Madam Godspikin stop being smart here. You have been asked to prove yourself. Your Facebook pictures shows you are an "unpregnant corper". With pictures posted as recently as 5 days ago.....very hard to believe for a lady who claims to be full term.

Are you trying to deny thats not you on Facebook? If you need help then i suggest you start by being honest and be ready for scrutiny because buhari has made the economy hard therefore, people want to be sure before spending their hard earned naira on dishonest and fraudulent people.

Furthermore, continuing to lie (if thats what you are doing) makes it difficult for genuine helpers to get the help they desperately need

Pls there is no connection between me and the poster.
I don't why he/she would choose a username close to mine to drag me into all this trash.
Pls quote usernames correctly pls.

Oga... Please if possible may be you can post a finished house showing us the way wiring and plumbing was done...
I will surely appreciate that... this is a very good alternatives...

Hajji M.

Thank you sir!

We have been doing surface plumbing and wiring mostly before now. We are advancing and growing. There is a machine that that can allow us make hollow bricks for the plumbing and wiring sections... Which we soon hope to get.

However in the interim.... The white space close to the edge of dis building above is a duct for plumbing pipes.

For the wiring we can do conduit if you will have the interior plastered....
How we do it... There is a cutting machine used by tilers... It can be used to cut the bricks and seal it up with mortar before plastering, the pipes would before then had been passed through concrete works...
If on the other hand client wants to maintain a red brick interior (not plastered) we can only do surface wiring but neatly done with cable trunks.

For images of such on completed buildings, we are starting a project ending of next month or early April by God's grace... I will put the pictures of everything from scratch to finish here...

This has gone beyond global warming.... We are gradually moving towards global frying....

A red-bricks building which is more thermally efficient as compared to a building built with sandcrete blocks will help reduce the effects of this extreme heat being felt these days...

I have looked into clay bricks method and tried to incorporate it into a design for a country villa, but it's wasnt practical cos it was hard to find workers with the expertise. I was going to design the exterior with conventional cement bricks and design the interior with mud bricks. After asking around for worker in the line of good old method, I was told that nobody near by can do it and it will actually cost me more to have it done. It's unfortunate cos my dad used this composition method in our family house in Magodo Lagos years back

Just saw this building with mud walls but being finished with modern materials, just wondering how much cheaper it will be to build a house when you substitute blocks with clay?

You can with HYDRAulically FORMed bricks made from laterite n very little cement.

One problem i see wt hydraform is the initial cost of the moulding machine, thats why its not very attractive for now. but on the long term, its more cost effective than sandcrete blocks.I believe any investor in hydraform blocks will make money on the long run.

You can now get this machine at a very reasonable and affordable price.

Hasn't hydra form done enough for alternative building material yet their houses are not popular yet. The need for mortar is totally eliminated and the blocks are made from laterite and cement or is there a deficiency in those buildings I don't know about?

There's also broad.com, the Chinese manufacturer of cheap and long lasting homes with zero waste on site.

Many readers of my threads are concerned about the costs of building a house in Nigeria. It is on the high side. This is largely due to the type of building materials we use to construct our houses, and the labour intensive methods we employ.

So, what is the way forward? What are the options? Do you have any idea of how to reduce construction costs in Nigeria? Which building methods/materials do you suggest and why? Please bring all the ideas here.
