Go to google fusion table, you will find some data for Nigerian post code and INEC data. Maybe you should make an effort to share, or begin data collection in a way others can contribute to. |
To celebrate arsenal win ( I know there is a second leg), can I have a big toast/pancake and a bowl of cereal (any nut cereal will do). |
Can you explain just a little bit more? |
I searched for Dayo Adedayo and guess where I found him. On facebook, certainly, but also on romancescam dot com. I found his hompage at dayoadedayo dot com. Since he is your friend can you advice him to work on getting his picture off that romancescam site. Thanks for the information sha. |
No offence but look at it logically, you have only 0.01 percent of what he needs. But of course you are so right I don't even have any. But again how am I suppose to have one when I am not Nigerian Telephone directory (abi I resemble MTN). peddylinko:That is the right way to go. Any other way is called spamming, and spamming is not a good thing. |
Please don't put the guy to shame again. He is asking and I think he has gotten his answers. Just surprised he has not checked back 2 days later. |
Like someone said earlier, "I thought it was public property". And see me wishing I could form patriotic and use it as my screenssaver to express my love for Nigeria. I love my country. |
The bigger picture my brother. If you were asked to pay a little price for a greater good, we all end up saying not me, let someone else pay for it. But we all want the greater good. It will always end up a dream until we learn that there is a good beyond our own personal good. I hope they pay you sha if you have a legitimate claim. |
20 000 out of 20 million. Is there a business in that? Guy come and dump the data here, you have got nothing to sell. |
The guy (Gov. Fashola) has fans o. How I wish that 10% of the elected government officials will put in the same zeal the lagos state governor has put these past years. It is people like Fashola that gives us hope that there is a future. I can imagine if we had his type (or better) in Aso Rock. I hope it is sooner than later. |
For me the toll gate is not the issue. The major issues should be the transparency about it. How long is the toll gate going to run. What will the government do to ensure the price announced remains for the most part constant. The truth is tolls are for development. The challenge is always the honesty and transparency about it, particularly in Nigeria. |
I like Fashola. I like the things I see whenever I get to Lagos. I hope he has plans for the higher office and more hope he keeps being better. |
Its an old thread, yes I know, but is the image not just beautiful. Anybody got a closer view. |
I just wish Nairaland was always like this. Nice point Kobo and good luck to you @webmonkey. Now can the admin close this post. |
Kobojunkie:Therein lies my reasoning. If he is asking how best to implement web services, don't you think he is going to come back asking for how to implement security if he goes ahead implementing it "simply". I am not a this language is the best or this framework rocks person, but his problem domain for me falls in to one for using a framework. Yes? |
nwolisag@gmail.com It is a shame that you are not going to be testing logic errors. For me that is what you should be offering bounty on. It is always difficult for in house developers to spot that. Simple tools and web application can spot 404 errors at no cost. So I think you are not gaining much by restricting your test, but any way 1 can still help. |
I will still say go for Spring. The learning curve is not that steep for any one with more than a beginner background on Java. And I believe that is a major consideration for a project manager. How fast can you team integrate a new technology. One thing that is an advantage for spring is the way stuffs are broken in to modules. You can integrate as need arises. So you can break up to the team along the lines of WS and Security and other module. |
Seems everyone is rooting for Java. So poster is that language of choice? |
Rather it is picking up again. Have you seen the latest company and technology built around java. Everyday SpringSource is growing stronger by the day and they depend on java entirely. Not forgetting the new kid on the block, Android. |
^^^ Seconded. Spring and Hibernate. Spring makes it easy to do just that. |
^^^^^ Seconded, |

Has any one got his or her facebook email? I upgraded to the new mail this morning. The email address is made up of your profile name with an added @facebook.com . My thoughts: it looked very simple. You could mistake it for a chat box. I think that was the intention, because with the new facebook email, your chat also saves as a mail. You also notice the feature that they call quick reply. That is the enter button sends your mail there is no reply button. This will mean a whole lot. Another feature I noticed is the ease of taking a picture or video and attaching it to your mail. The feature is built into the mail, a similar button to that for taking picture or videos in facebook. Will it fly, are you going to make it your primary email, what do you think? |
OPPORTUNITY, For me it is a good thing. If you read the press release you will realise the intention is to popularise the .ng domain. That is a good thing. Don't be so overly suspicious of everything. Even Seun has registered nairaland.com.ng (although the site is not redirecting properly). Just see opportunity. |
A comprehensive coverage of the leaks on Nigeria. http://christianpurefoy.tumblr.com/ |
MisterMan:I remember the project(s) llike it was yesterday. I just hope someone gives it a try again. 2 years is a long time for a lot of changes. I hope so. |
Its a good thing. One hope we can see this kind of competitive atmosphere to actually deliver service in all aspect of the Nigerian economy. think Power suppy (NEPA). |
^^^^ Really? |
No don't open a thread. Next time DHL the thing. |
Maybe Seun should just had a widget that can show what each person is listening to. For real I wonder what we will see, |
iice:I like your style. You no fit come last. This prequel was done to give him time to recover. Seems he will not be back, that is what the new face is for. |
The fear of enemies now informs our decision. Lovely. Really it depends. There is no fast and hard rule, but 2 weeks before your wedding, you are damn lucky Nigerians are impulsive people. We do not have fixed appointments and busy schedule. |
