This RN4X has a unique feature that's hardly seen in a lot of phones, it doesn't get hot at all from prolonged usage. You can hold this phone with 3g/4g on for hours and still it will be cool. Thanks to the power efficient SND625 SoC.
You are very correct cheesy.

Phones › Re: Between Quadcore And Octacore by Gptech(m): 7:15am On Apr 30, 2017
Mckandre:
This is petty, an octa core processor doesn't mean chipset will perform better than a quad core. this whole thing boils down to the chipset optimization and arrangement.
To complicate everything further, the architecture and capabilities of these cores might not be the same. Another thing to note; when it comes to clock speed, it is the GHz speed number given next to each processor. The higher the clock speed the faster the core can complete a given task. U myt be thinking that a deca-core processor like mtk helio x20 is pretty powerful, that ain't right . However, most smartphone functions and apps are single-threaded, which points out that each app or function can be handled by just one core at a time. Eventually, even if you are playing a heavy game on a deca-core processor equipped phone, only a single core will be used for the task. In that case, a dual-core processor with higher clock speed will be better in terms of performance in comparison to a deca-core processor.
Have u ever wondered why flagship phones maintain the quad core and dualcore chipset such as samsung and iPhone? While MTK is busy adding more cores to their helio series chipsets, its not always about numbers, the chipset optimization and arrangements is all that matters. That's why I like snapdragon chipsets because every resources used is well accounted for.
Well said, I wonder why people like generalising. You can't say an octacore processor is better than a quad-core, but it's safe to say octacore should be better, if both are made of exactly these same processor, similar arrangement, optimised similarly, etc, but even at that you can't even say the octacore will be better, because of other complexities. Those saying octacore is faster, do you mean any octacore from last year was anywhere near the quad-core snapdragon 820/823? No octacore mtk processor could even come close to the hexacore snapdragon 650/652.

Aliexpress useless appeal happened to me again after after waiting for almost six days to get it approved, this is not the first time I will buy things online. Am a regular buyer on Amazon and av never come across this kind of problem. Not that I can't order through people like Protein0 but, sometimes, it's better to do something on ur own if u av time. But despite the fact that I want to do it on my own, my time was wasted. Well thanks to everyone. This is where my xiaomi dream ends. I will add money to the one I have and get myself a better Samsung phone.
You are compelling to laugh hard, even though I have no reason to considering your predicament. What still baffles me is you, still insist on doing it yourself even though you can be helped even within the next 15 mins. Why not allow the help just this once and try next time yourself? Your persistency is praiseworthy though.

@tappgroupng, But really peeps can be funny fa. This dude is basically a techno marketer and is still defending what shouldn't be defended.
Ever since the first time i stumbled on this thread, all i have seen has been a family here. Really never thought people would be united like this, but yes people can and are.
There is no question you ask you won't get an answer to, and if it's assistance you seek, you get it. That's basically all you need.
Basing your argument on setting up shop in Nigeria and also insults from peeps here shows you are childish.
Techno "fans" created a hate thread which backfired, meaning you don't go throwing stones in a glass House and then come running back screaming victimisation.

Also, the brand does not necessarily need an office in Nigeria to sell. Quality speaks volumes and that's what they are offering. If you prefer techno, stick with it, your cup of tea, people who need and deserve better are getting it here.

@protein0, princetom, Fibonacci, noobody, Gptech, dam5reey, please carry on the good work. Going to pick up my note 4 on Wednesday, thanks for your shared knowledge on here.
Congrats in advance jare, you made the right choice!

Ok so I took time to check some specs of redmi 4a, redmi 4x, the redmi note 4 sd, note 4x and redmi 4 pro prime. So far the one with the closest specs to the note 4 is the pro prime cos all the features are exactly the same with the note 4, except the screen size which is 5.0 while the note 4 is 5.5.

I don't see a lot of people on here talking about it. Has anyone bought it or used it, cos that's the one I'm considering buying? Thanks
Also, no lights for capacitive button, that's another difference and a deal breaker for me, otherwise that phone is exactly redmi note 4 sd

Just sync your contact with your email address. Once you register the address on the new device, it will sync your contact to the new device.
If it's a Xiaomi device use Mi Mover(the best), otherwise use Google Drive.

Phones › Re: How Long Can A 5050mah Battery Last You by Gptech(m): 8:39pm On Apr 28, 2017
I think it's better to upload screenshots of screen on time instead of just saying your device lasts for 2 months. A 2000mah battery can actually last for 3 days depending on where way you use it grin. Who will be the first to upload, oya over to me, make I lead by example. Meanwhile, mine is 4100mAh.
