What country are these sizes for? Correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't think a size 12 is the same for all countries just like shoe sizes vary. For which country is this size. Very valuable information by the way. Thumbs up.

I'm also interested in knowing too. Craved for it and consumed it almost the entire duration of my 1st pregnancy. No complications and a healthy baby who turned 6yrs last month. I'm really curious. With my 3rd baby, I drank it once while nursing. I breastfed him few hours after consuming it. He cried endlessly shortly after sucking. He couldn't sleep at night-he was obviously feeling a lot of discomfort. I couldn't help but attribute it to the zobo which was the only 'new' thing I consumed since I put to bed. I hadn't taken it during his pregnancy either.

Hello mamas in the house. Been following this tread with keen interest for about 3 weeks now and this would be my 2nd time I guess of commenting here. I've learnt a whole lot despite the fact that this is my fourth pregnancy. 15 weeks gone now #team December. Can't wait lol.

Please does anyone know a shop or shops where I can buy baby stuff around Agege at very affordable prices. The pelvic pain that has gripped me now prevents me from moving around with ease and I can't go through the trouble of going all the way to Lagos to shop. Thanks in advance. It is still possible to register now but you need to act fast. Most of the lecturers are rounding up(depending on d centre anyway. We're almost through with lectures in mine). Zonal test comes up on the 27th of June and 4th of July. Exams start on the 31st of July. We are taking 12 courses in all for 1st semester. U may have to pay 5k or so for late registration. Just go to the nearest NTI centre to you ASAP to get full details. Time is running out.

Yes, some do. My husband, my son and my sister-in-law are allergic to nuts and nut products- groundnut,peanuts,groundnut oil,etc. Any intake no matter how small leads to eye discomfort and skin rashes in less than 24 hours of consumption.

Have you considered the fact that it could have been a gift to her? Or the replica which is a far cheaper version. Her husband hadn't even started his reign when she acquired it, so it's definitely not Nigerians' money. She had a source of income before she became the first lady,so let's give her the benefit of doubt.

@ Alemo50 God bless you for this info. This is my 4th pregnancy and I'm 13weeks gone with twins had light bleeding intermittently between the 6th and 8th week. Did a scan in the 7th week and the doctor said all was well. It was a 2D scan though. I feel i'll get better assurance if I do the 4D.

Been also having serious pelvic pains since the 5th week. Experienced it in my 2nd pregnancy from the 7th month(the doctor's said the baby's weight was putting pressure on the pelvic area. The pain stopped few weeks after delivery upon taking cataflam as recommended by a doctor) and 3rd pregnancy from the 6th week up till 6months after delivery when I was forced to wean my baby to enable me take drugs and anti-inflamatory injections to relieve the pain which had spread to all the joints in my body.
Some tests and x-rays were carried out and the doctor said he detected early symptoms of rheumatic arthritis(but didn't diagnose rheumatic arthritis itself). All along,in the course of research,i had suspected symphysis pubis disorder.

The pain is back and at just 13weeks I limp around like some1 who is in labour. The doctor where I registered for antenatal says it's normal and I have to endure the pain until after delivery. Besides drugs,is there any way this pain can be managed? Please advice. Sorry for the long epistle. Also pls tell, at what stage of the pregnancy can I go for the 4D ultrasound/Doppler?

If you typically sleep on your back, it's safe to continue doing so through the first trimester. But as your uterus gets heavier around mid-pregnancy, it's best to choose another position.

When you lie on your back, the weight of your uterus presses on the major vein that returns blood from your lower body to your heart. Lying on your back for an extended period of time could make you feel dizzy. It could also interfere with the flow of blood and nutrients to the placenta and your developing baby.

This is particularly a problem if you have a condition like high blood pressure or diabetes that affects how much oxygen and nutrients the baby is getting.

Try to train yourself to sleep on your side or sitting propped up. If you sleep on your side, put a pillow behind your back or in front of your chest so that you can lean back or forward. A pillow between your legs can also help make side sleeping more comfortable.

Don't be alarmed if you go to sleep on your side and wake up flat on your back. It happens all the time and shouldn't have any serious adverse effect on your baby's health. Just shift your position and go back to sleep.

OP, what is Omugwo?

When a woman puts to bed, she is usually too weak and overwhelmed to properly take care of herself,the new baby and her family. She would need ample time to rest from all the rigours of pregnancy and labour and for her body to heal. This is where the need for a very experienced hand comes in. In most tribes(the igbos for sure), it is the woman's mother that is expected to come for 'Omugwo' which has to do with taking proper care of the new mother and baby.

In some other tribes(like Yoruba for example), it is the woman's mother in law that has the responsibility to come and do it. A lot of new mothers would rather have their own mum do it. In some cases, especially inter tribal marriages, both the mother and mother in law come one after another has stayed for a particular period.

Some mothers go as far as doing almost everything for the woman who has just put to bed-from bathing the new mum,bathing the baby and general care of the baby, doing the cooking in the home to ensuring the house is kept tidy. Some limit their care to the baby alone. Some stay for as long as 3months or more, others stay for 2 weeks. It all depends on how much time the new grandmum has to spare,if she had to take leave from work to come over(cause some are still working),or if she had to leave a husband and kids behind to come. The more the responsibility the older woman left behind,most likely the shorter her stay

After this period of taking care of mother and baby,the couple are expected to buy Mama gifts as she is leaving. It's more like an expression of gratitude for all she has done. What they buy or give her varies from tribe to tribe, Mama's taste and also the budget of the couple.

My thoughts exactly. No law says bridal train is compulsory. I didn't have any during my wedding. Not because I didn't have friends anyway. But the really close friends I would have loved to use were still in university(in different parts of the country) and only one or two make it down. I also didn't want to use people I wasn't close to and didn't want to postpone the wedding to when they all would have been available. So I made do with my sister as my maid-of-honour and a Page boy and little bride in addition to the best man. The wedding went well.

She's a little girl,yes. But that shouldn't be an excuse to overlook her comment. She was extremely rude. She should stay off such social media until she's mature enough to know how to use it. Being gay is abnormal and should never be encouraged. In as much as i'm strongly against this act, I believe Nigerians should not take the law into their own hands.
