Tinubu capitalises on Fashola and Ambode's efforts to develop Lagos State while Shettima is using Gov. Zulum's projects in Borno State.
Many of the projects in Lagos State BAT campaign team uses to campaign for BAT were not developed by Bola Tiinubu. That's the same campaign template Shettima wants to also use. Then, Obi should use his own or that of Obiano/Soludo. Is that too hard again? |

I think he deliberately allowed his wife to become a 'Christian' and get ordained as a 'pastor' for political reasons. The funny thing is this, it surprises other tribes when the Igbo pay back insult with insult. A lot of negative propaganda has been going on against the Igbo for ages in Nigeria, it becomes almost amusing to see those using those propaganda feeling insulted when the same propaganda is shoved at their faces.
We have a lot of hypocrites in Nigeria who are determined to find a reason to hate, ironically it is easy to find a reason to hate. WhatCanIsay: Some few days ago, a Yoruba guy from Ekiti State created a thread against his Yoruba people it was pulled down within hours. The Yoruba guy is an ardent supporter of Tinubu who was full of anger that Osun people voted against APC, thereby thwarting the wishes of Tinubu.
His post was against the narrative which seems to be institutionalised on Nairaland; Yoruba should be angry only at the Igbo person. He failed to rope in Igbos in his tirade, that seemed to be the only Nairaland offence the young man committed. By the way I'm for it getting pulled down.
After that post, we have seen more than 10 different posts solely targeted on the Igbos, threads full of hatred and misinformation about the Igbo people. Those threads are flourishing and getting constantly watered. They use the narrative that Yorubas should solely vote for Tinubu, that it amounts to "treason" to go against that wish. Hateful words are bandied around to make such points, but we don't see them pulled down.
Is it that such anti-Igbo narratives are sanctioned on Nairaland? Is it one of the aims of creating this forum, or is what it is evolving to become?
If I may ask, is there anything wrong in a Yoruba person voting an Igbo person? Is it against the Yoruba culture and tradition to specifically vote for an Igbo man? If it is so, does such culture allow Igbo to vote Yoruba? I ask the last question because Igbo as a political entity has voted en bloc for Yoruba persons in the past. We even voted against our own people in the spirit of discernment and doing the right thing for the Nation.
Why then should a lot of Yorubas on Nairaland heap curses on their brothers for campaigning for Peter Obi? Is it part of the Yoruba enlightenment?
We as a nation ought to have passed using the agbero methodology for national politics. Nairaland as a major forum in Nigeria shouldn't only be the embodiment of what is wrong in Nigeria polity, it should try to at least bring a positive change, even if it's minuscule.
Cc. Seun To be honest, it is you guys that is gas lighting everywhere with tribal sentiment, regional instigations and endless mirage of provocative political bigotries. You should be preaching to yourself more than dragging others into your conundrum. |

Politics › Re: Why Tinubu Sponsored Unknown Gunmen In Southeast by gr8ofnnetwork(m): 3:58pm On Jul 11, 2022 |
franchasofficia: Tinubu started preparing his emergence as President a very long time ago.
You may think Tinubu is an old weak politician, but just like the lion, just like the King Cobra, even its dead body is as dangerous as live python.
IPOB via Nnamdi Kanu created ESN to stop Fulani herdsmen terrorists from killing Igbo farmers in their farms unchallenged. The real ESN were focused on this project when Ikonso was their leader and they succeeded until Hope Uzodinma used all state security aparatus with help from Abuja to crush Ikonso thereby breaking ESN command and causing commotion among the ESN camp.
It was after Ikonso's death that Hope Uzodinma infiltrated ESN as a means of destroying them because they were putting assunder between him and the Fulanis controlling Abuja that installed him as he banked heavily on the same Abuja mercenaries to return him after his first tenure, so Hope Uzodinma needed to please the Fulani power brokers by showing unmerited love to Fulani herdsmen in Imo whom he invited to make Orlu his hometown their second home.
This was what made Orlu the hotbed of ESN vs different Nigerian security battle as they turned Orlu to their battlefield.
How & Why Did Tinubu Come in?
Tinubu examined the situation after Buhari invited Umahi to join APC and made a verbal promise to Umahi that he was fit to succeed him in 2023. Other APC chieftains in SE became envious of Umahi because Umahi started enjoying Buhari's undivided attention.
With the growing popularity of Umahi and his admiration by the North, and the EndSars saga plus the Yoruba Nation agitation that took a high tempo some months back, Tinubu knew that the political trust Northerners had for Southwest was fast declining and he needed to do something very urgent to stop this.
Again, Tinubu saw that political closeness and romance between Umahi and Buhari as a big danger ahead of his 2023 ambition, so he came up with an idea to infiltrate the trending UGM in the Southeast as a way of demarketing the entire Southeast before the Northern peoples eyes by making sure UGM killings became a daily occurrence that gradually spread to the killings and attack on Hausa-Fulanis in the Southeast.
That was how he stepped in to infiltrate UGM and use them to demarket the entire East and to also cause voter apathy in the southeast come 2023.
Who Did They Hire for The Job to Recruit The UGM?
Asari Dokubo!
Haven't you wondered why the daily UGM killings in the Southeast died down just after APC Presidential Primaries?
It is so unfortunate that the current class of Southeast Politicians are so dumb that they hardly spend time and resources on intelligence gathering and investigation.
In case you guys don't know, the low voter registration in the Southeast is all part of the game.
I have been spending money and time engaging people to get Igbos in Southeast to register for PVC and the reports I have been getting from my crusaders on ground is heartbreaking.
INEC is intentionally disenfranchising Igbos from voting in 2023 by deploying very few registration machines to the southeast.
Imagine one machine a whole local government of over 200,000 people and having over 2,000 people queue from morning till evening waiting to be registered using just one machine in a whole LGA.
This is happening in almost all LGAs in Imo State.
Youths are lamenting and crying already still Igbo politicians in leadership aren't doing anything about this, no media outburst to expose this evil plans of the INEC, is it after the election is over that they will start crying?
Shouting Obidient online without PVC can never win Peter Obi the 2023 election.
Igbos are never minority in Nigeria, in fact, FBI secret document at a time showed that Igbos are the second largest tribe in Nigeria if you factor in Igbos in today Niger Delta and some in some communities in Middle Belt States yet when you look at the INEC figures of registered voters, it makes it look like Igbos are less in number when compared to Kanuri or even Idoma.
Igbos and Igbo politicians should wake up before it becomes too late.
Even Igbos that applied for polling unit transfer online are finding it difficult to get their application approved.
There is trouble looming in Nigeria.
They know that only Igbos are the only fearless and true defenders of Christianity in Nigeria and that's why they focused on taking out Igbos first before weeding out the others who are just a walk over for them.
Dear Igbos wake up.
Share this post so other Igbos can be enlightened. If only you can honour DSS invitation, your life would have been better and your imagination would have been studied in Harvard and frivolousness an headline for CNN and BBC |

Politics › Re: Why Peter Obi Becoming President Will Be A Very Bad Thing For Igbos by gr8ofnnetwork(m): 11:59pm On Jul 02, 2022 |
gidgiddy: I have always said that Peter Obi is eminently qualified to be President. I have my own issues with Peter Obi but I can never deny the fact that overall, the man did well when he was Governor of my state Anambra. He is a good candidate for President. Personally, I dont think Peter Obi can win the Presidency, nobody in the North will vote for him, no matter how good a candidate he is. Being both Igbo and a Christian has ruled him out in the North.
But in the unlikely scenario that Obi wins, it will be a very bad thing for us Igbos.
If you wonder why, then think of what happened to the last Igbo man who was President of Nigeria. A military revolution resulted in General Ironsi becoming the first Nigerian to be head of state, and commander of the armed forces(before, both offices were seperate). From the day Ironsi became President, his government was sabotaged. There were some power blocs in Nigeria that could not sleep at night knowing that an Igbo man was head of state and commander in Chief. They lied against Ironsi, plotted against him, misquoted him at every opportunity, used propaganda against him, claimed that everything Ironsi did was for the benefit of Igbos, painted his administration black. They even massacred Igbos during Ironsi's regime. When the time was right, they took out Ironsi. To this day, they still lie against Ironsi and claim he abolished Regionalism introduced unitary rule, something that everyone knows Gowon did. They say this because they need to blame Igbos for Nigerias woes, yet no Igbo has been President since Ironsi, 55 years ago
Should Peter Obi become President, what happened to Ironsi will happen to him. There are some people who will not be able to sleep at night knowing that an Igbo man is in Aso Rock. Obi's government will be sabotaged from day one, he will be misquoted at every opportunity, they will unleash propaganda against him, reduce everything he does to trying to benefit Igbos, paint his administration black, and try to take him out. Obi will spend 4 years fighting forces that have entrenched themselves in all strata of government for over 50 years
The resultant effect is that his government will fail, Igbos will be blamed, ostracised and masacared. Many Igbos still dont understand the Nigeria they belong to. It is one where the power blocs dont trust an Igbo man with the Presidency, are highly suspicious of the Igbo man, and they want to see the Igbo man fail politically
A Peter Obi Presidency will be very bad for Igbos. What the Igbo nation should be talking about is independence from the failed British colonial contraption called Nigeria. It will not be a good thing for the Igbo nation, for Peter Obi or any Igbo man to be President of Nigera. If the 30,000 Igbos slaughtered after Ironsi was killed, were alive today, they would say the same To be honest with you, this is the second time I have course to support Biafra call for independence. First: After Reading the book: There Was A Country by Chinua Achebe. Second: After this your posts. In the the wake of Operation Python Dance I somehow wish the Igbo leaders could have done more, but till date they failed woefully to formally take the lead in the call for referendum and autonomy. Ibos should not stay any longer if Nigeria State cannot CELEBRATE them with Leadership instead of the pseudo political tolerance with resistance they are faced with today. It is absolutely unfair. The trauma is too much and beyond comprehension |
