When a grown human being, expects you to hold his hands to cross the road, spoonfeed him, wash his back, wash his face.......

It is expected he would soon seek our tool, for the oza room acrobatics.....

My own cutlass, get only one face...... cheesy
Kai.... uncle, take it easy na.

But we NHS heroes do all that na and more.

Mummies in the house,
My baby is almost 6 months old. Gave birth early November and my period came back January and it’s been regular since then and I always see it at early in the month. I haven’t seen my period this April that’s ending now. Last time I saw it was early March. I’m worried I don’t want to be pregnant. I’ve done the home pregnancy test 4 times and it’s negative. Yet no period till now.
Should I be worried. Today is 25th
Teamie teamie from November

My period never even return. Just wait it out and repeat home PT again.

Hello Mummies,

Please, what can I use to cure the rashes on my two weeks old baby.

Please, don't read and pass. Abeg!
New born skin act funny sometimes , could be milk reaction or withdrawal of maternal hormone from baby. I would suggest you leave it, it will clear. My baby’s face was worse at that age. I was told to leave it. It did clear and now she has the healthiest skin ever

Hello all

Please is it normal for a one month baby to not stool for three days?

She is exclusively breastfed and my diet is normal. Nothing out of the ordinary, rice, beans yam, semo etc. She used to poo every single day before at least twice a day and suddenly she stopped but she farts a lot instead.

Is this normal? Has anyone experienced something like it before?
Nothing to worry about since you are exclusively breastfeeding. We once went about a week no poop

Please is it ok to give glucose mixed in water to a 3 day old baby, mothers breast is not flowing she has started taking pap to enhance it though.
Why not get baby formulae and feed baby till mom starts lactating. In the meantime, mom should continue putting baby to breast as the suckling reflex stimulates the brain to produce milk

Everything just they tire me this days

I needed my mum to be around me since this is my first issue and because of lockdown she can't make it...I am so sad... Who will help me and bath him. U know new borns are so fragile
You will be just fine. Maternal instincts and your desire to do the best for your baby makes you able to do all things. I was all by myself when I had my daughter. Hubby was even in a different country, no mama, papa or aunty, just me and my baby plus I even had a second degree tear, but I did just fine. So don’t worry, just be excited about meeting your LO

Hello,

I hope you are well.

I tried to use Azimo for a transfer and I’ve been asked to upload a proof of ID. Do I have anything to worry about doing this and would I have to upload it once or for every transaction?

Cheers
I use Azimo and haven’t had any need to worry. You don’t upload proof of ID for every transaction

Do HCA even qualify for the one year visa extension recently announced? huh
Visa extension?? What type of visa ?? I don’t think they qualify for any sort of visa except may be spouse visas or PBS dependant visas. So they get extension on the basis of their spouse....

Don't get me wrong, i know their importance. I am saying Ruth, during the press conference, did not even mention the dead Hca's....... She only mentioned the 2 RGN's...
No, I understood what you meant. The media acting like the HCAs are not important. A colleague just sent me a picture of a HCA that passed away from this nonsense.

Unfortunately, it seems they are not relevant in this Covid19 fight/war.......
We are all part of the NHS.... the cleaners, house keepers porters etc. We all have families and loved ones. We are all important. In fact, you may not realise the importance of the HCA till you are on a 12hour shift and you are short of one

Well for me, I don't believe in all these take watery pap, tea blah blah(they are all in the category of liquid) just take the right portion of meal and stay hydrated. Shikena.
Before i breast feed, finish a sachet of pure water and as soon as am done, I take another sachet.
I don't know if you have noticed, once your done bfeeding you feel sort of dehydrated.
All these eat eat eat makes one add unnecessarily

My baby is 7 months and she hardly takes anything, if you try force feeding, she throws everything out.The highest she can take is 30ml once a day. Yet when she been carried, I get compliments "wow what's she taking, she heavy", and i get shocked cos I know it's 95% breast milk, but me am so tired...
The panic shopping made me so confused, I didn't know which milk to stock up embarassed embarassed i just ended taking two brands of milk(4 in number). Lol I think am ranting
Ok..... so these babies don’t want to eat na

My baby turned 5months yesterday, we have been doing exclusive and I just got formula to start her on, this girl has refused my formula. I bring it in a bottle, she will refuse, I bring breast milk in same bottle, she will take. We will continue our exclusive for 1 more month. Q

For me, it’s been such a pleasure and joy.

My Princess is 5months today and every time I look at her, my heart leaps for joy.

With all the bad news and fear around.... I thought to brighten our day

God blessed me with a perfect little girl

My hippocratic oath, did not tell me to fight an AK47 war, with a bread knife..... Or did it?

My employer owes me a duty of care, ensuring that i am adequately protected, while discharging my duties......

The government failed massively in protecting medical practitioners. That tissue paper they call face masks, some trust managers would tell you, you can use one tissue mask for a duration of 4 hours 30 minutes...... Or don't overuse PPE, considering cost vs life.....

It took over 30,000 of us, to sign and send a letter to the PM & Minister of health, before they eventually agreed to ramp up on purchasing of proper PPE's purchasing and agreeing to testing frontline practitioners........

I pity the nurses on the wards, they are looking after suspected COVID19 patients and active COVID19 patients, with surgical gloves + tissue masks + very thin plastic aprons.......

Madam, pls don't get me started..... I don't like typing plenty............
Oh... my friend worked on a COVID ward over the weekend with tissue mask and waterproof apron. Apparently, that’s what the TRUST provides. She went to do agency there. God knows I would turn back and go home.

Please what is the exact description of your own breast pump, am on amazon right now and seeing plenty types of hakaa . Does it just glue to the breast and pumps on its own?? Thank you...
This is the exact one I have

You just place it over the breast, squeeze, it creates a negative pressure which helps it stick and just collects milk on own. It is the most passive way to pump milk

Where did you get yours? Picture and price if possible. Thanks
I use Hakaa too and this is how much I get from a single feed especially first feed of the day

I have an electric breast pump that I had real struggle with. The suctioning was causing me so much pain yet I wasn’t getting a decent amount of milk. Thankfully, I came across a YouTube video that mentioned hakaa and I ordered one. I would say it’s one of the best things I have at the moment
