Dygeasy: Am I The Only Nigerian In Nigeria Spending Cross-Over/ Watchnight In Bed Wishing And Praying Inside?
you're not the only one.
I was just too tired to move an inch away from that house. Initially, i planned to go, the service was to start ay 10pm, so, i told hubby that i wanted to have a nap, so, when it was time, he tried to wake me up, i just waved my hand, and he left me saying you even need to rest, you have overworked yourself, i woke up at 20 minutes before midnight and i started praying.
Whether we attended the watchnight service or not, our prayers are already answered, if you believe, say amen.

bluuu: sorry for ur loss.may God comfort u n ur family.Amen.
irony of life.here s a thread for a lost one while d one b4 ds s a thread of a new baby gal
such is life, everyone has his/her appointed time to be born and to die, this is mystery and nothing can be done about it.
From time immemorial, "ibi ti elekun ti nsukun, ibe ni alayo ti nyo".......meaning.........as some are weeping, some are rejoicing, that is irony of life but as christians, the bible admonishes us to weep with those who are weeping and rejoice with those who are rejoicing and that is exactly what we are doing in the two opposite threads.
May God help us all.

O mother, O my mother, you who bare me upon your back, you who gave me suck, you who watched over my first faltering steps, you who were the first to open my eyes to the wonders of the earth, I am thinking of you..

Woman of fields, woman of high respect, woman of the great royal-family, o you my mother, I am thinking of you...

O you, mother, O my mother, you who dried my tears, you who filled my heart with laughter, you who patiently bare with all my many moods, how I should love to be beside you once again, to be a little child beside you!

Woman of great simplicity, woman of great resignation, O my mother I am thinking of you ...

O mother. Mother, you of the great family of the Kings and Queens, my thought are always turning towards you, and your own thoughts accompany me at every step. O mother, my mother, how I should love to be surrounded by your loving warmth again, to be a little child beside you...

Black woman, woman of Africa, O my mother, let me thank you for all that you have done for me, your son, who, though you are so far away from, but in my heart you are still so close to me and am so close to you even if we can't see again
#love you#

Achiles: I got paid my usual salary this morning and u know, is all gone! Funny thing is, I did not buy any tangible thing. I have struggled in recent time to meet all expenses since I got married inspite of the fact that I work in a place where employee remuneration is a bit rewarding. I honestly dont want 2014 to be like this and just dont know what to do. Does anyone have any business idea I could tap from? I mean, only depend on my salary which I have fully strectched since I began my building project in 2012. I need another line of income. somebody help! Is there anyone out there who is passing through the same experience, please share!
business section would be an appropriate place to post this for real helpful hints.
Wishing you goodluck in your endeavour.

FamilyMichelle Obama Wants A Divorce! by greatgod2012(op):
“I’VE had enough!” Furious first lady Michelle Obama hurled those fighting words at her husband after he publicly humiliated her by flirting with a leggy blonde foreign leader at South African icon Nelson Mandela’s memorial service, sources say.
In a bombshell world exclusive, The ENQUIRER has learned that in the wake of the mortifying incident, President Barack Obama and his wife are now sleeping in separate White House bedrooms.
Sources say an enraged Michelle is also preparing to boot her hubby of 21 years out of their ritzy Chicago home – and seriously discussing divorce.
“The smart money says the marriage is doomed,” said a close source.
“Barack and Michelle have had a rocky go for years and mainly stayed together for their daughters and his political career.
“But now Michelle is mad AS hell. She feels violated in front of the whole world, and screamed at him, ‘I’ve had enough!’
“She’s met with divorce lawyers and told Barack that she wants a life apart from him.”
An Oval Office insider added: “Michelle will stay in the White House for the rest of Barack’s term for appearances’ sake, but she made it clear they’ll be leading separate lives.
“She’s moving into one of the vacant bedrooms in the family’s private living quarters, and she’s preparing to move his clothes and personal things out of their million-dollar house in Chicago.”
Sources say Michelle, 49, hit the roof after her lusty hubby was photographed brazenly flirting with Denmark’s dishy female prime minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, during the service for former South African president Mandela.
Obama, 52, laughed and whispered with the 46-year-old Danish beauty throughout the solemn ceremony, at one point cavalierly caressing her shoulder.
The two also playfully snapped a “selfie” photograph together while Michelle shot daggers at them.
The Danish press has dubbed Thorning-Schmidt “Gucci Helle” for her love of designer clothes.
While she lives in Copenhagen, her husband resides in Davos, Switzerland, and the couple’s accountant reportedly said that her husband was “gay or maybe bisexual.”
Obama’s outrageous antics with her made him the butt of international ridicule, with American media outlets going on the attack.
“New York Post” columnist Andrea Peyser blasted: “(Mandela) was a man who Obama compared at the memorial to Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King. And here was the president, publicly behaving as if he was plotting his next hook-up. It was unseemly.
“…Not to be outdone by the president’s bad behavior, the Danish hellcat hiked up her skirt to expose long Scandinavian legs covered by nothing more substantial than sheer black stockings.”
Famed body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass, who evaluated the photographs at The ENQUIRER’s request, was appalled at the president’s behavior. “This was clearly extremely humiliating for the first lady,” Dr. Glass told The ENQUIRER.
“The president effectively ignored her and acted like he and the Danish prime minister were the only two people around. And he did this with the whole world watching.
“The photos show Michelle going through a series of emotions, ranging from shock to anger and extreme jealousy. I think there are many changes occurring in their relationship.”
The president’s staff was also quick to criticize his horn-dog conduct, sources say.
“Barack already had enough headaches with his public approval rating plummeting after the disastrous rollout of his ‘Obamacare’ health plan. Now he’s walked smack into the worst marital crisis of his life,” said the White House insider.
“Behind the scenes, his advisers chewed him out, saying the photographic images of his frat-boy hijinks will haunt him forever.
“On top of that, women voters have bombarded the White House with letters, phone calls and emails expressing sympathy for the first lady and anger at the president.
“Even Obama’s top female advisers and friends like Valerie Jarrett were disappointed with him.”
Sadly for Michelle, the spectacle in South Africa wasn’t the first time the charmer-in-chief has crossed the line with other women.
But the couple’s fight over his behavior with the sexy Danish leader was the worst ever, “and they’ve had some doozies,” said the White House insider.
“Rather than unloading on him in South Africa, where their privacy was not guaranteed, or on Air Force One among other high-ranking dignitaries, including George and Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton, Michelle reserved her fury until they were back in their private quarters in the White House. Then she went ballistic behind closed doors.
“Barack has humiliated Michelle before, but this incident was played out on the world stage. Practically everybody on the planet saw what he did and realized that the president has absolutely no respect for his wife.”
Meanwhile, The ENQUIRER has learned the first couple plans to live nearly 5,000 miles apart when their days at the White House come to an end. Obama reportedly plans to settle in his native Hawaii, where his presidential library and political center will be located. Sources say he’ll live with his longtime pal Bobby Titcomb, who was busted for soliciting a prostitute in 2011.
Michelle will remain in Washington, D.C., until the couple’s youngest daughter Sasha, 12, finishes high school. Daughter Malia, 15, is a high school sophomore.
For now, Michelle is gearing up for a nasty divorce battle. But sources say she’ll most likely wait to slap Barack with divorce papers until after he leaves the Oval Office, when he’ll likely earn more than $30 million in book deals and bank $65 million in appearance fees.
“Now that Barack has embarrassed Michelle in front of the world, he’s going to pay a big, big price,” said the insider. “Michelle has said she wants a huge chunk of his net worth.
“This divorce is going to cost him a fortune.”

Since the woman is always after the life of that man, maybe her brain should be medically examined, she might be suffering from a particular brain disorder, and pending the time she would be ok, let the man be separated from her, lest another attempt be made on his life.

The most painful part of it is that he cant think of what to do by himself. And anytime he is advise of any work he will firstly see all the reasons why it cant work and why he cant do it. Evaluate/examine the realtionship!

@op, i salute your courage to put this up here and your determination to stop the act. May the healing hand of God heal you completely.
Sincerely this your thread is a complete eye opener, i, personally have learnt from it, im even going to show hubby to read it.

As for your question, you already knew what caused yours, what you would have to do is to ensure that you fill all the gap left unfilled by your parents then, so that what happened to you will not happen to your kids.

In addition to Illeobatojo and Chilli's points, i also want to add that male children should have a separate room from their female counterparts, and that both genders should be taught to respect each other's privacy. Boys should learn not to just enter girls' room anyhow and vice versa.

If accidentally, a visitor is to sleep over in your house, a sound warning of how females should be respected and that under no circumstances should a male person be found in female children's room and vice versa should be given firmly and authoritatively.

I always say it, parenthood is a very tasking position, anyone who is not ready to pay the prices should not venture into it.
May God help us all.
