fewer than 200 shops, mostly spare parts traders.

A resident of the area, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “This whole incident started when PHCN restored power here around 1.00p.m.

“Not long after that, I saw a thick smoke coming from one of the shops on B line,though I didn’t know the fire was going to be this big and spread to other parts of the plaza.”

Some of the affected traders, who spoke to our correspondent amid sighing, expressed shock at the mid-Sunday fire.

They lamented the extent of the destruction, adding that for them to get back to business, the governmentr would need to assist them.

A distressed trader, Mr. Izuchukwu Agwu, said, “I am finished. As you are seeing me here, I have lost everything I have to this fire incident.

“Unless something is done, I am heading back to the village and you know what it means – suicide. I sleep in my shop and I have no other business here.”

He added, “I was lucky not to have been in there when the fire started. Who knows, I might have been burnt. Now, what else do I have? I am heading back to the village tonight.”

Policemen from Trinity Police Station with other security personnel provided security at the plaza as fire fighters from the Lagos State Fire Service and those believed to be from Julius Berger Plc battled to put out the ragging inforeno.

The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Mr. Rasak Fadipe, explained that the fire was aggravated by the inflammable materials stored in most of the shops in the spare parts market.

I want to apply to Rhine-waal university to continue my B.SC studies in International Relations. The program is conducted in English. However, I only have the following documents;

1. One-year (two semesters) university Transcript in Cyprus(All A's i.e a GPA of 4.0 out of 4.0)
2. WAEC result(6 credits including English and Maths)
3. IELTS (7.5 overall)

Do you think I can get an admission with this? or do I need still need to possess HND? I kindly anticipate your reply

My brother i will advice you to proceed with your HND..then you have higer chances of getting a admission.

Hunnydropps: I believe LDR can work. Although not as many work as close ones but then again it depends on commitment, trust, and IMO if the couple is making plans to close the distance. LDR can provide a wonderful POV concerning love and relationship maintenance. It's required to share so many heartfelt sentiments in both words and actions to compensate for lack of physical proximity.

sun_temi: If beaten by the rain caused the issue. Dipping the iPhone in rice for 48 hours will mostly solve any problem caused by the rain. I think you should try that first.

I tried that already and thats why im able to bring it back alive now its working fine but the screen is damn dark unless i put it through light...

topeajis: Check u school if they don't ask for gemany language fill free to pay.. I didn't use any german cetificate to apply and I got admissited into two schools under uni-assist.. Cos the schools didn't ask for language when. When I went to embassy they asked me if I sabi anu knowledge of german I say knw. Off cos its stated in ma admission letter I don't need it ..

Bro you went in for masters she is going for UG,she will still go through studien kolleg and thats never taught in English,You can only be taught in English when going for masters/bachelors never for Under graduate...
