Noise is normal, same like other brands you know of. At least you can confirm from the posted who just bought his.

You should have asked before buying. This will power more than thrice the load you stated. What it can power is attached to the tank, check it.

Thanks for your reply, I don't have to tilt the gen to use the fuel. It's enough to flow on it's own you get? And this started recently since I started filling up the tank. Before, I'd just get 1k fuel and it'd completely drain it.
When this happened yesterday, I turned it on again and it went on for like 30 mins before turning off again

Also I was wondering if optima has a timer function? Maybe I mistakenly set it or something. Does it?

There's no timer function, the time there is just running time and total run time. Since you said it just started, it's possible you have had adulterated fuel (maybe there's water in the tank) or there's blockage already preventing enough fuel from getting to the carburetor when fuel level is low.

I got a sumec firman replacement unit. The seller and the technician both claimed it’s original. it fluctuates a bit when i turn on my AC. It’s not really significant but i am still observing. Should I be worried?

So long it's original you have nothing to worry about.

Please, My thermocool Oga6800es output voltage has been gradually going up for some time now. It’s presently howering at about 267-272 volts and I am scared of turning on most of my electronics. Does anyone have an idea of how best to troubleshoot this issue.

Did you just get it? Does it ever return down or it increases by usage? You should have the AVR checked.

be happy you still have a good generator. The carburetor will hardly develop issues as sludge from the tank and petrol won't be flowing into it

Its not up to 2 litres, that's how it is, it's to prevent dirt from getting into the carburetor. Don't attempt to tilt it to use up the fuel.

I have a 2.3 watts starting watts generator. The generator is not original elepaq. It was clear to me after I bought it 2 years ago. I have a 1hp non inverter AC which uses 1000watts. I was told severally that 2.3watts will power 1hp AC. Even whan I went to Haier themocool office they told me it will power it and that I should try it first. I didn't bother trying it for the fact that it's not original elepaq generator and the AC is not inverter

But there to power problem we are having I am so tempted to try it. Mind you I once used a 1000watts pressing iron on the generator but the sound increase greatly. Also my 100watts fridge make the guy make same noise this is why I haven't tried it. The Haier themocool guy told me sounds increase does not matter that once you give it load it big load it will makes load sounds.

Don't try it oooo. Some ACs use more than twice their rated power for start up. As for the pressing iron, na better wear dey take place once you use it like that. For the change in noise, yes, it's normal for the noise to change as load increases. See this screenshot I got from Thermocool website.

I use this generator, It was serviced before I was gifted seven months ago, it doesn't give me issue each time I start it and I regularly change its oil and spark plug.

However, I notice that the oil licks (from the picture uploaded) maybe due to over float and another thing is that it makes so much noise.

What can you advise I do in order to reduce the noise and oil leakage?

I don't think there's much you can do about the oil leakage and noise especially, this generator don work im money.

D voltage goes up n down. I normally change d oil when it acts like this and it works well

This habit causes your engine to wear faster than normal, who knows if this has led to damages that results in oil leakages. Check the oil level before changing it just to be clear.

pls how long should one use engine oil before changing? I only use it 3-4 hours a day? I just observe now that my gen is kind of jerking as if d fuel is finish and it is not. D voltage goes up n down. I normally change d oil when it acts like this and it works well but it is not even up to two months I changed it.

If you use your generator this way everyday, then it's advisable to change oil between every 2 - 3 weeks. Start by changing the oil now, it is already too old.

You need to check the power of the speaker(s) first, then how many bulbs are you talking about and how many watts? Are you not going to use an amplifier? What's the power of each item?

Even the rep does not know the difference between KVA and KW. You didn't even need to chat her up, go with what's written on your generator. Many information on many websites are misleading.

It's a perfect With your load, one litre of fuel should run for almost 3hours.

Battery is probably flat. Use another cord/ charger to charge it, your cord might be faulty too.
