Big sale coming up on ali express on the 27th
Interesting, but the only clear catch there is the mi5, they need to off load mi5 fast to pave way for mi5s. As for the other phones they didn't state the rom. The redmi 3s is not cheap for that price too, they sold for around same price last month.

Bros forget fingerprint joor. Lol
The problem is I can't even get any listing for even $90 for the redmi 4A.
Is it that I don't know how to use Aliexpress huh
I might consider the Redmi 4 if my budget changes somewhat.
What about $93,its the cheapest for now, used to be $87.5.

The battery rating on tech sites are quite good, I bought it for £76 equivalent including £3.65 for P&p .. I have seen it sellers advertise it for $89 on Ali express..If I were you, I will spend a little bit more on top that $100( about $10 to $15) and get the Redmi 4; finger print scanner, and a whooping 4100mah battery..

I have never used Oukitel, but I found out most of the lesser known Chinese brands seem to have issue with quality control.. I have seen it in Umi and Thl phones.. With Xiaomi, at least you know the quality is assured.. The redmi 4a is a excellent phone, but if I were to buy again, I would go for the redmi 4, just for the mammoth battery..
Have you considered redmi 3s? It has those features you mentioned including the mammoth 4100mah battery. Some sellers sell less than $105

..... D phantom 6plus beats the m6 plus in performance...... And camera plus d phantom 6 plus uses a helio x20 vs d helio p10 in the m6plus.... The phantom 6plus has about 2 security in a device iris scanner and fingerprint..... The only place m6plus beats it is with battery
Yea, and maybe build quality, for the camera I can't say but will find it hard to believe until a comparison is done.

Bro, how much is dollar currently?
And can you please walk me through the ordering process. Just a summary pls. I wish to order next teusday. Or do we have anyone that can help in the process? Thanks
Access bank is #325/$ with a monthly limit of $200, while Gtb is #320/$ with a monthly limit of $100. Get Access bank visa card or gtb Master card and ask dem to register the cards for online transactions. If you can get that done, then ordering process is almost done.

I already ordered for it yesterday, I have the casing already, its not as big as you think, very compact for a 6.44 incher. I think Nsonaso has it, he might help you with real time size comparison.

have you ordered this phone from this store before?
Just received two pieces of same phone from same seller, the protection is not glass, just dust protector. You better order for your own glass protector, thank God I already did that.

Thanx for ur response.
More questions please, I'm in lagos surulere to be precise where exactly will i pick it.
2) I want to order for Mi Max is it a good phone?
3) I bank with diamond bank, how much much is there dollar exchange?
1. They ship to the post office nearest to your address
2. Mi max is the best Xiaomi mid range (high mid range) phone. It seats majestically between flagships and mid rangers. It also has the best battery endurance rating of all Xiaomi phones.
3. Diamond bank won't allow foreign transactions except maybe with a domiciliary account which should cost almost twice as what banks like Gtb and Access have to offer using their Visa and Master cards.

Pls if i order from Aliexpress where will i pixk it, and how much will it cost me too pick from thre?
Before you place your order, you should fill up your details, which include your address. You may need to include the post code of your location (you can search that out from the Internet). You are not expected to spend more than #500 for pickup, which of course is for handling.

Nice.... Which particular aliexpress store did you use? Dreami or Mi store? & please do you have experience with geekbuying?
Dreami store, the issue is not with the store, its a general Aliexpress issue. Geekbuying, have not used them for any major purchase but temitimx19 can help here.

Hello, so after I request for visa/Mastercard, I can just continue to online shopping or is there any other thing? Someone was telling me that I can't make purchases above $100.please can you confirm
Tell them to register your ATM for Internet transactions.
I actually ordered for redmi note 3 pro 16gig version on the 1st and 2nd of this month respectively, both cost over $100 each. But trying to order for a phone of about $180 has been hectic, the order has been closed twice now. I think its an issue that has to do with Aliexpress confirmation your details.

Pls guys is this the best time to place order from aliexpress considering that we are approaching the Xmas season.
I think if you place now you are still safe depending on the seller. Dreami store has so far been effective.

The redmi note 4 prime is the snapdragon version of the redmi note 4. Based on online reports, they are planning to release this particular version for the Indian market only..

Which is plausible, as mtk devices aren't allowed in the Indian market, at least, based on what i have been told...

You could check Google as well..
Didn't even notice the error, true all redmi note 4 no matter the naming run mediatek x20 chipset. Thanks toluwanimi07 for pointing that out.

It seems you didn't read my initial posts. You cannot disable them. Xiaomi have a default music app, why include Google music app? They also have a stock browser, why add chrome which is much heavier than the stock browser? Who uses Google hangout? It has since been phased out by Google and replaced with Google allo.

Funny enough, all these Google apps are available on playstore , whoever needs them can easily go there and download them.

How these apps enhance the user experience of the miui is what I'm yet to understand.

No wonder the Chinese roms perform better than the global rom in terms of system stability and battery life, because the Chinese rom by default does not come pre-installed with these bloatwares.

Any third-party app that is forced on the end-user is a bloatware.

PS. Motorola phones don't come with bloatwares.
Understand you perfectly, I knew you would refer to moto, we all know that Motorola uses almost stock Android.

You are right. Unused ram is wasted. But my issue is using my free ram for useless bloatwares ( like Google hangout or Google music). Mind you, there are ten of such Google apps which I don't use and they have serious negative impact on my battery life. Even stock Android allows you to disable of freeze such apps. LOL
I understand you bro, if those 10 apps are such trouble to your battery , disable their background activities. Indeed this is a case of different strokes for different folks. What is bloatware to you might be very important to others, in fact your most important app might be bloatware to me. As far as Xiaomi are concerned right now, what you call bloatwares are important part of miui, just like the stock miui music app, don't expect them to let you uninstall them. If you really are so keen on getting rid of them, you use the backdoor (root). All manufacturers does what Xiaomi does regarding what you call bloatwares. I wonder why mostly it is users of Android phones that complain of bloatwares, Apple users would rather call them features. grin

Very true... Though i still doubt it though.. They may want to shift to the latest mediatek chipset and hence push up from snapdragon 625 to its 821 model..

Read somewhere though that they would be releasing a snapdragon version for the redmi note 4 and hence call it redmi note 4 pro prime.. This would be shipped for the India market.

It gonna be coming with 4gb ram whilst maintaining the note 3 pro's snapdragon 625 chipset.. With all other things remaining the same as is seen on the redmi note 4 pro
If the info is correct, I may have found a proper replacement for my redmi note 2 cheesy

Updated last week. Heating reduced a bit but persistent battery drain since 8.0.1.0

Miui 7 was designed around lollipop, that was why till date 7.5.3.0 remains the best miui version for rn3.

Similarly, miui 8 was designed based on Marshmallow. That was why MI 5 and other devices that came shipped with MM rom seems to be better stable.

Finally miui 9 will be based on Android N. Most likely, their next flagship phone will come shipped with android N.

I won't make the mistake of updating my phone from miui 8 MM to Miui 9 MM, unless android N is released.

But above all, they need to sort out this ram management and battery drain issue. Ten Google applications are running in the background and an attempt to disable them will bootloop your phone
Don't know where you got the analogy from, but again your opinion. Redmi note 2 came with miui 6 and Lollipop out of the box, but the best miui for me so far has been miui 8.
Regarding ram management you are correct, but unused ram is wasted ram don't forget that. I know a lot of phones with plenty of free ram, even almost double mine that can't dream of half the multitasking ability mine possess. Yes miui uses lot of ram but the big question is does it affect performance? Watch reviews on you tube and check antutu and see how Xiaomi flagship outsmart many rivals out there performance wise. So in the end one might really be tempted to ask what devices like the One Plus 3 does with their much available ram.
