God give them sense They are the best duo the entertainment industry has ever produced in Nigeria. Tell me of any duo better in case I forgot. Their stars are meant to lump up together and shine the brightest. Neither of them was as strong as their duo together. They produced the best of sound and evergreens. Busy body, etc still rocks after more than a decade. Shame on Mr. Jude...older brother that can't oversee his younger ones without taking sides unnecessarily. |

Aufbauh: It happened to me too, and it's very common in Abuja. It's so demoralizing and discouraging listening to people you've held in high esteem in the Christendom spilling hate, inciting congregants to be lawless and so on.
Any church that spilled hatred from the pulpit against anyone or tribe, incite people against constituted authority, lump unfounded conspiracy theory to arouse sentiment, count me out.
The conviction i have had as a Christian is that of love and not of hate, for God is love. So anything outside this is heretical to me. Any religious leaders stirring up hatred against leaders should not be followed. Agreed. However would you also subscribe to religious leaders being unable to call political leaders to orders or condemn what they do which is so wrong? I have never seen where justice comes to agree with injustice. It is like justifying Herod for killing John the Baptist because he condemned his acts, at the behest of Herodias. Speaking truth to power is sacred. Anyone who doesn't want accountability shouldn't come in the name of serving. |

You are oozing wisdom and sense. You said what someone who knows the system well would have said. No one can be clean entirely if government is ready to fight you. And you know what, it is reason why the wealthy keep philanthropy as a way of life, and the dangote of the country keep donating vehicles to police force and the likes. It is to throw government over their back sort off at least. This guy would have become or appeared a 'better guy' in their sight if he has allied himself with the government of the day doing any of those. It was a matter of little time to attract powers that be while you were lavishing wealth in the name of burial without really courting the corridor of power. |

Buliwyf: Dumb mugu. I finished my masters before I started working. Now go and google the minimum amount a masters holder usually gets then google what is obtainable in software engineering and then cry yourself to sleep. It's not my fault that your deprivation and lack is leading you to question reality. Even if English is not their national language does it mean they can't work with it? They even offer masters courses in English. Who do you think teaches it? Na foolishness mixed with hunger dey affect your brain cells so. No go drink glucose.
Next time smart people are talking better hide your face. I saw someone calling you zombie earlier on the thread and I thought it was just because of the usual political attacks until I saw how you argue blindy here. Na spiritual deliverance you need. Your case is hopeless. What a fool I didn't even see your replies to him until now. Some of the things you said here, I have equally said. Are there not graduate schools that offer their courses in English? Are there not international companies which have expatriates working in them? And so many things I have tried to explain to his ilks. But I guess, he who wants to remain ignorant does so at his own discretion and choice. Now I know why some people just choose not to argue on this platform. Some people's ignorance cries to the high heavens. |

thebosstrevor1: Why has it turn into a motivational speech....you claim someone got a job from Nigeria without speaking German, how is that possible when you need german language proficiency to get a visa. Also EU Citizens are given preferential treatments before non Eu citizens. You don't need German language proficiency to get German visa. Go and confirm. That EU citizens are given preferential treatments doesn't mean only Europeans can work in Europe. Just make inquiries, don't assume. I rest my case on this biko. |

thebosstrevor1:

You friend is scamming you.
Your friend got a job as a banker in Germany from Nigeria... that is the biggest lie ever.
Nigerian HR In Germany will refer you to what job exactly.
If you can't speak the German language, Oyo is your name. I am not supposed to reply but let me advise you that it is not good to hold on to a belief that can limit you. Because belief can limit someone. What you don't believe can never happen to you. I would have shared the person's LinkedIn page who got a job in Germany right when he was here as a banker. ..but no need. Like I said, work on your belief system. What you think is impossible, someone who knows better and believes will experience it while you who don't believe such will pass the opportunity over. When you guys are saying someone who can't speak German can't live or work in Germany, does that mean there are no international companies in Germany? Do you know at all what they call expatriates? Many Nigerian students are studying in Germany with English as the language of tutoring. What does that suggest? |

thebosstrevor1: You cant get rich in Germany....riches and wealth are Frank upon in Germany.
The tax system is a killer for businesses and for private individuals. Every damn thing is taxed
As a foreigner, if you can't speak German, just forget about getting employed there or be ready to work as a cheap laborer. Even foreign students hardly get good jobs after graduation. Germany is for germans alone....the Turkish people in Germany, have found ways to survive by owning small kebabs shops and restaurants.
Germany is the biggest and richest economy in Europe but i wont advice my enemy to go there, you are better off in a English speaking country. Tax in Germany is very high. True. Germany has the biggest economy in the whole of Europe. True also. Foreign students/nationals don't get good paying jobs in Germany? Very false. I personally know at least 5 Nigerians who are doing fine in Germany. A couple of them are close to me. One even got the job as a banker while in Nigeria, and he wasn't speaking German while here, neither was it a requirement. There are Nigerians already there who help their HR recruit from skilled Nigerians by referrals. Now, aside, Canada, UK, US, Australia, how many 1st world countries are English speaking countries? Does that mean that anyone not going to these few English speaking countries are not doing fine? Even UAE, you will be astonished to know how much you can earn as a professional...professional not odd job workers. And yet English is not even UAE official language. |

Gumi is a private individual that capitalizes on his influence to get audience with bandits, why can't the DSS, Military, Police etc that are saddled with securing the nation territorial integrity, at a huge defense allocation, does same to penetrate and neutralize as many bandits as possible You really think that DSS, military, etc don't know their work? They do, but I will implore that you watch the Channel TV session with Rtd Commodore Olakunle. He said it all. There is nothing playing out in Nigeria that's not deliberate. Security apparatus, DSS and co can't do anything without the supporting body language of the GCFR. Commander in Chief is their head, they can't run ahead of him. Okay, why are they more active fighting in the East and chasing after Igboho while bandits are having less attention? The Military, police force simply follow directives.. |
