The current wave of infrastructure drive in rail and the coastal road projects has suddenly woken them up 😂

They thought Lagos would go down, but unfortunately, it continues to grow in leaps and bounds. In the nineties, infrastructure started collapsing in Lagos as the FG abandoned the city to concentrate fully on Abuja, and even till today, there are many abandoned FG properties in Lagos. It's obvious some people miscalculated, and now they look back with regret.

But with our current democratic structure, it's almost impossible to return Lagos as FCT, as there are so many complicated stakeholders to deal with, where will you even start from?

Both countries would suffer significantly, but in the end, US will take the biggest hit. Let's say in the short-medium term, China will lose more, but at the long run the US will be the major loser.

This is because there's almost no immediate substitute for Chinese products in any part of the world. Plus the Americans are too accustomed to a very cushy lifestyle to want to even delay any gratification.

I booked a biometric appointment at Nigeria Passport Office, London. The date I chose was given is a bank holiday. I booked it last year and realised recently that this date is a Bank holiday.

It seems they won’t be open on a bank holiday, I’ve tried to call the National Immigration service to confirm what I can do but couldn’t reach them. Also tried to reschedule online but I couldn’t.

Please does anyone have an idea of what I can do to reschedule the appointment and choose a different date?

I think you can go the next day, they should attend to you since you have a valid appointment but am surprised as one will expect such a date shouldn’t be available to select in the first place.
