I perfectly understand what you are saying but you are going out of context of our discussion to another issue sir.

Please can you interpret the verse below:

For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. Heb 9:16-18 KJV

Am waiting sir.
@ Olaadegbu, am waiting for you to interpret this verse. I see you are kind of dodging it.
Christianity EtcRe: Examples Of Apostle Paul conviniently ignored By preachers/pastors today. by Goshen360(m): 3:46am On Mar 21, 2012

I think the confusion of many Christians is the Priesthood of Jesus after the order of Melchizedek. If we can get this right then we will get tithe right or wrong. As Jesus is a Priest after the order of Melchizedek, then why didn't he receive tithe when he was still on earth. I am about to sleep now but by the grace of God we will look at the Priesthood of Melchizedek first and see if that supports tithes or not. Shalom.
Christianity EtcRe: Examples Of Apostle Paul conviniently ignored By preachers/pastors today. by Goshen360(m): 2:54am On Mar 21, 2012
Yes sir, You are taking scriptures out of context. An elder can get double honour without receiving tithe. When that scriptures said the elders who rule shall shall have double honour, it did say through tithing and offering. Since the new testament supports free will giving and supporting the ministers of God, then it can be interpreted to the context of free will giving of God's people. Please stop adding to God's word sir because there is consequence for doing that. Jesus our high Priest didnt receive tithe but supports when he was on earth. Apostle Paul didnt receive tithe neither did he or any of the Apostles taught or received tithe under the new covenant. Why should our preachers be receiving tithe? It is unscriptural sir and we can prove it. Thank you

To better understand our next teaching series, here is a view of the picture of Dagon. This is how it looks like. Can God hide a mystery, message or revelation inside this Philistine god for us the Christians of today? Is it just by chance or co-incident that Dagon kept falling before the ark of covenant? If you think that god or created idols are meant for people to worship other than the Living God, wait till I unfold the revelation of Dagon. The bible says, "The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law". Deut 29:29 KJV. The bible also says, "The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant". Psalm 25:14 KJV.

Christianity EtcThe Prophetic Revelation Of "Dagon" To Every Christian. by Goshen360(op):
Today, I want to share a timely revelation to true believers, Christians, the Church of Jesus and the entire body of Christ. It is a revelation of what had plagued us as children of God and had not made us in the entire body of Christ to fully function as God would have us function. God is asking us to deal with this plague by the power of His Spirit. I hope this word of the Lord bless us richly. I want to share with us the revelation of Dagon, the chief god of the Philistines. Prayerfully allow God to speak to you from this revelation.

Now these [are] the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, [even] as many [of Israel] as had not known all the wars of Canaan; Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof; [Namely], five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath. And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses. And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites: And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods. And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves. Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years. And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, [even] Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim. Judges 3:1-10 KJV.

Many times in the bible, the word of God we see the children of Israel during the pre-church age often engaged in war with one nation or the other. This is very prophetic to us today in the church age that we have the fulfilment of the prophetic picture of the Israelites when they were still in the pre-church age. Today, it does not mean we as Christians should go about fighting wars but still we are into warfare. Even though we live in the physical or in the flesh, our warfare is not carnal or physical but spiritual. To make you understand this properly, Apostle Paul talked about this in many ways. Listen to this:

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds”. 2 Cor. 10:3-4.

“Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come” 1 Cor. 10:11 KJV

Also, Apostle Paul made it very clear that everything that happened to the Israelites, in the pre-church age happened to them for our examples. Meaning, God allowed it to happen to them for us, in the fulfillment of the church age to learn and avoid same mistakes they committed.

In the passage above (Judges 3:1-10), there are groups or nations, all enemies of Israel who were left to dwell within the land. We read of the Philistines, Canaanites, Sidonians, Hivities, Hittites, Amorities, Perizzites, and the Jebusites. All these nations were not meant to be there living with the Israelites. God gave instruction to the Israelites to drive them out when they came out of Egypt (the world) but they refused. Due to Israel’s disobedience, God left them for two reasons which are mentioned in the passage above: that is, for testing and for teaching. However, to us in the fulfilment of the church age, these nations are quite symbolic and very prophetic of different fleshly, worldly and satanic principles that stand against us as the people of God today.

The greatest of these enemies are the Philistines. How? Why? Am glad you asked. The reason is, among all the enemies, only the Philistines have one chief god called Dagon and five (5) lords. Joshua 13:3 named the Philistine lords:

The Gazathites.
The Ashdothites.
The Eshkalonites.
The Gittites and
The Ekronites.

Each of these five lords is also symbolic and very prophetic to us today. The Philistines were the most aggressive and suppressive nation against Israel (now the church, believers, Christians, children of God and the body of Christ) as they journeyed towards the Promised Land (our heavenly hope) and one whom Israel would battle for a very long time and consistently.

According to the Strong’s bible concordance, the name ‘Philistine’ means ‘wallowing’ or to ‘wallow self’. The dictionary says that wallowing means ‘roll about in or to give oneself over to, or revel in, a feeling, or way of life.

Now, we read that there were five Lords of the Philistines. This interprets our five different aspects of “self nature” in regards to wallowing which are:

1. Self-pity.
2. Self-depreciation.
3. Self-importance.
4. Self-indulgence and
5. Self-pleasure.

The Philistines interprets our greatest enemy of ‘self’ in all the delicious forms. It does not matter whether you are wallowing in the depths of self-pity or are giving yourself over to worldly indulgence or self-importance, one thing is for sure and true, there are stinking Philistines in the land or lives. And don’t forget this either, of all the enemies of Israel, the Philistines were the greatest and lasted the longest. This was not an easy battle then, and it isn’t an easy battle now. The Philistines remained and would later become Israel’s strongest and most bitter enemy during the reigns of King Saul and King David. So don’t be surprised, even if you have been a Christian 20-30 years, at the depth of “wallowing self” will do if unchecked.

Does this “self wallowing” remind you of the words of our Lord Jesus when He called us to discipleship after Him saying, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew 16:25 KJV. Do these Philistines remind you of a great man of God that we are often quick to talk about today who was brought down by the same Philistines? His name is Samson. Can you remember it was the same five lords that asked Delilah to lure Samson to fall? Judges 16:5. Do you remember it was same Philistines that captured the ark of covenant (a symbolic of the presence of God) 1 Samuel 5:1. Do you remember Goliath is a Philistine terrorizing the children of Israel and it will only take the anointed one like David to defeat him? 1 Samuel 17. We can go on and on to mention all the activities of the Philistines against the children of God that are all symbolic and prophetic to us today as Christians. Many of us today can no longer spend time in the presence of God today because our ark had being captured by the Philistines. The Philistines are terrible to our Christian journey and God is telling us to drive them out. It is our responsibility by the help of the Holy Spirit in Prayer.

When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day. 1 Samuel 5:1-5 KJV

The Ark of covenant (symbolic of our presence of/with God) was captured by the Philistines (our self wallowing) and was brought into the house of Dagon, their chief god. God is showing us another revelation and prophetic message here. Dagon is the “chief god” of the philistines who are also the greatest enemies of Israel and we have seen from above that we (the church, Christians, believers and the body of Christ) are the Israel of God today. Meaning, there is a chief god of our “self wallowing” called Dagon that must come down and be cut off upon the threshold in the presence of God (the ark of covenant). So the question is who or what is Dagon? How does this “god” in our lives as Christians look like? How does it operate? The only place that Dagon can fall upon his face, his head and both palms of his hand cut off is IN THE PRESSENCE OF THE ARK OF THE LORD. We read that it was also in the presence of God (the ark of covenant) that Dagon fell; neither the priests of Dagon nor any that comes into Dagon house thread on the threshold of Dagon unto THIS DAY.

I WILL BE BACK TO COMPLETE THIS REVELATION OF DAGON WITH US. UNTIL THEN, LET’S PRAYERFULLY SEEK THE FACE OF GOD TO DEAL WITH OR DRIVE OUT OUR PHILISTINES.

lol. If you don't take the words of Paul seriously, You must take the words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ seriously my brother. Jesus was born under the law, lived the law and at the same time setting a new Law that will take effect after His death.

Let me give you an example: The woman with caught in adultery. The Law of Moses says she must be stoned but Jesus saw a potential convert and forgiveness. God does not desire that all should perish in sin but that all should come to repentance. Remember, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Supposing we have being stoned to death before now, how shall we come to Christ. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly No. Think about that bro.

That is just one. I can pull many examples for you to see that as he was fulfilling the Law, he was also setting a new order that will take effect after His death.

Yes, he was born under the law, lived the law and fulfilled the law. While he was living, he was setting a new order (new testament) that will take effect after his death. The cross separates the Old from the New Testament, not Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. Heb 9:16-18 KJV

Christianity EtcRe: The truth your pastor would not tell you about tithes by Goshen360(m): 10:04pm On Mar 19, 2012
I thank God the Spirit of God is loosing men from the bondage of the law of tithing. God gave out His spirit to freely lead us in this Christian age but men created traditions and law of tithing because they needed money to run ministry. Truly, the silent revolution had started already. Christians are suppose to freely give out of the things that God had freely given to us.

Prove tithing in the new testament sir. Remember, by revelation, Jesus was born under the law and died to fulfill the law. Also remember, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John is not new testament. Sir, kindly prove tithing from Acts of Apostle to Revelation as laid down by Jesus or taught by the Apostles.

Christianity EtcRe: Jesus Is The Fulfillment Of The Law (tithing), Do I Still Need To Tithe? by Goshen360(m): 8:28pm On Mar 19, 2012
One of the reasons God canceled tithing is because of the new testament order of "They that are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God" This law was a school master to train the heart of Israelites into obedience. The law of tithing is over and the law of free will giving had being given to believers. May the Lord give people revelation of the truth.

Well, I guess you are entering another realm now, the realm of instincts, naturally know between good and evil. You see, this is the way people lived before the completion of the bible. Now we have the complete bible, the complete written word,we have to live by it. My brother, I have seen shocking revelations in the word of God. Of course, we have to think independently but not against the will n word of God. I hope my point is clear sir.

Blackteeth: I used the issue of self service as an example to illustrate a point. I think we need to stop over relying on the bible. We have to start thinking independently without using those accient scriptures having loop holes here and there. God is with us and he gave us enough wisdom too see things ourselves without those scriptures. You cant just swallow the bible hook, line and sinker
The bolded surprised me sir. Are you are believer?
Christianity EtcRe: Is Sin Decided In The Mind Or In The Bible? by Goshen360(m): 9:48pm On Mar 18, 2012
Permit me to treat this issue with you sir.

Anything you think in your mind and it negates the word of God, is not from God. Remember even Satan can transform himself into an Angel of light. Also, remember, Satan also quoted the scriptures to deceive Jesus. My brother, we must be rooted very well in the word of God, otherwise, Satan can even deceive us with same scriptures. There is no way you can think mastubation is not a sin because you think so. Except you are not a true believer. The Spirit of God will convict you in the light of the word of God. Like somebody said, "the Holy Spirit told me to kill my nephew" Are you telling me that is not sin because she thought it in her mind is not against her mind or thinking? CERTAINLY NOT.

I hope this is Okay but if not, we can trash it very well with bible teachings sir, Okay. Thanks
