Christianity EtcRe: Is Lucifer Called The Daystar? by gozzilla(m): 11:00am On Sep 03, 2010
Was called the daystar. When he fell from Heaven as recorded in Ezekial he lost the right to that. Secondly, when Jesus went to hell and defeated him He took all the power the devil had. The bible actually said "He paralysed him, ". So now in the book of I peter Jesus is called the DayStar.

@Danyl when you need help with you code, the best thing to do is post it. With the code anyone wanting to help will have a good idea of how much will be helping, and how much will be "confusing". So post the code or at least some of it.

ProgrammingRe: Why NET Languages Are Not Better Than Java Languages by gozzilla(m): 8:15am On Aug 26, 2010
http://www.25hoursaday.com/CsharpVsJava.html

Be wise. Don't argue for the sake of knowledge that puffs up. Many of you guys have been placing arguments with parts of the language i am very sure you have not used. Do you realise that most times you use less than 20% of a language, at the most 40%. When you make an argument as a programmer, give us an example. Not necessarily with codes but with say pseudo-codes or a real life example.
Lets stop all this ego trip, it is not helping our nation. If it is not my car is bigger, or my house is larger, it is my wife is younger. The argument is totally irrelevant.

Some thing similar to this was also said by Philip Emeagwali. We sell the ore, crude and stuff to them it comes back with a hefty price tag.

May be her actions lacked finesse and tack, but you can not deny the fact that she just lent her voice to her people's battle. Now the story is headline news because she spoke about it. Beat that for PR

Then clean her up. Why do we always come for simple advice on a public forum. I don't get it. You want her but won't work on her, that is bad?

Chris certainly is my answer. Never mind that the kids  have no love for him. Never mind that he has not made a commitment to a long relationship. You know one that leads to the altar. Some of my friends tell me i am making a mistake. Why will nobody see what i see. Or is it me?

FamilyRe: Pains Over My Sister’s Pregnancy For My Husband… by gozzilla(m): 8:48am On Aug 13, 2010
Fight for your man. The intent was to hurt you. You should draw strength from that and just love him through this. You guys can leave the town for a while go somewhere and find peace for the both of you. Sure, the problem will not go away but in time the pain will lessen. And please remember to love that child no matter what.
PoliticsRe: Breakdown Of Inec N87.7 Billion Budget by gozzilla(m): 12:53pm On Aug 11, 2010
paddy_lo:
one proviso they should have attached to this budget is that majority of the items should be sourced from Nigeria

Things like logistics buses and cars should be sourced from innosson Nnewi and PAN Kaduna

It software could be sourced from local IT firms and so on. . .that way it becomes a stimulus for the local economy
cool
That is the thing. The only way to stimulate an economy is to "protect it". Insist on locally made. Where they are not good enough insist on local content or something. But ensure the economy and the workforce gains from any project.

@Kobo "less is more mentality" who ever needs that. My mentality is more. I have more than enough, i am more than enough. I know it. You see but this world ainn''t all about me. Its about the people i need to understand. The situation i need to understand to keep my sanity. I am not trying to tolerate them, hell no, just understanding them. Howbeit i might look ignorant at times but Its the only way to be the best in the world, remember not what your nation can do for you, what you can do for the nation. What can i do with the mess, now what is this mess (a better way of saying what this mess can do for me)

My reply on this thread is what it is, the cost does not justify the solution.

Stop that nonsense please. The NRC has been running since back in the 70's, I believe. We are not starting anything. What we claimed we were doing was improving and modernizing. PLease look into the news on this. It started back during the Yar adua Administration oooo. Trains have been running in Nigeria for at least 30 something years. We are not STARTING  . ,
Typical Kobo. We truly are not starting but we better be starting.

Trains are not about being pretty or ugly. .its about functionality, whats the speed. . how much fast does it go?
Above are trains from SEPTA(philadelphia),and AMTRAK(Federal Govt)
That is the point functionality, people functionality (of course we know this ones wouldn't be flying, not yet) but it will move. It might even run who knows.

Passenger or cargo, the end is that the roads will be helped one way or the other. Seriously i even wish they were cargo ones so all this big truck will not be found in lagos. They will be restricted to a certain route and all. People any progress is progress (of course Kobo has told me otherwise, but i don't know yet).
Christianity EtcRe: Is Everyone Born With Original Sin? by gozzilla(m): 3:51pm On Aug 10, 2010
When i saw your post i smiled. The tears of a man should not be confused with the tears of a child. For where a child will cry for anything a man will cry for one thing.
Jesus was not trying to be brave. He was not dying for just a cause. He was dying for the world. He left all He was, the bible said He had been with the Father from the beginning. You can not imagine the pain of separation He experienced. His tears or "unwillingness" serves to remind us of the burden of the cross. I like the way the Jews said it, He saved others lets see how He will save Himself. Then you begin to understand it was more than an "unwillingness". Remember He died as a man. The burden simply broke Him.

This should help you understand why Paul said we were bought with a price. Not a sacrifice, a price. And truly He was the price for all man that will believe in Him. That is why i love Him.

What is the essence of finger thumbing, like you called it, if you can not do secured verification and prevent multiple registration of the fingers?
I meant that when i registered i put my thumb in ink and pressed it against a voters card - that is finger thumbing - (e fit no dey dictionary sha)

Biometric. Is it really as fail proof as you think? Think again.

This
Kobojunkie:
Was the last software really biometrics enabled? I don't remember that being the case. But yeah, it should throw out duplicate data but is it the case that data was duplicated? Or was it that finger prints were obtained but false names inputted?
You are right it wasn't. It was just finger thumbing.

The fact is that data can always be manipulated. Biometric or no biometric, if the human element in the loop wishes to "tamper" with it. That is the whole argument against the billions for the software upgrade. Work with what you have make the changes necessary. But work on ensuring the human element is not manipulated. How? I don't know o!
