I dont get you. are you saying Jesus was Jesus's hebrew name? I thought Jesus was the greek version of Yeshua and i found out in old Isreal times the men usually had the father's name as the surname so Jesus hebrew name may have been Yeshua bin Yoseph.

tell us in what name do you pray? in Jesus or Yeshua? and why.

Jesus is greek, Yeshua is hebrew, but while pray in the name of Jesus and not Yeshua? Coz i'll be made to believe hebrew is the basis of the bible and not greek.

Even those who are quick to say “give that money to the poor” sometimes do absolutely nothing to help the poor. Instead, they slander churches for not creating community based projects when they as individuals are not helping the poor in their respective capacities.  But on the flip side, the seed-faith doctrine is man-made. We don’t pay God for His blessings. As Crossman rightly said, our blessing is a done deal (Eph 1:3). Ministers fond of raising all kinds of offerings are servants of money and their scams only succeed with the gullible. My point really – give liberally and generously as the Lord leads you. You’ll find that He gently leads us to give towards helping people, not helping a ‘minister’ build his empire.

Either he touches you or you touch .the power of God can be transferred to or throung points of contact. Remember Jesus anointed dust and spittle . And it healed blind eyes.

WHY ARE THE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITIES IN NAIJA THE MOS EXPENSIVE?

OVER 75% OF THE MEMBERS OF RCCG CANNOT AFFORD TO SEND THEIR CHILDREN TO THE RCCG UNIVERSITY BECAUSE OF THE HIGH FEES, YET ALL FAMILIES ARE BEING ASKED (WHETHER VOLUNTARILY OR NOT) TO DONATE N50K TOWARDS RELOCATING THE SCHOOL. WHY?

MY SUGGESTION IS: INSTEAD OF OPENING THESE NEW AND EXPENSIVE SCHOOLS, SOME OF THESE CHURCHES CAN ADOPT THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND IMPROVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM FOR THE POOR CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITIES.

PASTORS, PLEASE CONSIDER THE POOR IF REALLY THE CHRISTIANS MEAN TO REACH OUT TO THE WORLD.

The Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) has asked every family in the church to donate #50,000 to support the relocation of Redeemers University from the camp to the permanent site in Ede, Osun State.
Sometimes ago, the pastors were asked to pay #10,000 each to have lunch with the general overseer (I think this happens yearly).

I'm just wondering, what would Jesus do? Is it really right making demands off church members this way?

I would like your thoughts on this but bear in mind that they are not forced to cough out the money, it's totally voluntary.

My brother, let me first say I appreciate the way you've handled yourself in the forum of recent, very mature and respectful and I apreciate that a lot. As per the issue, its not about silencing the opposition or allowing 'heresy' to go unchalleneged. This is simply about keeping the discussions impersonal and leaving personal names, attacks or issues out of it. I am sure Joagbaje will be happy to answer your queries if you simply left his real name out of it.

Joagbaje didn't send me a private mail, its on the mod thread for all to see. I've been noticing people attacking him personally recently and that is against forum rules and is simply not in good taste. We can make our points with respect and maturity. Thanks again and stay blessed.
