Mamaput, you have to note the context in which she made that statement. That way, you wouldn't have to get yourself worked up over nothing.

You two will stop at nothing to increase your post counts. I wonder what pride is in that. Even my own 5000+ post count makes me feel embarrassed atimes.

I actually liked it then when the admin reduced my post count count to zero.

what dose this statement mean
That conclusion was to back up the post that she made. It's not meant to be applied generally.
Christianity EtcRe: Religion And Intelligence by goodguy(m): 9:29pm On May 20, 2006
Let me repost what someone said earlier:

How do people who indulge in money ritual actually get the money and how scientifically is in connected to the people they kill?

Moreso;

What scientific or rational explanations do you have for someone who dreams about been warned in a dream, and the consequences of not following the warnings, in reality, actually comes to pass?

How rational is it for someone to prophesy and the exact thing that was foretold came to pass?

How rational is it for someone to pray and that prayer eventually gets answered? Mere luck? Coincidence? Naah, I don't want to hear that.

Note: I only want to know if there's indeed a rational explanation for everything that happens in life.
Christianity EtcRe: Religion And Intelligence by goodguy(m): 9:07pm On May 20, 2006
KAG:
That's because if you think about it, there's more often than not, a "rational" explanation.
Nope. That's because YOU think there has to be, when in actual fact, there's none.

In response to the question, religion does not hinder the use of intelligence in anyway (depending on how you see or define 'religion'). As a matter of fact, if followed properly, religion helps improve the application of your intelligence. It's only quite unfortunate that most people who practise religion do not allow their minds to become open to other things, thereby making them seem unintelligent.

Mamaput, it's either you're not reading/understanding people's posts here, or you're deliberately ignoring their true meanings. Which one is it?!
BusinessRe: To Get Legitimate Credit Cards in Nigeria by goodguy(m): 3:58pm On May 20, 2006
Hey Isrealy,

Your card has probably been tampered with, not necessarily by UBA; maybe by hackers.

Take heart bro.
Christianity EtcRe: Must A Good Christian Attend Church? by goodguy(m): 10:40pm On May 19, 2006
TV01: Assembling/Fellowship/Church is never mandated to a particular place or building. Infact, God hates physical temples (but that's another thread wink )
Then I wonder why God asked Solomon to build a temple for him then, if he truely hates 'physical temples'.

SportsRe: Ronaldinho Or Okocha: Who Is More Skillful? by goodguy(op): 8:01pm On May 19, 2006
Asked where he learnt all football tricks, Ronadinho was not ashamed to tell the world that he learnt on the streets of Brazil and from watching Okocha when they were team-mates at PSG.

"I learnt most of the tricks from him, but I have improved on what he does," said Ronaldinho.

http://odili.net/news/source/2006/may/14/12.html

Known as one of the best dribblers IN THE WORLD, Okocha has played at the 1994, 1998 (where he was named in the official team of the tournament), and 2002 World Cup finals and many African Nations Cup tournaments.

Okocha is often described as the African "Maradona", as his style is similar to that of the Argentine superstar. He is a member of the FIFA 100, a list of the 125 greatest living footballers selected by Pelé in conjunction with FIFA's centenary celebrations. He has also been nominated BBC's African footballer of the year (2004 and 2005).

Jay-Jay is an excellent example of a complete African player with his great individual skills, good vision, passing and shooting.

In 2004 he released a DVD called "Superskills with Jay-Jay Okcoha" where he teaches kids at a footbal school the most difficult tricks in football, most of which he has done in games. He's known as the player who does things during a match that most people can't even imagine doing in training or even do it at all.

I agree with you 100%. cheesy
SportsRe: Ronaldinho Or Okocha: Who Is More Skillful? by goodguy(op): 7:58pm On May 18, 2006
Good ball control is not even a skill. Any professional footballer can control a ball perfectly well. Even speed no be skill. Obafemi has the speed, does that make him skillful?

What I mean by skills here is "Manipulating the ball sensibly when there seems to be no means of escape from whoever is attacking you at that moment". No one can stand Okocha in that!

Blame the one who started the thread, he said Dionho vs Okcha and dint say during Alexander the great days.
And if you had taken the time to read through all the posts before making yours, you will see that the correction has already been made.

It seems you're not reading people's posts here, or you're deliberately ignoring them. We're not talking of who's better. We're talking of who is more skillful!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Barcelona Fc Vs Arsenal Fc ( 2005/2006 Uefa Champions League Final) by goodguy(m): 11:13pm On May 17, 2006
God saved the gunners by making the ref send one man off. The score line may have been 5 - 0 sef, in favour of Barca. grin

If not for that red card they had, Arsenal may not have played as good as that. It is a well known fact that teams with one-man down usually tend to play better than their opponents.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ahmadinejad Of Iran Versus George Bush by goodguy(m): 11:05pm On May 17, 2006
Ajisafe:
You christians fight, bleed, and die on behalf of Israel; whereas, Isreal doesn't give a damn about you, christendom, or your "Jesus." Ask the Jews -- they hate the christians with a passion. The Jews never believed in the "divinity" of your man-god; they don't believe that your religion even exists. These people are only (maybe) 10 million worldwide, yet they dictate your day-to-day activities. They (Jews) hate your guts, man! Still, you run around to take bullets for them and "defend" them like zombies or goons because of some damned "revelation" in your so-called word of God. Shame on you!
This is not about Christians. It's just human, very natural. We talk based on what we see. You don't expect us to suddenly be against Isreal simply because 'they don't give a damn about us'. The fact here is that Iran does not want Isreal on the map and their president has openly declared genocide against them and we (as reasonable humans) do not see the good in that. Therefore, we do not support it, not minding the nation that is involved. Even is US was planning the same against Iran or Iraq, none of us would still support it.

Please stop being sentimental, don't attach religion to this and all shall be well.

[I'm expecting to be insulted now, as this is a usual trend grin]

I am still better than Alumnia.
It's very very easy to criticize. Didn't you see some of the nice saves he made?

People will always comment on the negative sides. They never try to bring out the good out of a situation. So bad. sad
