It seems it's only on this thread am seeing us bashing Moses
Pls can you explain deeply why all of a sudden Moses is now a stumbling block to eagle's progress.
Abi not the same Moses of WC qualifier and Moses of Chelsea of just concluded season. no need for argument, the croatia match is just days away and God willing, we will all be witnesses but talking about moses failure for Nigeria, he failed us in the 2014 world cup for your info |

Na today you start to dey watch Victor Moses playing for Nigeria?
Who created chances out of nothing in some of the matches we won the AFCON?
Go watch the those matches first then back and let us discuss this World cup qualifiers. if the moses that played in afcon 2013 can resurrect, I will be the world's happiest person, also wish the onazi of the same 2013 can resurrect too, man this is 2018, we have different players now, perhaps we are still rating them due to past glory. Moses heart is no longer in this team, let's be truthful. You know what? the croatia match is just days away, why don't we wait till then and let's see how it goes, no need for argument cos I know you will start arguing based on past glories and not present day reality, we are all fooling ourselves if we still think moses is still our most dangerous weapon |

He's the best player in our team and he will not be benched if fit.
I saw Neymar against Croatia. He scored a goal out of nothing.
He should have passed the ball but he rather choosed to dribble which is selfishness to some here and he scored.
Victor Moses will start matches for us. and how many has victor moses scored, by the time that guy will finally fall our hand eh, you guys supporting him will be the one to finally tear him to shreds like the way onazi and joel obi has been dymystified |

OMANBALA1: Even if he is playing rubbish and not brainstorming with the team ,put him in because be is our best forward based on the fact that he scored more goals in the qualifiers. By the way, VicMo is not our most lethal striker. Dude is selfish and do not play with the team, I want see him sit on the bench so badly.
I want us to try a forward line that has Simmy, Ighalo and Nacho...These are players who can play passes and play with one another. I want team work that will lead to breakdown of defence Exactly one wonders what happened to the one touch football we played against Argentina that led to 3 goals in the second half and there was no moses or ighalo. Something is missing somewhere in that team that needs more expression |

Ola Aina is not good but he has won 2 MOTM awards and championship team of the week not once in just his first full season in the Championship and yet he is not good?

NFF technical committee tackles Rohr over World Cup list

We were not consulted, says Lawal A member of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Committee, former Super Eagles midfielder, Garba Lawal, says coach Genrot Rohr did not consult them before announcing the squad for the World Cup in Russia.
Coach Gernot Rohr on Sunday made public a 23-man squad that will prosecute the Mundial, which begin on June 14.
Speaking with The Guardian yesterday, Lawal said none of the committee members was aware of the final list before it was disclosed to the public.
“I got to know about the list on the social media like every other Nigerian. And I was surprised that the technical committee was not told about the list before it was made public.
“It seems we don’t know what we are doing. Rohr is the one that can answer Nigerians why members like Fanny Amun, Victor Ikpeba, Mutiu Adepoju were not consulted.
“At this moment, whether we say yes to Rohr’s list or not, there is nothing we can do again since the final squad has be named,” he said.
The former defensive midfielder while reacting to the complaints on the inclusion of Ogenyi Onazi, said Rohr should be the one to answer the question.
“I am particularly sad that a player like Uche Agbo, who played week in, week out for his club, Standard Liege of Belgium was not given a chance to prove his worth.
“This guy is a utility player, who as a defensive midfielder, can also operate as a defender in the middle and at both wings. Yet such talent was dropped without a look in. I still believe there are qualities in the team that can make us proud in Russia,” he stated.
http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/940834036?-21310:8643:3 when Garba Lawal becomes coach, I will see if he will consult the technical committee before releasing his list, talk is cheap, rohr is paid to do his job and should be allowed to take the credit for success and blame for failure. If 170 million nigerians are allowed to make thier own list of players, we would have 170 million different list of players. chikena |

Poor Agu. I feel for the boy the most. It was a very bad decision to drop him.
Since, Rohr wasn't confident enough to play Awaziem in the last 2 friendlies and even showed it by ignoring him for Ogu who he has converted to a CB, he should have been dropped for Agu.
The boy effort was just in vain. He's the monkey here. Yet Rohr wan use him as an object of mockery by turning him to training material and ball boy in camp.
Awaziem didn't contribute nada in the friendlies and qualifiers yet he's on the plane to Russia. Na wa ooooooo.
2018 World Cup: Ola Aina, Mikel refuse to be standby players in Super Eagles’ squad
The duo of Mikel Agu and Ola Aina have left the Super Eagles’ camp for their respective bases after they were dropped from Gernot Rohr’s final 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Rohr had given both players permission to stay and train with the team as standy players, but they turned down the option.
Mikel Agu has flown back to Turkey, where he spent last season on loan to Bursaspor from FC Porto.
Aina, who knew about his fate even before the team departed England, decided to stay behind in London, instead of following the Eagles to their training camp in Austria.
Rohr has, however, assured the duo about their future with the national team.
http://dailypost.ng/2018/06/04/2018-world-cup-ola-aina-mikel-refuse-standby-players-super-eagles-squad/amp/ that's not professional from the players, what if injuries knock off anyone from the 23 man list, won't they hop into the squad? they guys need to grow up abeg. charlesemeka85: Arsenal starlet Alex Iwobi has suggested that he is not playing in his best position for the Nigerian National Team.
The Hale End Academy product has played in a variety of roles for club and country, including left winger, right winger, left midfield, attacking midfield and center forward, but he prefers playing in the number ten role.
''For me, I have always grown up playing in number ten, not striker but close to the striker. That has always been my position growing up,'' Iwobi said to ACL Sports.
''I have learnt to adapt to a different position, I have played left midfield, I have played central midfield, I have played right midfield.
''I have played in a number of positions but my favourite position will probably be number ten.''
Leading up to the World Cup, Iwobi is one of Nigeria's most in-form offensive players, with four goals in his last seven matches for the Super Eagles.

AIG07: I think it's hi-time Rohr sits V. Moses down and let him understand the Mission of the team in Russia. Moses needs to see and put the team first ahead of any personal glory.
If Moses can assure him(ROHR) and the team to be discipline in any role given to him, I don't see a reason why he can't be played as a WB most especially a LWB(though have been against this all this while). Going forward, we need to have all hands on deck.
We can then Line-up this way. Still 3-5-2
UZOHO
EKONG(RCB)-BALOGUN(CB)-OMUERO(LCB)
EBUEHI(RWB)-NDIDI(DMF)-IWOBI(AMF)-MIKEL(CMF)-MOSES(LWB)
IHEANACHO(CF)-IGHALO(CF).
With this kind of set up, we should be able to stand our own ground against anyside. IDOWU can always deputise for both WBs.
Cc: TheGoodJoe, Kog45, Zuchyblinks, Mickael02, Joebie, Mujtahida, ChrisKels, Tbaba1234, Icon79, Mikron etc... Moses will ruin our world cup chances if we are not careful with the way we keep indulging him. If the guy is not ready to play with the team, he should sit on the bench. Keshi did it in 2014 until babatunde got injured. We all sang Joel obi praises all this while until alarm blow yesterday night. We should thank God it was a friendly. Moses is another grey area we must be cautious about. Me I have said my own o cos na so okocha dribble so tey denmark whip us 4-1, a disaster never to be forgotten.
