Hi guys, I had created the above thread in 2014 with the hope of steering up intellectual discuss among medical students and medical professionals. Unfortunately the thread disappeared so I had to create a new one.

Fortunately I was able to see some snapshots of the previous thread courtesy of web.archive.org. So I will post some of the snapshots here and hope that we continue from there.

I got back from work, went to the bathroom and when I came out, I saw my son entering a room. He was calling her name and entered. I've been suspecting something like this so I used the opportunity to peep. I saw my son sitting close to her, putting his hand across her neck, this time she was giving a faint smile while putting her palms on her face. Later the boy went to her back and started squeezing her breast from behind. Mehn.. I'm sad, shocked, bad.. Everything. I called him and I pretended not to see anything, why? I know if I react, I'll severely deal with him and that won't change anything because he's been poisoned already. I feel like I've failed as a father already.

He's 7 turning to 8,the girl is 14. I seriously don't know what to do about my son, in fact I can't eat to think well. I'll be sending away the girl though but I'm sure that won't stop my son from doing things. Especially in his school. I'm afraid of anything that may happen.

First time I noticed a strange relationship between them, i called him, talked to him about not showing his pen.is to anyone, to keep himself covered and all sort, asked him questions about anyone touching him in any manner and he said no. I asked him about his friends in school.. He named 8 of dem and 2 of them are girls.

She asked why and i said there was a day I came back from work, and the way he greeted me was very strange... Normally, I relate with him as if we are age mates.. I can say my guy, how u dey na and he replies with daddy, I just gentle... Just normal guyman things but this one is totally different and no one needs to tell me he got it from the movies.. No one.

Maybe I have to take charge of bathing him

He's a very smart boy.. Very very smart and that's my fear.. And for him to be exposed to this has duely affected me.

Chinese mobile maker Oppo today unveiled its solution to the ubiquitous smartphone display notch – the “word’s first” Under-Screen Camera (USC).


The fullscreen display-enabling technology was demonstrated to the public at Shanghai’s Mobile World Congress, following a teaser earlier this month.

According to Oppo, the selfie camera is embedded under a section of the display that’s made of a highly transparent custom material with a special pixel structure, which enables light to pass through to the lens. The selfie camera is also said to be larger than other front-facing cameras, featuring a wider aperture lens in front of the sensor.

The company has already admitted that putting a camera under the screen will make it harder to match the quality of an unobstructed smartphone camera.

Change your undies twice daily.
Take your bath minimum twice daily and on each occasion, use a good soap and Sponge to wash and scrub off hidden areas and joints such as groin region.
You may wish to apply some talcum powder after drying off with a clean towel after each bath.

After like three weeks in Awka konji was killing me, Meanwhile babe is somewhere very far doing a program in her field

I went to the hospital to do some test

I did hepatitis, Liver function test, typhoid, malaria, I wanted to do HIV but I was scared I decided not to.

Two days later I went back to get the test result.

Malaria-positive
typoid-Negative
Liver function test - A little above normal(doc said no need to worry)

20th May I decided to go to Owerri to do the HIV test in case I was positive so nobody will know me. in fact I didn't use my real name when filling the HIV form.

After the long discussion the counselor will give, then it was time to Carry out the test.

My hands and feets were shaking. the counselor noticed and he said even if you have it there are ARVs for you to live healthy (I was like God just forgive me, I know I have failed)

As soon as he took my blood, I stood up wrote my number on a shot of paper and said Sir please send the result to me via sms, he was just staring at me while I left.

I left and went to a bar sitting and waiting for the result via sms

After 20mins I got a test. my heart was beating when I opened it what I saw was "Your HIV test result says you are negative, always protect yourself but remember abstinence is the best".

I was so happy but I Needed to confirm it again, so I returned back to Awka that same day.

Today being 22nd May 2019, I went to Medical Center Amaku to confirm.

I went in after every every I was confirmed negative. happiness from no where came over me.

As I was leaving I looked towards the special clinic and saw crowd of HIV positive persons waiting to get ARVs, and I was like what if I had tested positive is this how I will disgrace myself and my family.

I opened a trend previously asking if HIV persons can join the military. This is because my uncle is making sure I join the Nigeria Prison service. I would have been disgraced if I tasted positive.

I have sworn that from this day I will never have sex till I get married. cause I am planning to get married next year God willing.

So my friends try to know your status today.

You might be scared but just know that only test can confirm your status.


So when last did you check your status?

Change that notion that it is disgraceful picking up ARV medications

Seriously now, the mice hide in those very narrow crevices and spaces between the cupboards, inside the washing machine. It would be a very tedious hunt for even the best of cats, and I do not think that I can be emotionally available for any pet right now

I don't think just anyone would qualify for this job. Academic writing in science and especially medicine is very much different from the conventional academic writing, because of the use of special terminologies and its interpretations as and when appropriate.

It'd be better you limit your search to within the field.
