Empty? How na? |
Nah. They will not buy nairaland off. Instead if they get serious about Nigeria their best approach will be to come for seun himself. |
In one sentence: THE LOVE OF THE FATHER. |
I don't get the reason for this thread. It is a simple truth. The same way you can say Jesus is in heaven and not on earth. Remember Jesus said He will have to go to heaven, but He was not going to leave them comfortless. He was going to "send" them another comforter. Yes I understand the Holy spirit is a spirit and since He is God He is omnipresent, so why the talk about Him not being in heaven. But those where the words of Jesus I will send. When something is sent it means there is a change in location, |
He had a relapse of Cancer. That has been the reason for the delay. I must have read somewhere that they are planning on dropping his character for the season 2. Nice season, just too much blood and sexuality. But nice watch nonetheless (season 1 of course) |
^^^^ Disappointed. |
Because You are an exception? rite. |
It this a verified research?. |
I know it is an old thread but it contains vital information. The first post is that of seun giving a site a head up (whogobuy.com) and this must be about the same time nairaland was also gaining ground. Many years on, Nairaland is a big boy, whogobuy never really took off. It is the tale of startups in Nigeria and it makes me ask again and again, How is nairaland an exception? |
[s]big hiss, "waste of time" and quietly walks away.[/s] |
Thanks people for the answer. I found a good one on google fusion table. The only problem is that the data is only complete (up to date) for lagos. Cactus:Sure you bet it is but I have not got a "decent" scraping tool. Can someone "dash" me one. Youngichou:Hmmm, Not really. You need a pretty large table. Remember the data covers all street in Nigeria. yawa-ti-de:They still do a good job of sending internation parcel at a pretty cheap price. The act of posting a letter may be lost but there is a whole opportunity for sending goods. |
sayso:Sad but very true. Being in Akure a couple of month and it was not too long before I noticed this sad truth. |
No inquisition is simple proof of the wickedness of man. Religion is something used as an excuse. Why do some security agent personnel love torturing their victim. Human nature. |
^^^^^^ mikeansy:Same thing happened with the Niger Delta militant. Anybody noticed they are now done with kidnapping? They are now a terror group. Ignore them and that is what you will get. |
It is news because around last year the book was debuting various chapter on this forum. This should be in the front page of nairaland. Awesome. I wish I could lay my hand on the book. i bet it will be something. |
^^^^^ more excellent |
Ditch Java, why? My only answer to such pathetic statement is simply, you can never be more right than Google (Android), IBM, Oracle, Spring Source, Hibernate, Apache.org, and the thousands of companies that have built their businesses on Java. |
Does anyone have an idea where i can get a database of postal code for every town in Nigeria. |
If the guys that built this library you use that make you code for less hour do code for less hour like your all, the internet will still be in the 90's. Make no mistake about it, long hours of coding does not equate efficiency, but it certainly equates innovation. Its a great attribute of a programmer, laziness, but it is also the signs of a dying programmer. Contradictons you might say. |
Seems to me like a good question. It is just like asking how do you get your jollof rice to test like the ones in party. We all know the smoke from the firewood is a big factor. So for this mama put stew, maybe the variety of meat, and smoke particularly play a huge role in determining the taste. I sense it is beyond a recipe, because all mama put stew almost taste the same just like all party rice taste same |

First this is the site for the library. http://www.bcltechnologies.com/ . You can also download the sdk from the same site. The current version as stated in the site is 6.2 and it is not free. If you require a free library you can check out itext. Though itext is not easy learning, but you can expect that from a complete pdf library. There is also a pdf library in the apache collection. I have not used that so I can not comment on that. Back to your easypdf library, you can take the downloaded library and unzip it to any directory of your choice. If you are using an IDE (eclipse or Netbeans) simply edit your build path. Add the pdf library to your build path. If you are running your program from the command line, you will need to add this library to your classpath (The same way you added the java/bin i.e javac, java e.t.c) to your classpath. Alternatively you can add the library as an option when you compile and when you run the program. You will need to google this online or someone can help with the exact command. yourprompt> javac YourProgram.java -classpath "path-to-the-library.libraryname.jar" . As an example assume you had unzipped the library to C:/lib and the jar file is easypdf.jar, then you will type the command as below. yourprompt> javac YourProgram.java -cp "C:/lib/easypdf.jar" |
Kobojunkie:Interesting is all i can say. Everybody is a preacher. Best words i heard all week. Thanks |
If nairaland was full of post as this, we all will be better after one hour in nairaland. That is a good move smartweb. I hope Murtala you had company permission to submit this post you did. You are doing the right thing but could get in company trouble for doing it. That said, i am impressed. |
^^^^ Is that true? Learning data structures makes you write more intelligent programmes. In this age of free memory, free CPU, faster and more powerful system, you still believe this university lecture statement. As a programmer one thing you should stay clear of is generalization. |
I guess it is a good thing. Following after the footsteps of Obama |
afrobaby:Am encouraged. Thanks |
First a disclaimer: I am not in any way associated with this site. I don't know if anyone has used this site for sending bulk sms, but i must confess they seem to be good. It is not just their price that got to me, but just about everything. They have a good site design (of course they can do better, but that can be said for most nigerian site). Secondly, their price ( i just had to say this) is very competitive. Now but the very thing that impressed me is their sense of business. They had this facebook thing during the period of the independence celebration, where you could log in to facebook and use their app to send free sms. They also have this great promotion of offering you 5 free sms. Other sms sites offer you one, at best 3, but they pushed it to five. Their customer care is top notch. Most Nigerian business have or use internet in their offices but very few have thought of operating a toll- free line, but these guys somehow are making use of skype to do just that. It is not just a number they actually respond when you call. They reply their email almost imediately. I have not used them for long but i will welcome any other observation I might have missed. smsbag(dot)com |
An observation is called silly. He is not hating the invention or inventers just making a point. Of course you are also entitled to your observation. |
Interesting stuff. Though there is a 10 naira extra charge for other Zones. |
Now there is the war of the marketing department we have been waiting for. Over to glo. |
