I don't understand that. We are to interpret by PRAYER, DIGGING DEEPER AND BY THE SAME HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. This is what gives you revelation of the word (By the Spirit) not by Letters.

You need to define the Old and New first. Then you can know if such book exist in between the Old and New. There are many books written but they are NOT Inspired by the Holy Spirit. My brother, STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD. Let me show you the difference by adjective of the word of God. God doesn't just speak, You need to pay attention to details and VITAL information. Look at this:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Tim 3:16 KJV

tie these two scriptures together

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:21 KJV

When you tie these two scriptures together, there is a writing or speaking by the will of MAN and there is a writing or speaking by the WILL of God which is inspired by the Holy Ghost. The bible we have is the will of God, forget about such books as books Enoch and the rest of them. They exist but written by the will of Man.

Hebrews 9:

15 ¶ And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

YES! You are missing something brother.

There are two dimensions of/to the word of God God. Listen to what Paul says in 2 Cor. 3:6 KJV. You can read other translations to get it clearer,

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Get out of the letter dimension and delve into the Spirit dimension. Listen to this again and link to the above scriptures.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 2 Cor. 2:10 KJV

Notice it is the Spirit that searches the deep things of God, NOT the Letters.

I can pull many scriptures to tell you it is Old Testament apart from the Hebrews verses used to prove they are Old Testament. You've to dig deep brother,lol. You know you don't get water on the surface. Rivers of living waters don't come to flow by scratching the surface, it flows by opening the source and the "container" being turned up side down.

Vote to answer the question or learn from others. For me, in the light of the scriptures, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John which are the synoptic gospels are NOT New Testament. They are Old Testament.

It's all false teachings. There is no such in the new testament teachings. Purity is of the heart and holiness is between man and God, not between man and pastor/church. This is all religious, Pharisaical and hypocritical teachings.

The word, “Baptism” is a greek work translated “baptisma” which mean "to dip", "to immerse", "to dye by dipping into".

The word, “Baptisma” has been translated into a neutral and masculine noun. The neutral noun ending with the suffix –ma and the masculine noun derived from the word, “baptismos” with the suffix – os.

Hence we have, baptisma and baptismos. Baptisma indicates the result of the act of dipping while baptismos indicates the completed act. Baptisma must not be confused with baptismos. Baptisma is the act of dipping, immerse and to dye by dipping into while baptismos is the completed, a ceremonial washing that was constituents of the rites of the Old testament law. Reference to baptismos is in Heb. 9:10, Mark 7:4 KJV

Baptisma is a technical ~~New Testament~~/Old Testament term. It begins with John the Baptist "in" or/and "with" water. It was later instituted by Christ to be administered by His disciples in the New testament. It is synonymous to bath, metaphorically meaning the word of God which, when we believe, brings spiritual cleansing.

Noticed I stroked New Testament above. Why? This is one of the reason we are in this bible study. The New testament DOES NOT begin with Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. It began in Acts of Apostles. Jesus is the mediator of the New testament/covenant. Not until He died, the New Testament could not start. Reference: Heb 9:15-18 KJV. So we have the audacity to call/classify Matthew to John as Old Testament.

Somethings in our world today are kind of hard to explain with insight. I do not find such kind of dream or clue in the world of God but I know God speaks to us through dream and vision.

The best I can tell you for now is, If you are a re-generated Christian, you may be eating in your dream probably because you have not been eating from the word of God. I advice you to start feeding from God's word deeply and see how it goes. Many times, If am about to eat in my dream, I always wake up. Hence, I conclude that something negative is attributed to eating in the dream and kind of see that God is the one waking me up whenever am about to eat in my dream.

God can work miracles because he had worked miracles in the past. Will he work miracles today? Am still trying to do an intensive study to answer this considering many scriptural verses plus the fact the Jesus said, many false prophets shall arise in last days with lying wonders. I might personally need time to dig deep into this aspect of if God will do miracles today.

Jesus needed miracles to validate his messiah ship otherwise, the Jews will never believe he is the messiah. Moses needed proof that God sent him, God validated by opening a sea apart for them to walk through. They all needed miracles to validate the messages of God being preached for people to believe the message of God being preached. Today, the bible is complete, we don't need miracles to believe anymore. WE NEED FAITH TO BELIEVE.

If you believe miracle and people around you believe otherwise, all you have to do is raise the dead or open a blind eyes, walk on water esp the river or beach, make broken bone to come back, call 5000 people together and take 5 loaves and 2 fishes to feed them. This is the definition of miracle - A supernatural act that negates the law of the natural.

iluvnaija: I want to thank you all for your comments and advice.

I will give my tithe to the orphans and people living with disabilities, churches nowadays has become a big business. In the late 70s and up to late 80s churches were not like this but now pastors move in convoys even with escorts and it saddens my heart that some members of the church are suffering.

You are welcome. I personally do not have grudges with men of God going in convoys with escorts, or churches becoming business centres, that is not what am personally against as they are signs of the end time. What am against is the falsehood of tithing in the new testament practice of the church. This is unscriptural for the new testament church.
