Kyng1: Good morning Nairalanders, I will try to make this as brief as possible.
It happened last two week's Friday, after sleeping with a prostitute, the sex laster about 49 mins and after ejaculation I saw thick red blood all over my dick, it happened that she was on her period, and hide it from me, which she denied that she thought it has completely dried off, I'm mad at myself because I didn't use a condom. "I haven't been using condom with her though, I last had sex with her about a month plus that was the evening of my marriage day, since then I haven't called or had sex with her, until I went back last two weeks Friday.
So after everything, I went home that evening and took 3 cipro tab, next day, my groin was extremely painful and the lymph nodes on my groin swelled. Two days later I developed a mild fever, accompanied by a light headache, bitter mouth and 4 day's later I had sore throat, and swollen lymph nodes on my both under jaws and front of my right ear. Until now my throat is still sore.
I have taken full pack of cipro tab and other drugs but it's not working, I did syphilis text on Saturday and it came back negative, yesterday I went for more text but the lab attendant isn't around, so I met the Dr on duty and explained everything that happened, he told me not to waste my money to conduct more tests that what I have is chicken pox and not an STD infection, I disagreed because I have previously had chicken pox about 11 years ago, although I had just one boil close to my nose back then when I contracted it.
So he gave me these drugs below, I swallowed it last night and applied the lotion, but instead of the boils to dry down, they became more fresher and ripe when I woke up this morning.
I went to another lab this morning and the Dr I met told me that it's chicken pox, he gave me drugs and injection. I'm highly hoping for it to be effective.
Please, Dr's in the house is this really chicken pox? They're all over my face, little on my head, arms, legs, stomach, beards and back. You made a terrible mistake, you are married and sleeping with a prostitute? Oh! Innocent women are at the recieving end. If you survive this, please don't go back to this lifestyle again. |

Kyng1: Boss, is it possible to trigger it to come out the very next day after the sex?
I had pains and swollen groin the next day I had a very mild fever 2 day's after, accompanied with slight headache.
The the boils start coming up next day or 2 days after the fever. I agree with you. Lymph nodes, especially the ones under the jaw respond to any strong infection that entered the body by swelling up. When they swell up, it indicates that the white blood cell is fighting a very strong infection, most specifically viral infection. When HIV virus enter the body, these are the first signs and symptoms that you notice:swollen lymph nodes, sore throat, flu, fever, night sweat, etc. It will be wise for him to wait after three months and test for HIV. |

Too Childish of all of you shortgun: Tragically we lost a close friend to the cold hands of death who passed away in a ghastly motor accident.
He was in his late thirties to early forties, unmarried, no child, and a Christian from the North west.
In solidarity, we his friends, proposed to hold a formal wake keep for him at his Abuja residence and promptly began the preparation process. This included securing the services of a DJ and arranging refreshments for the gathering.
Certain members of his family objected to the idea of the wake keep, contending that it was inappropriate for us to engage in partying and funfair following the untimely passing of their loved one. They insisted we limit the gathering to just a public address system and a choir to sing, nothing more.
Some of our friends are threatening to hands-off and withdraw their involvement from everything about the funeral including not attending the burial and allow the family members do whatever that pleases them. Others are of the opinion that we should ignore the family members and go ahead with our plans since we are going to be paying respect to our late friend and not members of his family.

The little cash Malaysia, Thailand, and others have, they used well, especially in a grid in the 80s. Today, we buy seeds from them. Please, tell me na....how much will it cost to produce good seeds for farmers here? Go and verify...they are producing nothing.
Sir, if I were in any agricultural position, I would use my money to do it cos it is not that expensive na. Even....USAID and some organisations still give agricultural lecturers grants. Not to mention that IITA's headquarters is based in Ibadan. Guy... opportunities are plenty. They are olodos! Period.
All the problems you have stated are the result of poor-thinking lecturers. Period.
Universities lecturers aren't supposed to be paid only by the FG na. They should have advanced seriously. Something is wrong with them. They are in a position to create streams of income for themselves. There are too many grants out there they can tap into....The FG is not only their source. They wan kill government?
The Nigerian government is useless....no doubt about it....but Nigerians are definitely more useless. Before you feel you have shown your prowess is criticism, let me affirm to you that you are ignorant of what innovation is and what lecturers do and are doing . We were given a contract by a foreign firm that is into steel production to review some articles published in Elsevier, Springer, Taylor and Francis, etc. These articles publish ideas and finding on improving the quality of steel, believe me more than 30% of the articles they sent were published by Nigerians academics with Nigerian affiliation. Reseach findings are open or behind pay wall in many hosting sites and publishers'site, the fact that Nigerian government is not using the research doesn't mean there was no output from Nigerian academics. Nigerian universities' laboratories are badly equiped yet they are chunning out valuable research and indexed in recorganised indexing bodies. The Malaysia you are talking about prefer Nigerian students which are mostly academics on TETFund and PTDF scholarship to drive their research output. Presently, Malaysia is among the top 8 countries in the world whose research articles have been retracted according to 'retraction watch'. There are a couple of Nigerian academics that are not doing well but a couple have also written and are still writing their names with gold ink. I don't want to even talk about the number of patents many hold. Until you know how such metrics are measured you will definitely write just the way you did. |

Also, I already did a modification to my initial post which you can see, so I don't understand what you are driving at. Finally, tetfund isn't for sch funding, but infrastructural funding in schools, they don't finance school operations. Obviously you didn't get what I was saying. The industry tax would have been fund shared by the three tiers of government, thus institution from these tiers are the beneficiaries. I didn't mention using TETFund to fund institutions' running cost, you clearly mixed things up. Correction again, the funds are not meant for infrastructure only. We have staff training and development (AST$D), book development, Research and development etc as well. |

OlujobaSamuel: Tetfund was created with an obj to cover all schools and not just public schools, public schools have been the sole beneficiary because private charged substantial fee that covers major infrastructural need. Modified. The fund is for just public schools, private is excluded. Thanks You are incorrect, the fund is sourced from 2% then and now 3% industry tax which could have been shared by Federal, State and Local Government. The money belongs to the three tier of government, so who ever is feeding you with that information is lying to you. The idea of funding private university was initially a plea from the owner which will require amending the act. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Will People's Prayers Work For Me After My Death? by Gooding55(m): 11:49am On Apr 16, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: 1. According to God, He does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous because their requests are made filthy and an abomination by their sins. This means that God does not answer prayers said by sinners and the unrighteous — not even their many pleas for the forgiveness of sins are heard and answered by Him. God only answers all — not some —of the prayers of the righteous. The righteous refers to individuals who through continuous submission and obedience to His teachings and commandments—not to be confused with doctrines and traditions of the churches of men — have proved themselves worthy to God Himself.
So, if God does not already answer any of your many petitions for the living, why would you worry about whether He responds to your petitions said for the dead? Thank you dear brother for raising your concern about this. Let's consider this 1 John 1:9. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Prayer is the only way to communicate with God, that means we confess our sins to God in prayers. Remember the story of David, he committed so many abominable acts but immediately he realized, he returned to God in prayers and with genuine repentance and God always forgive him. Despite murder and adultery recorded against him, God ended up saying "I have found a man after my own heart" his sins have never stood against God hearing his prayers, but God was impressed how he always returned to him in prayers to confess his sins and ask for forgiveness. God also blessed his generation, he sent Jesus Christ through David's lineage. Now, during the days of David, sacrifices are required along with prayers but God has made it easier for us today, all we need to do is 'confess our sins', this symbol appeared when Christ was crucified and the curtain of the temple tore into two, symbolizing free access to God in prayers not through Princes and Sacrifices. Now, when you sin, your sins will not stop God from hearing your prayers of confession but God awaits a sinner in earnest to repent. When you want to pray to God, ideally as in 'The Lord's prayer' four stages are involved, these are praises to God, then giving thanks to God, followed by genuine confession of sins and seeking forgiveness and finally your request. Finally, with regards to whether God hears prayers offered to the dead or not, I will refer you to the story of the rich man and Lazarus, the rich man pleaded with God to send Lazarus to his family to inform them about the reality of the torment sinners experience after dead, God did not allow that, in other words, he didn't allow third party. When a sinner dies, he/she faces judgement. The only account reported in the bible is when Christ died, he extended the salvation to people who died in sin and their soul are been kept in Hades, Hades is a place where sinners go to before judgement day, after which they will be casted into the lake of fire. Christ went to Hades and preached to them there. Hades means grave literally but it's actually a place that simulates grave, very dark and hot Just as grave is. Sorry for writing this long note but I hope you find answers to your question in it. |

oldienavie: I am a single man in my early 30s, I used to have a girlfriend some couple years ago . She cheated on me, I didnt break up with her but the relationship just kinda died and she moved on .
She started dating another guy but I was also sleeping with her occasionally cos she liked me, anyway, the guy found out and he decided he was not going to marry her, but somehow she got pregnant for the guy. I was already out of the country when she got pregnant for him.
The guy wanted her to abort but she wouldn't, she has a beautiful daughter now, she is not doing so bad as she works with one of the top banks as she is very comfortable. Because of the trauma she suffered during pregnancy, she became close to me as the boyfriend totally abandoned her and the guy has not set eyes on the daughter till today, the daughter is now 6 years old.
I have been out of the country for 7 years and I am due to be back in Nigeria in a few weeks time, I am going back to purposely to look for a wife, we are going to be in the same city .
We currently talk everyday and it has been like that since more than 6 years ago, she is not dating anyone at the moment and she also knows I am coming to look for a wife.
Its almost certain that we are going to get back to having sex as its just obvious despite that we have never discussed that, its hard to really stay away from her but not impossible I am thinking there is nothing wrong having her as a Friend With Benefit pending when I get a wife that I want to marry and then discharge her.
Will it be possible to be Friend With Benefit with her and easily discharge her when I find another woman I want to marry without issues ? I love her and would have considered marrying her if not for the history that we shared, we have now become the best of friends, but I am just confused if resuming sex with her will not make it difficult to keep her away from me when I find another woman.
You know women can be very emotional . What I don't understand is, she cheated on you with someone and you eft her, but you didn't see wrong in her cheating on her boyfriend with you? You both are the same. Her mistakes are the same with yours, is just because she's a woman. Don't take advantage of her again please. |

It is painful, but it will yield long-term gains. How would it yield long-term gains? can you cite any economic theory or case report to back this claim? I heard the new naira notes degrade easily under harsh storage condition, if that's true then it sounds like a good idea to the ear, but what I fear is Nigerians will always want to loot and pressure will mount more on scarce foreign exchange with time and consequently devalues the Naira and push inflation higher.
