I need explanation, are the CBN and bankers committee now doing the work of managing the bank which I thought were business establishments capable of making and enforcing their own decisions as they deem fit in order to remain in business.

Why then are the CBN interfering with the decision, if these banks experience distress because of the insistence the regulatory bodies, who will bear the consequences?

I got a call from one multinational company i interviewed with 6 days before the commencement of the lockdown to resume work on April 6. I was later told that resumption date would be communicated to me after the pandemic issue is over as the company is working from home.
I pray with the latest development of job loss & cut in salary across most sector of the economy not to affect my resumption in Jesus name.
I pray for the mercy of God in my life and that although I'm a sinner, God should grant me favour and not let my joy be converted to sorrow & disappointment.
I pray this day and with the prayers of saints and well wishers that the work God started in my life will be completed with great success and that I'll testify.
I pray that history will not repeat itself in my life in Jesus name

Skipjack corporation claimed to have offices in London, Singapore, Indonesia etc. Anyikwa Chinonso (Chinonso Victory Frank),a nairalander,who is the skipjack corporation's Africa Ambassador advertised it on this platform in the year 2018 as a new digital cuurency so that investors can invest in it. Some people invested on their website skipjackx.com which was later migrated to skipjackfcn.com, both which are no more available online and no communication with investors since 2018 concerning the developmental stage of the new encryptcurrency(SKIPJACK DIME). Please any useful information about skipjack corporation will be appreciated. It seems nairaland MODs are hiding any write up querying the existence of this company.I just hope this topic will not be hidden again from public view.Thanks.

Well I will start like this, I went out today just to take a look @ what kano city looks like during the imposed two weeks lockdown by the president, and I was actually making a video record to show proof to my friends how kano citizens care not at all about the so called lockdown during this pandemic. And as I made my first short clip.... I noticed bussiness individuals were out. As I was approaching zoo road I met some security personnel (man o war probably) allowing people to move freely, so I passed and I got to zoo road nd began to make a second video clip. In this video was how people are moving freely on the highway and I could see an unlucky tricycle driver who was beign interrogated by these security personnel which I wasn't sure this time around weather were policemen or not.
A man saw me and asked- "youngman are u making a video? "
I smiled the other man said "maybe he is a journalist"
Note..... (Both of them where not on uniform).
Before I knew it this man began calling this security personnel whom I was now sure were policemen. They seized my phone, arrested me (although not a hard core arrest) and took me to the station. On our way I was busy explaining that I'm just a curious citizen who came out, nd I'm not a journalist neither am I recording them.
The next thing he said was "did u see me receiving bribe from anyone? "

Hmmmm... Its a pity though... I'm pretty sure its not because they can't afford to pay in full but just want to take advantage of the situation... Lockdown yen yen yen ... Even those who ain't affected are ranting lockdown shenanigans!!! Banks are definitely top list of those this lock down won't tell on to some little or no extent at all! This is common knowledge. Politicians will always use crisis as an avenue to loot, under different guise and forms.

You will be surprised at the staggering amount they will claim was espended on this pandemic. Even the so called relief palliatives are not visible, but only audible to the ears.

Everyday, I'm accosted with people asking for help. I try in my capacity to render help. I was moved to tears when I saw a grown up man begging with 4 children on the road. God have mercy. Even NairaLand has turned to Beggarland of recent. With different monickers littering their account numbers all over the place, begging for alms from one thread to another. And yet, you wonder where all the donations trumpeted by the government have been used for. It's very disappointing, where we are as a nation.

And why can’t the Medical researchers, virologist and Other health professionals come together and enquire for that special gene, trait of biological concept of the body of those discharged patients and collect sample while the push effort to produce probably a temporary vaccine for the main time.
