Take this news with a pinch of salt. Sahara Reporters is the modern day version of Observer Newspapers. |
If Pakistan no dey this list make I na ked baff. |
I watched it last night and I was very disappointed. Very distasteful to say the least. Loud boos could be heard from the audience. Shameful! Only last month, this same man was all over the place trying to justify why he should remain the Budget and planning minister after someone called him a square peg in a round hole. We understand he is well grounded in Legal matters; the president should have no qualms realigning him in that order. Can someone be gracious enough to embed the video on this thread for others to see? |
different people will see this situation from different points of view. my take: while many single guys around are still trying to find their feet (in terms of decent jobs and accommodation) and would most likely chase after undergraduates/Corps members since they believe they are less expensive and exposed (usually, recharge card and 5k goes a long way in wooing them), married men on the other hand, are more daring in their attempts to woo both working class ladies and the former category. so you find out that even with the single guys, the married men are competing with them to take away their undergraduate girlfriends since he believes he can take care of her expenses better than her 'jobless' or 'hustling' boyfriend. This also explains why the newly married men are in it too. Not cos many don't love their wives, but because they like your level of exposure and see you and their wives as peers. I've come to find out that sex for many men is like a conquest. Once you haven't laid her, she hasn't been conquered yet. Once you've laid her, you've conquered her. move on to the next prey.. @op, my advice is to be friendly and politely turn them down. No need to be hostile or sarcastic since you often have dealings with them in the course of your job. cheers, |
Arrant rubbish! Cartel ko! Cortex ni! |
please keep 'em coming @op. ![]() |
when we tell you guys that Europe isn't what it used to be, you doubt us and tell us to 'comot for road'. He least he could have done before leaving was to have a contact person to 'show him the way' and help him avoid useless mistakes. Well,we can only wish him well and pray he survives this sojourn. You can also send him Western Union. meet your friends and relatives to raise funds and wire it to him over there. Cheers, |
Freedom2016:PDP - Lamido/Peter Obi Sounds more like it... or what do you think? |
Is Jagaban now a wailer? Somebody tell me this isn't happening. I cannot believe it. |
Haba! Death penalty?! C'mon. That's abit too harsh. Sometimes I marvel at our judicial system and processes. Lucky Igbinedion is a convicted criminal after he stole Edo state blind for 8 years. In fact, he owned up to the crime so as to get a lesser sentence. He paid his fine/penalty right there in the Court and went back home same day. And here we are with these two young gentlemen. Sentenced to death by hanging. Unless of course, there's something they haven't told us. Did the supermarket manager die in the process?! |
Young03:sod off mate! |
Young03:Please who is he and what does he do? |
@op, if it looks like duck and quacks like a duck, it is a duck. In other words, stone wey eyes see no dey blind am. To be forewarned is to be fore armed. Be Guided! I have spoken. The gods are wise! |
sarrki:very myopic and senseless post. Is your friend educated? where will you put the contraction of FDIs in your analysis? How about policy somersaults by Govt.? How about militancy in the Niger-Delta and how it has affected oil production? where will you place that in your dumb analogy? how about honest business men and women who conduct their businesses in clean and genuine ways? where will you place the REMITA scam, the illegal recruitments in the CBN,FIRS & NDIC? how about budget padding? so according to you, corruption in Nigeria stopped on May 29, 2015?! You both need to get your craniums checked because I sense this isn't about illiteracy alone. There's some element of insanity involved. De-marketing your fellow citizens and your country because you want to heard by all means. dunce! |
mrvitalis:I wouldn't want join issues with you as I see from your post that you reason like a fish. You are of very low iq, hence the reason for your being dull. |
@op, I can't say this is a nice write up. I just http://nnpcgroup.com/PublicRelations/NNPCinthenews/tabid/92/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/36/NNPC-Intensifies-Exploration-Activities-in-Chad-BasinTo-Acquire-33-550-sq-km-of-3-D-seismic-data-for-processingAs-Diezani-Alison-Madueke-calls-for-strengthening-of-Efforts.aspxwant to throw a question or two to you. 1. Why is the Nigerian government pumping money into the search to discover oil in the lake Chad region in such a time as this? Especially when this administration promised diversification of the economy?! 2. What single economic policy has this administration put forward to remedy the prevailing economic climate and how well is this 'policy' going down with Nigerians? 3. When you impose a ban, what plans/policies are in place for the local production of substitute goods/raw materials? Do we just ban for banning sake? Recall OBJ banned certain items during his administration i.e. Poultry, fruit juices etc. but we know what policies were put in place to ensure that local capacity was enhanced. I await your answers. Thank you, |
Super story by Wale Adeniga Productions. One of the very many drawbacks of social media. People circulating fables. |
Season of suicide! Who will heal the land?! Nigeria is sick. God save your people! |
Nigeria's share of bizarre laws appear mild compared to those of the U.S and the United Kingdom. Just pray your enemies do not capitalize on your ignorance of these laws. |
Reading this made me laugh so hard. Whoever churned out these lies? I remember hearing a couple of them and laffing too. E.g. The picture of stacks of dollars reportedly recovered from Akwa Ibom state government house by the DSS. It was alleged tha Akpabio was warehousing dollars in one of the guest houses. And when he had an accident in Abuja, it was also reported that he faked the accident to avoid justice. Haha |
utterly senseless! my people 'emacipate yourselves from mental & religious slavery'. Africa! oh Africa! when will thou be free? |
cococandy:I get your point perfectly.no one wants a timid child and obviously if I as a parent have a certain level of education and exposure and can also afford a British International School in Nigeria, I wouldn't challenge my kids not to ask questions. You see, your income bracket (+ social circle) in Nigeria is not quite always the same as when you relocate abroad and try to sustain the family with your income from Naija (maintaining two homes). such that the kind of environment your kids will have to live in over there will really not be what you would ordinarily want. I understand that with time, things might level up, but the most important years of a child are those formative years and I want to be with them during this very vital growing up years. As stated earlier, this isn't an argument but purely a matter of choice. The choices we make today, we'll have to live with tomorrow and the rest of our lives. Cheers, |
Been following this thread. Interesting and nice contributions. But I just want to add that for some African parents, raising kids in an American environment (with a different moral standard) than ours is a tough one. For some of us, this is a major factor considering the fact that kids are very impressionable these days and have a greater sense of their society than we did in our days. I would rather pay for an American or British school in Nigeria (if I can afford it) until the child is 'matured' enough for further studies abroad and has firmly taken to his African roots. The example of some kids I know have not been encouraging at all. A few parents have hinted at sending them home to live for a while with an Uncle or a Grandma before they enter college. For me, the most important factor is for my kids not to get lost in the crowd. |
He actually did something for the youths. When me remember youwin program water run away me eyes. |

he's been quiet for a while and I thought to myself 'Oh! this man must have grown and realised he's been inconsistent with the thinking of the people' especially after the backlash of the 'egungu' episode. But alas! A leopard can NEVER change his skin. I give up! |
good to have you advertise your work here. my personal opinion: please put some creative designs into your work. i noticed your sofa patterns are almost all the same. you could visit some furniture sites to get ideas. People are looking to conserve space these days in their homes. Also learn to use colours to enhance the beauty of your work Happy selling & cheers http://www.homedepot.com/b/Decor-Furniture-Living-Room-Furniture-Sofas-Loveseats-Sectionals/N-5yc1vZc7oy/Ntk-SemanticSearch/Ntt-sofa?NCNI-5&isSearch=true&Nao=24 |
