@Jenny, no matter how wealthy a man is, he would still appreciate any GENUINE gift from d love of his life. Its not how expensive but how genuine d giving is, i mean d spirit and reason for d giving, so, think of something you think he really like and surprise him with it, he will definately appreciate it.

What works for A may not work for B, but if i were you, marriage first, does not neccessarily means you should start having children, then, get a car, for d convenience of d family, not really an expensive(luxury) car, but a necessity car, then your masters degree, which can be on part-time basis.

Well, since there is no guarantee that a stay-at-home parents makes a better child and a career-driven woman makes a worse child, then, each to his/her own. Let each of us do what s/he want and d good Lord will perfect and reward our efforts. As parents, we plant and God waters, so each should do what seems right to him/her.

@ dayokanu, im just laughing over and over these your nollywood scenes you presented here and unfortunately, it is YOU who will come here and be shouting that a woman who cannot financially assist her hubby is no better than a set of furniture or gadgets in d house......now, what are you saying?


My working doesnt mean i will not be responsible to my family, that is why i chose a flexible job, instead of sitting all day at home. Women are endowed to be multi-task.......im proud to say i balance everythings, its not that im a perfect person o, but im endowed with organisational skills in which no one affects d other........im a wife....to my hubby, a mother to my children, a child to my parent, a friend to my friends, an employee to my employer....and no one clashes with another.........that is a pride of womanhood.
For those who chose to be a full time housewife.....its not a bad idea, if d family jointly take d decision, and d hubby is not d type that will be complaining later about it, goodluck to you, but i still maintain that, a woman should be able to have at least a little personal income.
