Am not saying you all are broke, but theirs nothing wrong with knowing his money level, afterall if we get married even if its garri we drink, you need money to buy it. Osu are people our igbo ancestors used to do sacrifies to the gods for the difficulties they faced then, which includes disease, lack of rain, poor farm produce, children and babies dieing etc.

The gods then asked for human sacrifies to help with these issues. When a sacrifice is offered to gods it is damned evil to touch those things. Even in the bible when Abraham offer sacrifice to God, nobody eats the sacrify, it is burn to ashes.

The stigma that Osu have had today this that they were used for gods sacrifice and dimmed to the igbos as outcast.

To my understanding, most of then are very wealthy and brilliant people, their girls are very beautiful.

I myself will NEVER marry osu, not because I don't like them. It is because of the stigma the igbos has on them. For example, they do not involve in active igbo events. No one will elect an osu person as a governor, local chairmen, Eze, Chief, etc.

If an Osu people tries to speak on behalf of the igbo he/she is immediately discredited, because of this stigma. I still have great ambitions for myself and would not want something to hold me back.

If you are not igbo you can never understand. This thing will NEVER go away and I feel very sorry for them. We call it Ome na ala (The law of our land) We cannot leave ome na ala and start to do ome na elu (Not the law of the land)

When you go to village and see how these people leaves, you would feel sorry from them. They do not trade because nobody would buy from them. In school nobody plays with osu children etc, it is really terrible.

If you want to leave in diaspora all your life, them marrying osu will not really affect you. But if you plan sometime in the future to return back to Nigeria, hmmm, you really have to be very careful. Remember we do not only mary for ourselfs we marry for children as well, you do not want to give our children a bad start in life.

I am sorry I have to say this, but this is the way it is and I did not make it so. Remember that osu are human being like us too.

Yes you nee to look for a page that will say appointment is available and you could rechecked on those dates that their appointment have been taken..some might have cancel his/her appointment.

Guys you just need to understand that we are all nigerians,We can do all these simple documents sharp sharp with runz that is why they believe in afidavit.In afidavit you are already gonna swear that every information on your birth certificate is real.Infact if you doing this yourself at the court,you might be given bible or Quran to swear .If you lying about your age then that is between you and God.To me NPC is not needed try get that small old birth certificate.Either you have it before or not.This can be issue at the local government/maternity.The people there can backdate and do nice job for you once you settle them!NPC came into existence around 2001 so if your bdate is 1980 and you submitting NPC it automatically shows that ya lying Believe me there is a guy at the german embassy gate,once your documents got issue this guy is gonna forfeit your day and wont make see the embassy compound.We are all here to learn and i went through all these stages!

NO wait for your mission letter and be composed.If you miss your appointment date,I think there is a penalty for it.The embassy portal might not allow you to book another appointment for months.

I went to high court today and i was given sworn affidavit for age declaration of age. Even when i told them all i wanted was declaration of age. well i collected it cause it didn't cost me much just 250 Naira.
Reading through i was confused with number 3, (That his birth was officially registered, but the birth certificate got lost in transit and all effort to trace same proved abortive, hence this declaration of age.) knowing fully well i have my birth certificate with me.
I met another person who kept on telling me declaration of age is done by NPC i asked for a sample to see how it look but he couldnt provide any.

Our Ogas in germany which particular document did you use, can i go with my birth certificate and the sworn affidavit for age declaration. pls i need help asap this is the only document left for me to file before my interview.

You better take her to an NGO and do not get involve because your problem might start from getting a notice from her family that you should leave the house....Do not take her to the police because that is gonna cosst you money nd smhh waste of time..

Scholarship confirmation letter, invitation letter and letter of admission will get to him in few days time. Is visa appointment/interview applicable to him or he is exempted? since we heard that some pple are exempted. Anyone with idea?

Toluth: About this birth certificate thing, what if u didn't collect the certificate when u were born, and the only one u could get your hand on is the NPCs', how do u go about it?

Go to the nearest local Govt,ask for NPC office and explain to them,They will surely help you out..

I am sure we are adult,NPC is a birth cetificate that was changed around 2000s,The old birth certificate is kinda small while the NPC is like a A4 paper size kinda big.So if you were born around 1980s,1970s,1990s,the embassy is not expecting you to bring NPC rather they want to see the old one at the same time every applicants are advised to do afidavit.Like i said just go to any court around you with somewht 2k,passport photograph,your birth certificate,They will do the afidavit and you can take it to the embassy.This is very important to the embassy.Also get a receipt from the court take everything along with you on interview date,dont do fake things ooo...The court must register your afidavit because once the embassy told you to go and they will call you...German embassy have started investigating your documents just every documents they investigate starting from admission letter so let everything be real.YOU can do the age declaration (Afidavit anytime but to make you look responsible ,It should be done at least few days before your interview) make sure you do photocopies of each of your documents.
