First of all, whatever coil they are going to use won't be original copper, so power can't be like follow come. This should be possible only if coil has been tampered with or is not genuine. Many of those technicians do guess work. There's no way a small engine can deliver bigger power not meant for it. It's just like trying to convert a 2 storey building to 4 with same foundation

Its fuel efficient. Price should start from around 80k. So long you buy from Thermocool showrooms, there no need to be afraid of buying a fake.

Just curious, what's the price of each generator? A generator of this size has no business with fuel efficiency, it is made to drink fuel. What's the power of your borehole, you may not need such large generator.

Around 4 kva should be good since you didn't state if the AC is inverter type.

There's no direct conversion for this. The HP is the mechanical power of the engine while the kva is the electrical power from the coil. It's a complex process. You can have two machines with same HP but different KVA because of some other factors like difference in the number of turns on the coils. An example is the Sumec 3000E2 and the ECO3990 both with 6.5Hp engine but different kvas.
What you should do is look on the generator, the power is normally written on it.

Bought it yesterday at 168k, the engineer didn't price well as their headoffuce quoted 145K. The E3000E2.

Min Kva is 2.5 max is 2.8kva anything else is a fake.

I hope they didn't write 2.5kva anywhere, otherwise na fake. So you know, KVA is not equal to KW. If 2.8kW and 2.5kw are written, then no wahala because 1kw=1000w.

240V in Nigeria is the same anywhere in the world. You either operate with 220V or 120V, there's no other. By the way, a simple Google search is on the screenshot.
Why do you think it's a German generator? Even if it is, are you certain it's original? How much did you buy it and what's the power rating?

Modified : its also possible the generator is a 3 phase generator, if that's the case, you can get such high voltages of over 300V but only on the red socket. Check if the voltage on the blue socket is less.

Price should start from 160k. It is 2800W (3.5kva) starting power and 2500(3.125KVa) running power.

300V is still too high, it should be from 220-230V. The flickering should be from your AVR, I think it's bad or getting bad.

What do you mean by change of sound? Is it the like one second change in sound immediately you turn on the freezer or its sustained? If it's just one second, it's normal even for bigger generators, because compressors use way more than their rated power for start up.

Firman or Thermocool. Buy firman from accredited dealers or from Firman flagship stores and Thermocool from Thermocool showrooms only.

What's the wattage of the pressing iron? Should be looking at generators of 3000W up.

After like 30min to 1 hour running my gen would go off. It would start by becoming loud and it is like the speed also increases, this happens like 3-7 before the gen goes off.

When I noticed the second that the gen would go off, I off my TV, the Gen wouldn't go off again. sound would go back to normal within seconds, then I on the TV back. Within 5 or so minutes it would start again most likely this time around would go off even after taking the load down.

And if I turn it off voluntarily it doesn't stop the way it is supposed to. Normally it rolls but comes to a stop gradually. In my case it just stop. And some times it behaves like there is no fuel then after some while it stop.

I took it to a mechanic, he said the sound is normal and gen is okay. That It is the pistil that doesn't allow engine oil to go around it. This has been happening the last 4 times I tried using it.

Can you tell what could be the problem please, maybe the mechanic doesn't know the problem.

Its not misleading, it's better to avoid those phones for now, you are among the lucky ones for now.

Its not settings, the repairer messed up with the hardware. Take it back to him as suggested, should be antenna issue.

Sound proof generators in Nigeria are usually diesel generators, I believe you know a little about diesel generators. Inverter generators are not sold here in Nigeria. They can cost thrice the amount of equivalent normal generators, that's not including shipping cost if you intend to bring one down here.
