Henrodah:April 1990. Gideon Orkar coup |
This Buhari administration has become a great example of failed government. Just over the weekend farmers were rounded up and killed by boko haram just 20km from the command headquarters of the unit that is currently battling the insurgents Ironically, a former theatre commander who is telling the truth about the situation of his troops is being punished for saying it as it is. There are too much deceives going on in this country. Buhari is a major failure, if the sitting president is the Buhari that I vigorously campaigned for in 2014 . God help us |
Emetofranklinch:True talk, man is naturally polygamous. Nothing anyone wants to say that can help proven otherwise. If you are disciplined enough to control yourself sexually, then you are good too much and the grace is there for you. However, Male species of every animal, including humans are naturally susceptible to polygamous lifestyles. |
wearsandtrends1:If farmers can not afford to buy Rolls Royce ,who can buy. Farmers are making more money than any other business you can think of. We are not talking about peasant food farming now, when you witness the type of money commercial farmers are making, you will definitely find a way of becoming one. |
Jashub:No reason for any one to be rude to a strange person at all. Be it physically or on any platform that is being used. It's a simple and easy way to greetings any body that is greeting you for the first time in a polite manner. Anything less than a cuttesy greetings to a strangers at anytime is a sign of foolishness and mannerless |
God help this generation. We have left the family value our forefathers lives and activated European lifestyles. Here we are, with the repercussions |
Congratulations to the royal family. God bless the new boy |
This Buhari government is the most dishonest of all governments since 1999. As high as we raised our hopes. Buhari and his team failed woefully. |
Africa and her yesterday leaders. We are witnessing a different kind of leadership today. Rest in peace Rawlins. |
*PONDER ON THIS* *IN 1980 NIGERIA EXCHANGED 80kobo to 1$* *TODAY NIGERIA EXCHANGES ₦470 to 1$* *BUT HERE ARE THE MAJOR REASONS AS CAPTURED BY AN ANONYMOUS WRITER.* *We shouldn't be surprised.* *We were far more productive in 1980 than we are today* *In 1980 the key reasons for economic growth were are as follows:* *1) We were a net exporter of refined petroleum products. Today we import all our refined petroleum products.* *2) We rode in locally assembled cars, buses and trucks. Peugeot cars in Kaduna and Volkswagen cars in Lagos.* *Leyland in Ibadan and ANAMCO in Enugu produced our buses and trucks.* *Steyr at Bauchi producing our Agricultural tractors.* *And it was not just Assembly, we were producing many of the components.* *Vono products in Lagos producing the seats.* *Exide in Ibadan producing the batteries, not just for Nigeria but for the entire West Africa.* *Isoglass and TSG in Ibadan producing the windshields.* *Ferodo in Ibadan producing the brake pads and discs* *Tyres produced by Dunlop in Lagos and Mitchelin in Portharcourt.* *And I mean tyres produced from rubber plantations located in Rivers State.* *3) We were listening to Radio and watching television sets assembled in Ibadan by Sanyo.* *4) We were using refrigerators, freezers and Airconditioners produced by Thermocool.* *5) We were putting on clothes produced from the UNTL textile mills in Kaduna and Chellarams in Lagos.* *Not from imported cotton but from cotton grown in Nigeria.* *6) Our water was running through pipes produced by Kwalipipe in Kano.* *7) Our toilets were fitted with WC produced at Kano and Abeokuta.* * We were cooking with LPG gas stored inside gas cylinders produced at the NGC factory in Ibadan.* *9) Our electricity was flowing through cables produced by the Nigerian wire and Cable, Ibadan and Kablemetal in Lagos and Portharcourt.* *10) We had Bata and Lennards producing the shoes we were putting on* *Not from imported leather but from locally tanned leather at Kaduna.* *11) We were mainly flying our airways, the Nigeria Airways, to most places in the world.* *The Airways was about the biggest in Africa at that time.* *12) Most of the food we ate were being grown or produced in Nigeria*. *We were producing all of the above and more in 1980* *Today, we import almost everything.* *There lies the source of the terrible exchange rate we are experiencing today and everybody reading this has a critical role to play in reversing this very UGLY trend.* *It is not enough for us to complain about the exchange rate or point out what others are not doing or are failing to do, the key question is what are we producing or what are we planning to produce?* *Going forward, it's time to ponder and think of the way forward progressivesly before it's TOO LATE.* *Credit goes to the Unknown writer for this beautiful reminder.* We have been talking about these problems and more for ages... *What solutions do you have in mind*. * |
If African pastors and prophets can see the solution to our Africa economic crisis, it would have been better than seeing trump and Biden. Let Americans sought themselves out. |
Congratulations to the couple. Mr Elrufai, be a good leader to your people as you are to your family. The people of Kaduna state are yearning for good governance. |
You don't need to have any regrets about posting that video. What happened was destined to be. Natural forces were at work around you the overzealous policemen and the victims. The consequence of this is that there is a great consciousness all over the world about police brutality against the people of Nigeria. There are many more issues bordering Nigerians home and abroad that this very issue has been able to bring to light. The natural forces just use you as an instrument to awaken the people. |
Things fall apart and the centre is not holding. I hope Buhari government will be able to study the situation of the people of Nigeria and make a decision that will change over the system to bring something new. |
No cause for alarm. Routine security drills in time like this is good. If you are not a trouble maker, nothing spoils |
technuel:It's only a fool and unreasonable person that we agree to the fact that Igbo are up to destroying Lagos. What will the Igbo people gain from destroying Lagos? Lagos, where Igbo traders are very much better off than any other place including the south east. We should not blame anyone or any tribe for the destruction that is ongoing in Lagos. I believe all the people of southern Nigeria are together in this struggle to restructuring the country. Let us all watch out for the antics of divide and confusion being driven into our minds from the enemies camps. Government is our number one enemy in this struggle |
I sincerely hope the whole situation will become calm. In all of these brouhaha, where is our president. Buhari, as the leader of the nation suppose to have taken control by addressing the nation. I am totally ashamed to have been a very strong supporter and believer of Buhari government. What are the people around him telling him? If care is not taken, we may have started a great monsters that will not go away soon. |
Where is president Buhari in all these brouhaha? What type of president do we have? Will Buhari wait till the protesters becomes warriors and fighters on the streets? Femi Adeshina is also quite silent, is there no longer fabulous fabricated stories to tell again? Gradually, they are loosing the control of the structure. |
Very unfortunate for the victims of the wicked treatment of Sars operatives. No retreat, no surrender. Something must be done. Buhari must talk |
When is president Buhari going to address the nation? Technically speaking, if Buhari government does not respond well, this may likely result into a great revolution. There are many issues begging for the people to explodes. Once the system is ignited , and it is not douse down immediately, it will surely boomerang. It's high time Buhari and his kitchen cabinet put heads together and come out with reasonable response. |
I hope government will be able to handle the monsters they are about to create. People who are resolutely ready can not be done with by agberos. It's good president Buhari himself comes out to address the nation and tell us what he has as answer to the demands of the protesters. God help us |
ASUU and federal government should please get some compromise on this issue. Government should give something and ASUU should also concede something on their demands . It's totally a systematic process of killing our knowledge base by allowing this issue to continue with the students out of schools. |
Things fall apart and is falling apart faster and faster. God help Nigerians. A total surgery is required for Nigeria and Nigerians to be restored back to line of goodness. |
Nigerians are the only ones that can help themselves. Any government in power here in Nigeria will only give us worse situations than the government before them. It's good that some people are now being bold and courageous to start a process of streets demonstrations to demand for some real right of the people. |
God help us in this country. We are witnessing a great opportunity for change in Nigeria. I just pray that it will end in a very positive way . |
God help us in this country. We are witnessing a great opportunity for change |
More grease to her elbows. Struggle continues. |
It is unfortunate that we are only talking about the bad side of marijuana or cannabis sativa. Marijuana is very much useful in medicine than its narcotics identity. Instead of dealing on this business illegally, and NDLEA destroying plantations here and there, I think government should strictly regulate and control the environment where the weeds is being grown. Pharmaceutical companies have a lot to do in the business of marijuana, it is not good enough to keep labeling this wonderful gift of nature as bad thing. |
Righteousness89:God help us. God almighty the creator and benefactor of everything has given us his creation to explore and continue the journey of creativity and exploration through the knowledge he deposited in human beings. Worshipping of almighty God is a major part of our life journey through the Earth, but exploring the universe through constant upgrading of our knowledge is as important as worshipping our God almighty. Preaching is part of making God known to the people, but it is good to acknowledge the works of intelligent people who are making the world of today more easy to live in. I am not going against your reminding people of eternity, but everything about life is good to be proved by knowledge. |
chrisxxx:God bless you Let the leaders of the agitation comes up with a detailed understanding of how they want to go through the process. How the intended nation will be governed. The reality of this day Nigeria is blinking and unstable and everyone knows that something has to happen. But the agitation for biafra and oduduwa can not be archived on a matter of street protests, it must be a coordinated process by all aspects. It's archivable if the agitators are well aware and organized. |
