Please what is the work of Police PRO? Each time there is an issue that requires their comments they always find one escape route or the other!!! |
Does the governor have such power? If yes under what conditions? |
"I assure you that the law will take its course." Buhari. He couldn't have said it better. Unfortunately, some people comments without reading. What a generation!!! |
The problem is not our judicial system but police investigation. If prosecutor cannot prove the case beyond reasonable doubt then the judge is handicapped. If we can get our investigation right then I believe things will fall in the right place. |
I knew from onset that their grievances were based on the proposed scraping of post UTME . Tell me of what relevance is post UTME other than extortion of admission seekers. In my opinion, Nigerian lecturers are worse than politicians. Mind u they have been accused and found guilty of the crime politicians have committed in Nigeria. When I gained university admission years back, acceptance fee was zero naira. Before u knew it vice Chancellors met and they decided to charge various sum as acceptance fees; quite absurd. It gets so bad that people pay as much as 50k as acceptance fees. If u need to raise money, are u not supposed to be sensible with it? I agree that the educational sector require urgent funding and there is a way not to go about it and obviously the presidency has done what needed to be done in that area. |
Does this accuser know the meaning of 3 trillion naira? I doubt if he does? And if the the accusation were to be true; of what use is the current government (represented by the accuser) if it cannot recover the state fund in the individual account of past government officials. If there is anything this accusation has shown; it is the irresponsibility of the Wike led government to act when expected!!! If in eight years, Ameachi wasted 4 billion naira meant for agriculture and you in less than two years you have wasted 2 billion naira. I guess if your administration is to spend eight you would have wasted nothing less than 8 billion naira along agriculture funding. Do the same maths for the 3 trillion and compare. I don't know how some people on this forum just get carried away by whatever politicians say. What is the essence of this accusation if don't have any documented evidence to prosecute him. Afterall Ameachi no get immunity again. |
Was the case of threat established? Did he present any credible evidence to show that he was actually threatened? All these baby lawyers who are just seeking relevance at the expense of the people's should be made to account for their deeds. How can you just come and waste people's time if you have nothing credible to say. The lawyer needs to be charged for wasting valuable time and resources of our president and that of the judge. |
How much did he invest? Is he able to justify the source of the fund he invested? It is not enough that government should say the man is not culpable, they should put all the card on the table for us to know how they arrive at such conclusion. Moreover, I think the investigation will better be handled by EFCC or is our military trained along that line too? I don't think so!!! |
I vote Mimzy Cc; NLjega |
No cause for alarm! While the businesses were up and running they could not pay their indebtedness. Govt is only helping the senator to reduce his headache. With the companies seized, his worries will be less. My thought though! |
So you are yet to release it! Craze dey worry una! When you suppose give us link to the video. Nigerian press should stop patronizing stories like this. If you have any video to post, abeg post with immediate effect otherwise be quiet until Dansuki rot in Jail!!! |
This is one thing i don't like about this man. For your information, this problem had been in existence before you assumed office. Are u so blinded by the gain of the office that you don't realise that to whom much is given much is expected. Please Mr Minister, I have never believe in your capability but i want you to prove me wrong. Please get to work and stop ranting!!!! Everybody knows the problem, and if you don't have the mental capacity to fix it please resign and stop insulting us. God bless the good people of Nigeria. |
Good job at OP. Let's team up to rid Nigeria of his kinds. Other blogger should please rebroadcast. I know very soon he will come up with his own version of the story. I believe strongly that he is already feeling the heat. He is possibly looking for explanations that will sell. |
"Let it be on record, yes, that there was a time the Minister wrote a letter to the National Assembly, not even to the entire National Assembly but to the Committee on Transport which I belong to on the issue,” adding that such a move does not remove the fact that the project was not included in the national budget." What is the content of this letter. If u are sure you have a case then prove it beyond all reasonable doubts. I wonder how all these talkative get to this elevated position. If this man has nothing to say, he should just keep quiet rather than confusing us the more. |
Emirates 24|7 has earlier reported two of the UAE's and world's biggest airlines – Dubai-based Emirates airline and Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways – are on a hiring spree in April. Etihad will conduct assessment days in Abu Dhabi on April 17th and 24th. Click here for other dates around the globe. So if you are aiming to fly high on assessment day you need to impress your interviewers. Ms Jabery, a former Etihad flight attendant, recalls her assessment day and says, "One needs to stand out from the hundreds of candidates who come for interview, and soon be on your way to your dream cabin crew career." On Time She gives us an insight about the art of making a good first impression and says, "First and foremost - don't be late. Get to the assessment centre early if needed and soak in the atmosphere. Get yourself accustomed while the room will be filled with prospective colleagues. No point running out of time and stressing on the big day. "Make sure you look professional. This is crucial, as potential crew are judged on appearance and those first five seconds of meeting the recruitment team are essential for making a good impression." Skirt/Suit "Do not turn up in your national dress and maintain decency. Do not reveal," says Jabery. On the assessment day, you should always wear a skirt suit. A skirt is feminine and in most cases a compulsory part of the uniform. Do not go too short or too long, aim for the middle of your knee as the minimum length and half of your calf as the maximum length. Also keep in mind that the group activities might require you to do some physical work, if you have to crouch down, you need to make sure that it all stays decent. Your jacket should be fitted and elegant. If you prefer, you can wear a business dress and a jacket. Men should go for dark colors such as black, grey, navy or brown and stay away from bright colors or patterned models such as bright green or pink, flowers or animal prints. Iron your clothes - that should not even be mentioned. Shoes Wearing shoes with a high heel will give you a good posture, making you feel taller and more confident. Check that your shoes are shiny, go for a classic style and comfortable shoe to spend many hours wearing. For the safest choices, go with colors such as black, brown, beige, dark grey or navy. Even men should go for dark shoes (black, brown, navy or grey), perfectly polished. No light colors, sport shoes, sandals, boots, high heels, inserts or fashion pieces. Hair A flight attendant always keeps a very neat hairstyle. If you have long hair, tie in in a neat bun at the back of your head and secure it with some pins and a bit of hair spray. If you have a pixie crop, style it neatly. As a rule of thumb, if your hair can reach your shoulders, it should be tied back. For the boys, make sure hair is well groomed and facial hair tidy. If needed spend some time in the salon. The Emirates and Etihad female crew mostly wear their hair tied in a bun. Do a little research and try it out. If you look good, you will feel good and the recruiters will see how well you keep yourself. Makeup Natural colors such as grey and brown work the best. Slight eye-makeup, a bit of blush following the natural contour of your cheeks and as a final touch, a nude or red shade of lipstick. Avoid lip gloss as you will probably eat it during the first hours of the day. A good lipstick looks much more professional. Avoid smoky eyes and metallic shades, as well as too much blush or too much mascara. Both men and women should take care of their manicure and pedicure. Keep your nails clean and of medium length. It is important that men should look after their skin especially because they have to shave before each flight. Make sure you smell good but not over-powering. Accessories Keep accessories minimal - stud diamond or pearl earrings, a delicate necklace, a small watch. Most of the flight attendant will wear a scarf. A delicate silky scarf cannot go wrong on your big day. Men should wear a tie. Go for a simple design and pattern that matches your suit and shirt. Learn how to do a double knot. Approach An Emirates Airlines crew says, "Try and be confident but not over confident. Imagine you already have the cabin crew job, think good thoughts and look the part. Most importantly, smile." A positive, smiley face will make the person you talk to immediately perceive you as friendly, helpful, positive and a person easy to work with. During the day, mix with as many people as you can – smile, talk and be friendly. This will show off your communication skills and ability to work with all kinds of people. You may not see any recruiters there, but believe me, they will be watching you. Be prepared Practice typical airline interview questions and answers so that you will feel prepared for the final interview and do the very best you possibly can. You can find cabin crew interview questions and answers online. During your team tasks, never ever talk over anyone else or put anyone down. Speak appropriately, listen carefully and encourage other team members to join in. http://www.emirates247.com/lifestyle/emirates-etihad-hiring-cabin-crew-how-to-groom-yourself-to-get-selected-2016-04-15-1.627187 |
yomie040:If you have better info, why not share rather than attacking the OP. Not minding the please in front of your request the arrogance display by your initial statement is a turn off. As a farmer that you are, sharing knowledge with the OP will be in the best interest of both of you and all interested parties. My thought though. |
What is the legal implication of this action? I will want someone in the known to please shed more light. Seriously, these Nigerian politicians are just something else. |
'Following the dastardly act, the police in Ojo division arrested two out of the three suspects and charged them before Ojo Magistrates’ Court with conspiracy and unlawful carnal knowledge of the victim" With this kind of charge from the police, then nothing good can come from the case. Personally, I am of the opinion that attempted murder should be included in the charged sheet. But come o, is it a norm that everyone must plead not guilty in Nigeria? |
My only worry is how does this government intend to fund all these projects as mentioned by the VP? |
In addition to those interviewed, I think the ministry of labour needs to take the case of foreigners taking over jobs that are meant for Nigerians more seriously at this trying time. The ministry of labour should look unto this and there should be a way to contact the ministry of labor when employer of labour appears to be compounding the unemployment issues in the country. I think northern states should invest more in agriculture and education rather than all these fields that will not add value to them. |
Not surprised as ExxonMobil used to be the the biggest company in the world. Those claiming is a lie should try and Google the list of the biggest company in the world and also try to find out the likely salary of someone working in that capacity. Apart from "awon omo oju korolari" (Nigerian career politician), it will require patriotism for core professionals to serve this country. |
Na lie! I think they are coming from bank and the man is keeping a large chunk of money in that bag. So for advanced security for his cash, the man must Cary the bag to avoid story that touch! |
Poster heaps all the blame on the marketer forgetting our lazy government officials who are voted into office to solve problems but unfortunately they do not have the mental capacity to solve their personal problems talkless of solving problems of this magnitude. The next thing u will see is that they want to rebuild the market so as to take it from the real marketers and turn themselves (government profiteers) to Landlord. As a.first step, all market should have a means to isolate it from power source. This isolation point should be strategically located close to the gate of themarket and should not be open to all. Individual generator should be discouraged rather a common source of energy should encouraged. Inaddition, I don't know why government still allows market to be roofed with planks. All market should be decked. No roofing at all with wood. Alternatively iron thrushes may be used but a big no to planks. |
So GEJ went to the extent of gagging the press in order to cover his atrocities, and appear as the acclaimed good man, hero of democracy/ some people on Nairaland, he was using the scarce resources of the state to appease those in the known and cover his atrocities. Anyway, if for any reason GEJ could not be prosecuted God will surely require of him the blood of Military and Civilian alike that were killed by the Boko-haram insurgents. Good move the sun, other media houses should please towed this part of honour and make refund quickly. Delay should lead to massive boycott of their paper by the Nigeria populace. But come o, anybody that collected his own share in dollar should refund dollar o, because the way the naira is falling to the dollar is not helping at all. |
BeeBeeOoh:I am so displeased at this comment of yours. It took me very great restraints to caution myself from calling you name. The victims here are Nigerians; Ibo, Yoruba or whatever. The Lagos state government should be made to compensate this people handsomely. I wish we all can speak with one voice to demand justice for the victim of this government high handedness. If democracy fails to protect the interest of the electorates, then of what use is such democracy. I am not saying the area should not be given the face lift as necessary but then the necessary machinery should be put in place to resettle them. |
Really so touching. He felt the pains of the parents of those victims. Unfortunately, majority of the Republican are not seeing the issues. It's like they live in another country. |
What was your motive for this post? Remember what an elder sees while sitting, a small boy will not see it while on top of the Iroko tree. If u have any misgivings about the purchased please discuss with your dad. With that you will be more enlightened and be able to dine with the elders. |
If all u said were to be true; I think the two of u were not ready for marriage! Even now both of you are still not ready. |
I think God loves but you don't seem to realise that. Based on your past, you don't deserve this man! But then God in his infinite mercy has smiled at you by giving you a second chance to show to you His generosity because there is something about you which you yourself does not seem to appreciate. Age wise you are 26, but emotionally and intellectually you are far from that age. I am sorry I have to say that to you. My thought though! What does it take to love? Right on your palm you have the spec that any woman any day will give their whole life to have. Now I believe all is not lost. Appeal to him. Beg him as in beg him real well. Show remorse. Tell him you are sorry that you don't know what came over you. Assure him u never cheated on him and you will not. Please mean it not lying. Moreover I think you need prayer. Not only about this issue I think there is more. Visit this site, it will really be of help. http://www.elishagoodman.org/?p=49741 |
Painful! But them everything happen for a reason. Next time the passport will be kept in better place beyond his or her reach. No beating for the child. Obviously not his fault. |
sadlas:Then the police has a responsibility to prove that and prosecute the wife for such. |
How you dress, is the way you will be addressed! |
