Remove the cloak of tribal sentiment? That's ironic giving the accusation labelled against okonjo.

Women are already ruling and making critical decisions for the past two years in Nigeria, they are doing worse than their the male Presidents we've had in the past. Nigeria has 4 de facto Presidents, Okonjo Iweala, Allison Maduekwe, Madame Shepopo and Stella oduah.
Politics / Re: Ex-nema Spokesman Sacked Over Okonjo-iweala Article by Gorrbachev: 12:52pm On Oct 10, 2013
Iweala's kinswoman did it in Immigration, Stella is doing it in Aviation ministry. That's their way of reasoning and doing things. Imagine what her people are saying on this thread, Shuaib is wrong for complaining. Na turn by turn, how many months remain?

Abel202: Failure and Corrupt Fanny Kayode is not qualified to talk when achievers like Stella Oduah are talking.
The same Aviation Ministry this Mentally challenged former minister headed with absolutely nothing to show for it except stealing most of the funds under his care, is what Stella Oduah has transformed into one of the best performing Ministry under Jonathan's administration.
Every sane human being in Nigeria "that has eyes and can see" can attest to the transformation Stella Oduah has brought to our Airports and the whole aviation sector. Stella Oduah is one of the best, if not, the best aviation Minister Nigeria has ever had.
Irresponsible Miscreants like Fany Kayode should not be allowed to distract this performing woman.
Well I don't blame him. Mental illness is a challenge which can be surmounted when your loved ones take you to the psychiatric hospital for proper diagnoses and medication. Until that is done on Fanny Kayode, he can keep swapping the pictures of Bianca Ojukwu to Stella Oduah while doing his m.asturbations and hallucinations.
If Jonathan could be abit more serious with fighting corruption, this guy should be cooling his corrupt brain in maximum security prison instead of trying to distract serious minded people all the time.
A so-called man who is always picking fight with women, beautiful ones at that, chai is this man not cursed?

Yeah best performing ministry donating blood to Jonathan's blood alter. Stella and her likes are cursed.

PapaBrowne: A man who was minister of Aviation for a year and left us nothing to remember but a N19bn fraud has the mouth to attack a woman who in just two years has heralded the transformation of the Nigerian Aviation sector with the re modelling of 22 airports and the building of 5 brand new terminals.

Men who go around looking for women to fight all the time are usually tended towards homosexualism. Femi Fani Kayode should check his status and protect his children form the eventual embarrasment that would befall when it's finally discovered he is gay.

STFU. What transformation? She simply awarded renovation contracts to herself and hand picked airports were repainted. Whe Isa Yuguda said the death of Youth corpers was the will of God, igbos were allover the internet crying for his head. Pack well abeg. hypocrites.

2) The power reforms of GEJ will dwarf any legacy OBJ left behind

3) Our mass transit systems viz rail, roads, ports and airports will also be another legacy

4) Demystification of Governance and all the secrecy associated with it

5) The reforms in agriculture will also be another legacy

how come most of the few passionate supporters of Chris Ngige on NL are Yoruba people from the SW, who would never vote on the day??

Just an Interesting observation sha....

Stop fooling yourself, no one gives a damn about what happens in alaigbo. its igbo mental cases on NL that use Yoruba monikers to comment on threads like this. of what use is anambra election to Yorubas or even igbos from other states. Look at how many pages the thread it has. no one gives a F.

Politics / Re: When Common Sense Trounces Academic Brilliance! Soyinka Vs Orji Uzor Kalu. by Gorrbachev: 5:37pm On Oct 05, 2013
Bensonite: I believe the writer of this piece was not Kalu has some have already construe it to be. It was rather a comparison of two personalities(Soyinka and Kalu) approach to the political conundrum in Rivers state. While one proffered solution after blaming all the players, the other just took side without solution offered.

Soyinka is one of those people that could live in exile without giving a damn about what happened to Nigeria or Nigerians. His generation paid with blood, sweat and tears for democracy of which PEJ and her family are currently the biggest benefactors. Now, to see some fat pig arrogantly taking over a state like a military regime will definitely trigger bad memories.

Kalu will say the same thing if the president is boko-haram or alqaeda. When dealing with people like kalu, the highest bidder wins not common sense or clear conscience.

ogugua88: Because of the shootings, right?

Well, if I'm shot in the United States, I or the nearest person will call 911. An emergency dispatch operator will answer the call, take all necessary details, and dispatch an ambulance to my location. Paramedics will get to the scene within minutes and gently put me on a gurney, keeping my spine aligned, and check my vital signs. They will load me into the ambulance and hook me to oxygen and start treating my wounds. They will drive me to the nearest trauma hospital on smooth roads, sirens blaring so that cars clear the way. They will call the hospital and notify them of a young woman with gunshot wounds soon to arrive. We'll arrive at the hospital where I'll be rushed into an already-prepped emergency room. Paramedics will give report to the emergency room personnel, as nurses connect me to IV fluids to stabilize me and doctors give orders. Doctors will call the operating room, where the surgeon will admit me for surgery to have the bullet(s) removed. I will be transferred to the operating room, where an anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist will sedate me and the surgeon will remove the bullets. Operating room nurses will monitor me vigilantly, before, during, and after surgery. When the surgery is completed and all goes well, I will be sent to the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), where PACU nurses will monitor my vital signs and body reactions as the sedatives wear off. Depending on my condition, I will either be transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU) until I'm no longer in critical condition, or they will brief me about post-operative care and discharge me from the hospital.

I'd rather be shot here. cool

This is good and without paying kobo. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

This thread is not about comparism. I don't know why bigoted Ibos are always comparing Dbanj with Psquare whenever he is mentioned. Music is a universal thing and cuts across tribes, no need for unnecessary comparisms.
As for you, you are just a sEnzless pretender. You always say trashy things about the Yoruba tribe and anything that has to do with it while pretending to be a Yoruba. Your Master didn't school you well. You need to go for more lessons and who even asked for your tribal affilations to make your comments? Politics / Re: Chief Of Defence Staff, Minister Of Defence And National Security Adviser. by Gorrbachev: 3:49pm On Oct 01, 2013
LastApostle: They are all political appointees.

In the ministry of defence, the minister of defence holds sway, the chief of defence staff reports to him.

National security adviser is just a domestic staff of the president. His advice may or may not hold water so he's just the president other ear.

In chronological order,
The president
The defence Minister
The chief of Defence
National security adviser

is this conformed by law or its just your opinion that the CODS reports to the Minister?
Politics / Chief Of Defence Staff, Minister Of Defence And National Security Adviser. by Gorrbachev: 9:37am On Oct 01, 2013
Between the chief of defence staff of the Nigerian armed forces, the Minister of defence of the Federal republic and the national security Adviser, who is superior?

Let's assume an unknown soldier is more likely to obey his superior in the armed force than a civilian who is a minister or advisor, and we all agree the President by law, is empowered to command troops on a strategic level and in every other circumstance(Uncle Joe doesn't). My question is this, What's the job description of the Minister of defence and the national security adviser. Apart from the advantage in the form of advisory influence that they have on the President, is the Minister of defence superior to the Chief of defence staff according to the Nigerian constitution?

Secondly, is Ola Ibrahim still the Chief of defence staff?
