Politics / Re: Channels TV Host Had To Clarify The Difference Between BVAS And IREV For Obi by Godspikin: 10:21pm On Mar 17, 2023

The question some people are asking is how then did the INEC chairman get the results he was announcing when the pictures of those results have not yet been uploaded on the portal? By call or text message?

We learn everyday

Those asking that question are simply ignorant, that's the only reason. The purpose of the results being uploaded to IREV is not so the INEC chairman can copy the results (soft copy) of the polling unit from IREV.

IREV is a new development, introduced for the sole aim of transparency and also it is expected that the members of the public can view the results (soft copy) that emanates from each polling unit from the IREV.

For the purpose of collation that result is not needed, please note that it is expected that the hard copy and soft copy are the same, what is used in collation however, is the physical results (hard copy) signed by all the agents and security personnel present.

Now this is my answer to that question, irrespective of the fact that the soft copy is available online or not, the hard copy is used to collate results from that unit and other units at the ward level, once it has been checked to see that there is no over-voting, it will only be rejected if the number of votes is higher than the record of accredited voters on the BVAS of that unit. Each BVAS is configured for a particular unit for every election.

If the results of a ward has been collated, it goes on to local government collation, to state and then to the national collation centre (for presidential election) where it will now come to the INEC chairman, at all these layers of collation there are accredited party agents who signs.

The collation process is independent of the uploading of results on IREV. That a result of a unit has not been uploaded to the IREV does not mean that it can not be collated.

So you see, that's why the INEC chairman refused to succumb to the manipulation intended by those who were staging a show that day. There's a process and these people are aware of the process.

Before IREV, that's how collation has been done and even with IREV, uploading results or failure to upload results on IREV does not hinder collation. It's in the INEC guidelines.

I hope I answered you.

It's just like a lecturer telling you he will upload soft copies of your scripts for last semester on your class website (if possible) and let's say after he marked the scripts and took snapshots he lost his phone so he failed to upload it as agreed and when you resumed you discovered you got a D, as long as he has the physical script with which you were graded it is inconsequential if you complain to the Senate that he failed you. It is the physical script that the Senate needs not the soft copy you expected him to post.

Please note, I do not support the non uploading of the results in real time because I believe it's a very beautiful development but the issue here is that this in itself is not the real issue, it's just being blown out of proportion by people who already know they lost, because duplicates of the real hard copy results were already given to them (their agents).

That's what APC has brought to Nigeria politics. Thuggery and criminality. A demonic party supported by evil people.

I told some Yoruba missroad state grabber immigrants that true Lagosians have shine their eyes and they have started queening behind their own but some fools thought otherwise. Today, thousand of true indigenes of Lagos will be voting for GRV this Saturday. Just watch all the Yorubas that hated GRV are mostly missroad, landgrabber immigrants from Osun, Ogun, Etkiti or Ondo but their time and antics is up.

Gbadebo is a true Lagosian and not an immigrants like Sanwolu. He is the most qualified to be governor of Lagos state. For long Lagosians have been sidelined to one corner and scavengers from Ogun and Other part of SW have been syphoning the resources and wealth of Lagos. The money Tinubu has stollen from Lagos no true Lagosians have made such in his or her 100yrs on earth.

The good news is that true Lagosians have the opportunity to reclaim their state back from all this immigrants rascals from SW by supporting one of their own Gbadebo of LP or continued slaving away to this rascals from neighbouring SW state. Reclaiming back your state does not make you guys less Yoruba neither those it make you guys Igbo apologies as this rascals immigrants from SW had made you believe over the years. For it is the right thing to do by reclaiming back your state and governing your state. Lagosains, it is time to begin to put on your thinking cap. For example, there are also large percentage of Igbos in Ogun state. They live happily with their Yoruba brothers. Now a quick thought, why are they not fighting them in Ogun? If truly Igbos want to take SW, why are they not bothered about them in Ogun and other SW states as they do in Lagos. Yea, your guess is correct. It's simply because they want to continue to govern your state and continue to steal from the rich resources of Lagos. They knew very well that the Igbo man always vote competent leader who understood ecomony very well and who will create an enabling environment for businesses to strive. That's the only reason they fight against the Igbos in Lagos. They see the Igbos as a threat to achieve their demonic aim which is to syphon Lagos wealth to themselves.

To the true Lagosians, you now have the power and opportunity to correct this years of stealing, intimidations and ethnic blindfolding in your land by voting your own son Gbadebo of LP as governor or continue to be govern by criminals from Ogun, Osun, and Oyo while turning your own royal father's, the Oba of Lagos to mere puppet and political and ethnic bullying, your eligible sons to govern to outcasts and your children children to touts. Don't be deceived be wise, Igbos are not your problem, Igbos have been respectful and helping to develop your state and also helping you true Lagosians reclaim back your state. The ball to reclaim back your state is now on your court.

Revolution2022:
What she told Obi was that the BIVAS accredit voters and sent to the IREV automatically.
She was also wrong and misleading obi.The BIVAS only accredit voters and doesn't send to the IREV automatically. The user of the BIVAS has to initiate the process of sending The data into the IREV when there is network coverage. If there is no network or the user did not send the accreditations manually,it won't go.
Why did INEC backup the BIVAS data into the IREV before they reconfigured the devices?
Abeg make una listen to her explanation again.

For the BIVAS to upload data automatically into the IREV portal, there has to be synchronised.Inec chairman could not do that because they have been compromised by the highest bidder.

Stop confusing people with your Aba made analysis.

Data can not be uploaded automatically, to accuse the Chairman of INEC wrongly shows your ignorance. It is the Presiding Officer that sends snapshots of the results from the BVAS to the IREV (Everything starts and ends at the polling unit level, anything beyond the polling unit is just collation of results already generated and confirmed to conform with the guidelines). Other information such as number of accredited voters stays on the BVAS and it is confirmed and cross checked with the results at the ward collation level. If over voting is discovered at this level the results of the unit is cancelled, if not it is collated and goes on to other layers of collation depending on the type of election.

It is pertinent to state, for the sake of those who still feel the INEC chairman is culpable in any of this. The INEC chairman has no control over what happens in the over 176,000 polling units. If any irregularity is discovered in any unit, it is the Presiding Officer, who must have signed an oath form (I know this cos I signed it several times) that will face the music. If our judiciary really wants to set this nation on the path to glory, so many corp members and ad hoc staff should go to jail.

The way the electoral system in Nigeria is now, rigging starts and ends at the polling unit, and it is a dangerous and risky assignment, as the process that allowed for one to go Scot free has been checked by the BVAS.

Lol. Very embarrasing. You need to watch the full interview. I used to think peter ob! is dull, but i was wrong; man is very dull. Empty is the word. We dodged a d!saster.

His followers, 90% still dont know how these things work. They have been blaming anything and everything they could lay their hands on. From BVAS, to electronic transmission to even Mahmood announcing winner by 4:30am. Forgetting that the past two Election we had in 2015,2019 were annouced in the midnight too. I think 2:30am and 3:00am.

Some are still telling me to wait for Supreme court judgement, that they are surely reclaiming their mandate. They are oblivious of the fact that the matter is not even in court yet. Their party haven't filed any petition yet with few days left to the closing date of filing petition at the tribunal for presidential election.

They are still looking for evidence up and down even inside INEC server. A party with 150k polling unit agent with their own polling unit results that can be compared with the one uploaded on INEC portal, still looking for evidence of rigging about. What evidence again?
Same people all over the internet selling the "stolen mandate" to their ignorant supporters.
Then how comes Labour party came into the conclusion that their mandate was stolen when they dont even have evidence and still looking for it? Why havent they file the petition yet? A wise supporter would have asked himself/herself that.

Very sad to see some set of people constantly and consistently display their ignorance with reckless abandon, boldness , and nonchalantly. I will rather keep clamouring for old people to continue to rule us, rather than sell my brain to a fraud masquerading as Messiah all in the name of New Nigeria and turn a dundee.

Tufiakwa !

I cringe when I see young supposedly bright minds brainwashed by the whole religious cum tribalistic propaganda sold to them.

I know some very brilliant chaps who could have beaten up their very good friends some weeks ago because of this scam of a man.

A lot of solid relationships have already been destroyed because of this dumbo.

The funny thing is they are quick to tag you with any of their emblems (tribalist and so on) once you are of a different opinion or you are trying to make them reason.

Some of them even said once a candidate does not win FCT, he can't be declared winner. Anyone who has a brain should know that if FCT is the most important state that one needs to win to be declared winner, then all I need to do as a candidate is to win FCT. Even their spokesperson said APC did not win Lagos and did not win Ask rock, for God's sake, it is a national election, you don't have to win everywhere, you win some, you lose some but you ensure you win strategic states and get significant votes in others (that's exactly what was inferred when they were told they do not have structure) but they thought it is by winning online polls.

Una go wail Taya!

This election has been the fairest and most credible since the return of democracy.
Is it perfect? NO, it isn't.
The only dent on the credibility is the fact that results were not sent to IREV in real time but even that was blown out of proportion by the opposition who already knew they lost because every record of the polling unit votes have already been released to every party that has an agent at the polling unit, so irrespective of whatever modification or alteration is uploaded, the parties already have an idea of what they scored, that's the essence of having an agent at each polling unit.

I have been participating in General elections as INEC ad hoc staff since 2011 except this year and I can say comparatively this is the only election where rigging has been reduced to the barest minimum and we should keep improving.

There surely must have been irregularities here and there, even if all of those votes are voided by the tribunal APC will still win.

Lagos Was Owned By The British For 99 Years - Rufai Oseni Shares Treaty Cession Document (Photo)

Arise TV News presenter and author, Rufai Oseni has added his voice to the recent tribal arguments amongst Lagosians over the 'ownership' of Lagos State, IGBERETV reports.

The argument got intense following the campaign of Labour Party's Lagos gubernatorial aspirant, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour whose mother is Igbo. Also, Labour Party's presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi who is from Anambra state won Lagos State in the just concluded presidential poll against former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu.

In a tweet on Wednesday, March 15, Oseni said Lagos was a British colony until it was ceded to a Lagos Monarch

He went on to state that some of the developments in the state were made by the British. He also shared a photo showing the treaty cessation document between the then British government and Oba Dosunmu.

Oseni refused to acknowledge the positions that "Lagos is no man's land," or that "it is a Yoruba land".

He wrote;

This Rufai guy is dumber than I thought.

So Dosunmu is an Ebira man abi na Igbo man. As if the whole of Nigeria was not a colony of the British before independence. One would think people like him should know better, turning history upside down for what?

Nigeria was never a single entity before the British, the British also did not meet a vacant uninhabited Lagos. Why didn't they enter the Lagos treaty with the Obi of Onitsha or with the Etsu of Nupe?
Politics / Re: What Did Buhari, Emefiele New Naira Notes & Cashless Policy Achieve? by Godspikin: 9:18am On Mar 15, 2023
lansile:
Before asking this question, I expect the writer to first enumerate the targets the what I can best describe as 'Economy Sabotage Policy' was designed to achieve:
1. Security of citizens
2. Prevention of vote buying
3. Ensure Internet Banking (Cashless Policy)

Looking at each further,

A. Security; Apparently once there is new notes, ransom can be traced to bandits, Kidnappers, IPOB, Bokoharams etc. The fact is, kidnappings have reduced but with times unless the security agents did their work well, it most likely going to return (God forbid). In otherwords, security matter is still all about our CSOs not Emefielle. Therefore, he was only going to FAIL as it's not his duty.

B. Vote Buying; Suddenly what was tagged Naira Redesign became Naira Confiscating Policy. What we have seen before and still happening is that voters can be induced through other means not necessarily with cash and so the policy was always going to FAIL because voters could as well be promised that once I won, I'm owing you 10k each as we have seen in a trending video where some women were complaining of unfullfilled promise.

C. Cashless Policy; For the Record, there is nothing like cashless policy even in advanced economy. Mulling that Idea in developing economy like ours is a joke taken too far. I personally have some issues of failed transactions and that's due to our weak internet capacity. millions of people troop to banks on daily basis for complains of failed transactions which means that Emefielle policy was destined to FAIL.

Therefore, Emefielle FAILED as CBN governor especially when you consider the above plus what has happened to naira/dollar value since when he became the CBN GOVERNOR.

But Peter Obi supported the whole idea and obidients were hailing him as the Messiah that he has been tagged.

The reality is that it is the common man, the ordinary citizens that bears the brunt of all these inefficiency and failure of the CBN governor. Most of these rich men would not directly feel the pains and suffering attached to it. Unfortunately na those people wey dey suffer am dey hail their oppressor.

Gov. Sanwo-Olu’s handling of COVID pandemic scare was excellent. His silent but solid infrastructural development is commendable. He is not a proud person. He has a friendly and functional personality, which is good for a leader. We can't afford to hand Lagos State to an opportunist just because Tinubu must be humbled. I believe Sanwo-Olu is not so daft not see that Lagosians are pushing back against some harsh policies and the excesses of Agberos. I am sure he will respond positively. Moreover, it will be simply a poor political move for Lagos to be in opposition with Tinubu as president at the centre.

If only most Obidients can reason like this. I am sorry to say you stand out...

I have never seen any one of them post anything sensible, other than following the bandwagon.

If a young person can not reason and know where to draw the line, it is so unfortunate. It's so unfortunate to see that some people would not mind voting for even a goat (if it were possible for a goat to get LP ticket, just because they are angry). To me that's absurd.

I laugh when I read some of them say, experience does not matter, even Seun said so, though one can understand that Seun is a business man and he is only driven by making profits, nothing else.

I support candidates across political parties

PDP in Akwa Ibom and Oyo. I have no candidate in Ogun and APC in Lagos.

Even the devil knows Tinubu and his APC is synonymous to lies and propaganda. One of the numerous perfect example is Donald Dukes stolen picture.

All what you have here is nothing but false information.

Peter Obi doesn't not control the SARS only the federal govt does. Dude take a chill pill and let go of your tribalism.

A northern military officer once ruled Lagos but you all never condemned him.

If I may ask the only reason you are against labour Party rulership in LAGOS is because GRV is married to an Igbo woman. Nothing else..

If that is your reason then you are a Tribalistic and Iberibelistic USU-ist.

Governor Adeleke mum is an Igbo woman but you have no problem with that it is Labour Party you have problem with because you feel it is Igbo movement. 😏

Sanwo Olu is not more Lagosian than GRV who is an indigene of Lagos State a full blooded Yoruba.

If you all don't Shun tribalism trust me one day this country is going to disintegrate. And would do so by your efforts... Quote me anywhere...

Note: Peter Obi is not an interview dodging politicians like Tinubu and his boys (e.g Sanwo Olu).

Peter Obi has answered the question several times and even on Arise TV but ignorance won't let you go dig it the truth.

Here is Peter Obi statement on Awkwuzu SARS murder

If MASSOB has done their investigation and come out to say PO ain't responsible for the killings but SARS who are you Olaniyi from the west to come out and start spewing gibberish statements about the killings.

I dare you to read those articles... Fake news peddlers. A perfect example of what you are accusing Obidients of.

You do not deserve a response with the gutter language you used but I will reply you.

In your mind, every Yoruba that is not supporting Obi must be an agbero, that shows how myopic and daft you are.

The igbos are not tribalistic at all. The results of the just concluded elections has exposed all your lies. You tag a Yoruba not supporting your Obi tribalistic, whereas here we voted for PDP, APC and LP but your clannish kinsmen who are not tribalistic, we have seen how detribalised you guys are, since everyone is tribalistic once they are not supporting Obi.

Your reference to military administrator in Lagos shows that it is a waste of time trying to educate a dunce like you, since you do not even have an understanding how military administration works, as if all those who were milad in your state were from your state. We are talking about Democracy you are talking about military administrator. Did I even say Chinedu is not from Lagos? Where in my post did I say that? If only you can read but it is obvious you can't or you have a problem with understanding.

The governor of my state has an Igbo wife, I know quite a number of people around me who married igbos, I do not have a problem with anyone marrying an Igbo woman. My position is that Chinedu can not insult the Yoruba people and suddenly now want to rule that same people he insulted, are you Chinedu or are you his lawyer, he has not denied it so why are you carrying it on your head like gala.

If Adeleke who you cited as an example also says anything disparaging about the Yorubas he will also be so treated but he obviously isn't like your Chinedu.

You are calling an interview that was aired on TV false information, as if the person that was interviewed is not a known personality in Anambra, Innocent people were killed and tagged MASSOB members, that's a fact. I know you never watched the video, even if you did you are already blinded by your tribal sentiments.

You lots were using the Endsars incident against SanwoOlu but you did not remember he is not in charge of the military then but you suddenly realised Peter Obi is not in charge of SARs now

You and I know those who are Masters in peddling false information.

Who were those who shared information that Obasanjo stopped over 1 million people from Chad who were being transported into Nigeria by 100 trucks?? Just imagine!

One million people being transported in 100 trucks, only a brainless zombie would believe such, brainless zombidients did believe and shared the information with passion.

Obidients

Who were those who shared information that the INEC chairman was in Lagos on the eve of the election and left in Bola Tinubu's private jet, a claim they attributed to Bode George who came out and said only a crazy person would believe or share such an info, even Charly boy, a grandfather was amongst those who shared it

He has been very much linked to Peter Obi, when the government set up an inquiry just like Lagos State did into his involvement, instead of Peter Obi to appear to defend himself he hurriedly got a court injunction to stop them from questioning him.

Our people have been brainwashed, the whole Obi movement is nothing but HOGWASH

Just listen to this video you will understand better, this was an interview aired on AIT even before Obi became the candidate of Labour party.

I pity Sanwo Olu sha. He did well no doubt but when he was suppose to prove himself he was busy playing God father loyalty kind of politics.

EndSARS come to mind,
the interview he was called for comes to mind,
Agberoism in Lagos comes to mind,
Tinubu also comes to mind

Vote for Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour (GRV).

Anything to make Tinubu loose his stronghold and also end agberoism in Lagos State is welcomed.

Ellu P from top to bottom... To avoid mistake.

Lagosians shun tribalism and free yourselfs from the chains of Tinubu's APC

Obi's court injunction to stop the state government from questioning him about his involvement in the SARS killings while he was governor of Anambra should also come to mind.

Everyone can see through you guys, we know your motives. You are only putting Chinedu forward to actualise your plans, you will all fail.

What is patriotic about the Obidient movement. A movement of brainwashed, illogical, religious and tribal bigots.

Honestly you didn't understand him well, neither did you read well what he said.
He never said he inherited stubbornness from his mother. Rather he said that was the opinion of the people who were sent to beg him to mellow down.
Honestly, I'm seriously disappointed with the Yorubas. Your elites that are supposed to advise the younger ones have kept a studied silence. This is Nigeria, it will turn against you one day. A full blooded Yoruba man of Lagos State, is been rubbished like this because him and his father, married from the South East. SEYI Tinubu, Akeredoliu and others married from the South East, I don't see how much Igbo, they have brought into Yoruba land.
Gabriel Susan of Venue State, married from Yoruba land, Emeka Anyaoku, married from Yoruba land.
Your son's and daughters, travel to UK, get employed, contest and win election, now in the 21st century, because of Tinubu, you are denying your son. Ok.
We from other parts of the country are watching and learning

He is not being denied because of his marriage. Yorubas intermarry with the igbos the most. He is being denied because he denigrated the people he now wants to lead. His disposition shows where he truly belongs.

Lies!

The man has stated why he thinks that you call him Omo-Ale and also told everybody what he wants to do if elected.

Sawo-Olu should tell Lagosians what he wants to do for Lagos and how he wants to stop the rape of IGR going on instead of resorting to this crude bigotry and trying to prevent a man from contesting election in his own state of origin.

Gbedebo Rhodes-Vivour is a true Lagosian and a true Omoluabi.

Princess Abiodun Islamiyat Oyefusi is a princess of the ancient kingdom of Ikorodu Lagos.

Both Gbedebo and Princess Abiodun Islamiyat Oyesfusi are running under LP as governorship and deputy governorship candidate respectively.

Obidients as true patriots will help this exemplary Omuluabis win the Lagos back to the indigenes and residents.

We must not allow these migrants urchins to deceive true Lagosians and patriotic residents from voting GRV and the amiable Princess running under the LP flag.

A new LAGOS is POssible, a prosperous Lagos is POssible.

He will do mre than the highlighted part of your post.

Chinedu Gbadebo is an Igbo IPOB in every inch of his body and soul
He will reduce the Yorubas to nothing in Lagos.
He will elevate Eze Ndigbo of Lagos to the same if not above Oba Akinolu of Lagos

I am not exagerating. Igbo and IPOB will completely take over Lagos.

God forbid.

That's exactly what he plans to do. Check this out.

Enemyofpeace:
1. I am their worst nightmare; a true Lagosian. The great grandson of an eminent indigenous Lagosian, Justice SB rhodes, a founding father of both the Nigerian executive and judiciary who served on the executive council of Nigeria with Adeyemo Alakija and together with similarly minded nationalists built Lagos, a credit they and their leader have been trying to steal.

2. They do not want a true Lagosian to rule lagos as no true son of Lagos would allow their unchecked rape of Lagos state resources to continue. Why do you think Funso Williams was killed?

3. I pledged to take the money (10% of Lagos state IGR) they are siphoning through Alpha beta and use it to empower 1 million poor Lagosians with interest free loans.

4. My father Barrister Olawale Rhodes-vivour a distinguished, detribalized true son of Lagos who embodies the Lagos spirit of accommodation fell in love with and married my wonderful mother Nkechi from the igbo tribe and I Gbadebo (The one who brings the crown) Chinedu (which means ‘God is leading’) Patrick(of noble origin) was born. The fact I would live up to my names and fulfill my destiny to bring back the crown they have stolen scares them.

5. They are scared that the circumstances of my birth (half yoruba half Igbo) and my family’s pedigree (Rhodes - Vivour history of unblemished public service) makes it easy for both members of the Igbo and yoruba tribes in Lagos to support, trust and see me as one of their own. My soaring acceptance and political profile as a unifier amongst the yorubas, Igbos, youths and all other tribes in Lagos state scares them so much that they’ve resorted to sponsoring hungry igbo and yoruba influencers to go on the social media space to promote an Igbo takeover agenda that does not exist and tag Lagos as a no man’s land in the hopes of linking it to me with an intent to incite my people, the yoruba against me. They are afraid I’ll take the government from them and bring it back for the benefit of the people of Lagos.

6. I refused their bribe offer of 20 billion naira to sell out my ticket and step down from the Governorship race for Sanwoolu. They can’t believe I would reject this offer to betray our cause. My refusal is why they’ve tagged me otherwise that I inherited the stubbornness from my mother’s side.

7. I supported and coordinated the campaign of Mr Peter Obi the most competent presidential candidate over a questionable candidate from my tribe.

8. I have the evidence and I am insisting on going to court with Mr Peter Obi to prove that the presidential election results figures in Lagos was tampered with and rigged and he Peter Obi won Lagos overwhelmingly with 936,000 votes against their leader’s paltry 155,000 votes which is not up to 25% of the total votes cast in Lagos and despite all their entreaties and the people they’ve sent to beg me using parapoism, I refused to back down.

9. I have a plan to rehabilitate the Agberos and thugs they only use for their dirty work and reintegrate them back into the society as responsible people.

10. I promised to fix the bad roads in all parts of Lagos, from Ikotun, Ijegun, satellite town, Lagos - badagry expressway and ikorodu to sagamu express way irrespective of the predominant tribe living there in order to boost international trade in Lagos.

11. I pledged to provide affordable housing to all Lagosians and stop the racket that goes on with Government built homes.

12. I am the biggest threat to their succession plan which will see Seyi Tinubu become governor after Sanwoolu.

You guys like to sensationalise issues. No one is calling GRV omo ale because of his marriage to an Igbo woman or because his mother is Igbo.

He is being called an Omo Ale because of his utterances and disposition towards Yorubas in the past which is evident in his posts before he vied for office, which he has not denied.

Out of all the major tribes it is Yorubas that intermarry with the Igbos the most. The governor of my state married an Igbo, no one has ever called him an Omo Ale, the Deji of Akure has an Igbo wife.

In Yoruba land, the word bastard is not reserved solely for illegitimate children born out of wedlock. It's also a word used to describe anyone who brings shame to his father or family, denigrates his people or behave in a manner that is short of how an Omoluabi should behave.

No true Yoruba son or daughter will refer to another as Afonja, because it is a slur word used by igbos to insult the Yorubas.

Except he denies those post of his in the past, he is nothing but an Omo Ale, Omo Ale t'oun fi owo osi juwe Ile baba re. Omo Ale jatijati!

See what GRV intends to do with Lagos obas in the link below, Let's not be foolish. This guy might be Yoruba based on his father's lineage. There is nothing Yoruba in his conduct and utterances.

That people followed Obi does not mean that all those hiding under this bandwagon movement have good intentions, GRV inclusive. Yorubas are known to be reasonable.

The main thing is to have leaders who actually listen to what we need. The actual running of the state govt is done by the Lagos civil service.

Are you trying to say experience doesn't matter?

I have been weighing my words carefully but people, I am a proud yoruba man, who comes from a family of indigenous Lagosians , and we can trace our history for 100s of years, and yes my mother is igbo, and I take no shame at all in that part of my heritage, my parents have been happily married for over 40 years. We have many great Nigerians of mixed heritage, the current governor of osun state also has an igbo mother and his yoruba heritage isn't called into question. I love being Yoruba.

There is no igbo takeover going on in Lagos, and it's a dangerous and unfair thing to insinuate, LP won lagos convincingly during the presidential elections, and all people of all tribes voted for LP , even winning apc strongholds like alimosho cause we all recognized the need for a better Nigeria, some powers that be know this and think the smartest way to hide their failures is to then make it tribal split, instead of focusing on policy and how the government can work to make the lives better of all Lagosians.

Now to explain my heart, I will admit sometimes some of my words look bad without a larger picture but I know my heart, the problem of making nigeria work for all Nigerians has been in my heart from time, Nigeria as is , is not working for the vast majority of people be it tribe, social class or religion
https://thehopefulnigerian./2016/07/26/how-can-multi-ethnic-tension-be-managed-in-multi-ethnic-societies-like-nigeria/ here's a 2016 blog I wrote about it

I said it on multiple times on different platforms , that the detention and demonization of Sunday Adeyemo wasn't right and the government needs to address what led to him rallying our people to defend themselves, that while he isn't perfect his actions were a response to a bigger problem.

1. What exactly did you mean when you used the despicable word Afonja

2. What were you trying to say when you commented "Classic Yoruba behaviour" on a post about baba Adeboye?

I just watched this video and I am forever grateful I never believed in or joined the Obidient movement. My head has been spinning since over 10 minutes ago.
I have sincere questions? Where is CSP James Nwafor? How come Peter Obi wasn't compelled to face the Judicial Panel of Enquiry on Police Brutality in Anambra State. From today, I will never see Obidients in the same light anymore. If Anambarians knew the amount of atrocities committed against innocent people while PO was Governor but chose to still support him because of tribalism, then they are worse than the devil. I can't believe what I just watched.

It was reported James Nwafor sneaked out of the country due to the heat of the Endsars incident.

Most Anambra people know these things, they are only silent because they believe with Obi they have a chance, but they are always quick to use the tribal bigots card the moment you aren't supporting Obi.

That's why I pity most of those following this bandwagon movement without asking questions or at least overlooking critical things. Most of them focused on religion, Muslim-Muslim ticket as if once a Christian is President or once Vice president it automatically translates to development.

For me I don't care if it is a Babalawo that has solutions to Nigeria's problem, I will vote for him. Even if Mimiko, the former governor of my state comes out tomorrow and there is another Muslim or Babalawo on the ballot who has shown capacity in the past, who has track record of performance, I will vote the Babalawo in.

I love Oyo state people because of their ideology. They are not sentimental with any party. They elect those who are capable of governing them.Imagine their choice,APC for president and PDP for governorship.

That's how it should be. We aren't zombies who follow party even if the party is presenting a dunce.

Every candidate must be assessed, see the way those zombies were attacking Aisha Yesufu on her opinion about Enugu State. I don't blame them though neither do I pity her cos she also supported a mediocre Chinedu against a performer like SanwoOlu. So she has no reason to complain.
