The problem is that, many people are born to be insultive, take this forum as example, don't Nigerians insult fellow Nigeians here? How can you now tell such people not to insult people from other countries, but sha, it is a bad attitude to be insultive whether to ourselves or to foreigners. I pray those who are doing it have a change of heart. Amen.

What you should have said is that, may God never allow you to meet such a man that will not care about the welfare of his immediate family.

1. Sorry for what you're passing through, God will see you through, even though you yourself have some roles to play, for God to intervene.

The bitter truth: your husband is not a true man of God, but an ambitious man and a businessman, who believes that he has to put everything into his business for it to flourish, he believes you don't have right to complain, since you're enjoying the proceeds from the business, yes, his business, he's not passionate about lost souls, he's only passionate about the money and the fame his pastoral business is bringing to him.

Gboin gboin la nrofa aditi, ie, to admonish a deaf man, it has to be loudly and consistent, so if i were you(God forbid), i will do one or more of the following.............


- i will get a disk of mount zion film titled "busy but guilty" and make sure i wait for him to come around at his usuall time of arriving and tell him that God has a message for him in that film, i will ensure he watches it by pleading very well on my knees, if pleading does not work, will force it.

In case that does not work,
- i will get a new sim, fake my voice and call him to seek for counselling concerning this particular problem, and talk as if i'm one of his clients, and get all his counselling recorded, only to be played back to him whenever he comes back home.
If that does not play too..........
- i will go to his office personally to seek for counselling, at least, when the secretary sees me, he/she will recognise me, i will just tell him/her not to tell him that i'm among the clients outside, so, when it's my turn, i will just come in like others and narrate what i'm passing through to him, if he doesn't want me to talk after sighting me, i will quietly tell him not to embarass himself in the presence of his staff and clients.
If that does not work too, then this drastic measure will surely do..........

Any man that believes that his wifely duties are to prepare him meals, cleans the house, take care of him sex ually and otherwise and the babies, infact, do all household chore has turned his wife to a glorified housemaid.

Wifely duties are more emotional and spiritual than physical.

As much as there is nothing wrong with it, i think some form of modesty should also be applied. I dont concur/agree with the fact that the baby should be left to cry till they get to a secret place or their house before the baby is attended to, but the woman herself should realise that she's a nursing mother and that her baby can be hungry along the way and so should have prepared for it before leaving home. This can be done by either putting on a loose blouse that will not allow all her chest or bosom area to be exposed to the public or take along a cover, so that when the baby wants to suckle, he will cover the whole scenario with a cover and no one will either be offended or irritated.

never knew or heard of this when i was nursing my kids, what i was constantly told by grandmas is to keep giving it more and more for the baby to suckle and the sore will heal up by itself, and that was how it usually heal up.

Yes, especially when the kids are denied proper care and happiness that they should have enjoyed if both parent are still together. In most cases as such, it usually leads to resentment.

I just hope some parents will learn.
I believe that the best way to train these kids it to lead by example, behave the way you want them to behave, talk the way you want them to be talking, respect other people and naturally they will pick up the attitude of respect. Don't use vulgar language and they won't get used to it, even when it seems they want to pick up bad habit either from the media or socialization groups, always telling them the negative effect of such attitude will go a long way in correcting them.

Parenthood isn't an easy task, but with readiness to lead by example, prayer and consistency, we shall get there.

Talk about yourself, do you hate the other gender? If yes, then, that you are like that and some very few people you asked are like that does not mean everybody is like that.

As for me, i don't have hatred for anyone, regardless of the gender, but one fact that is certain is, respect begets respect, anyone who does not respect me can not earn my respect, if you want to be respected by everyone, whether male or female, respect everyone, be it male or famale, and no opposite gender will hate you.

As for those you asked question from, who claimed to get married, because of kids, i think or guess, both of them are yet to understand what marriage is really is.

1. God lives within us, if you continually think about such, you would preoccupy your mind with the thought and wouldn't give your mind the oppotunity of fruitful thinking, thereby chasing away God and good thought from within you, because, both sweet and bitter fruit can not come from a tree, its either good fruit(positive thinking) or bad fruit(negative thinking) that can come out from a source.

2. As a man thinks, so is he, says the bible, that is, your thought life reflects who you are, if you continually think about suicide, if not checked, you might eventually carry it out, because, that is what you have preoccupied your mind with continually. So, it is advisable that you free your mind of evil thinking pattern and embrace positive thinking pattern.
Remember the saying, if you can think it, you can act it.

Another thing that just crossed my mind is, if he's a muslim, find a way of getting his cleric(imam) to help you talk to him, and if he's a xtian, get his pastor to help you talk to him.
