Guys pouring sand on the fire spreading along the road side

The only problem is the delivery tank and the underground storage. The fire trucks have moved away from the scene because their fire fighting agent or liquid or water, whatever it's called that was flowing from the scene into the road and gutter has caught fire too. I don't know how possible. Guys are pouring sand on it as it moves along the road

News men on ground,if not for the internet how will they have known what was happening and where?

One mumu with free basic was asking why I was calling lala,we called fire service,the fire was so much. Thank God they are here now with 3 trucks

Yes,but the fire didn't affect any other building apart from the petrol station and Auto sales center. The other buildings were filled with dark black fumes that chased the residents out but no fire.

Still at the fire scene, everything seems to be coming back to normal. The third building is a residential building,thank God it didn't catch fire but lots of flames entered there.
This is why such businesses as petrol stations and Gas filling shops shouldn't be around residential buildings,but this is Nigeria.
No lives lost.

I was very far away initially yet I could feel the heat on my skin,fire is bad I swear. I have gone closer now because the fire service has put off the fire apart from the delivery tank itself which is defying all odds, probably because of its content.

The underground petrol storage is still on fire. This is the truck delivering fuel that started the fire

I am still there now. I was able to go close and take this picture because the fire service has extinguished the fire at the Auto sales center but the Petrol station is not yet extinguished fully

That station is very close to my former work place.

The fire service at Alausa isnt too far of, they will be there soon.

They are there now,but lots of damage has been done,even the next compound where Exotic cars are sold is not spared.
Before the fire escalated,the person on ground at the car dealers place couldn't do much,I heard the cars are locked and the person who could provide the keys isn't around,so they tried to push the cars by force,they succeeded in pushing just one into the road,but the heat from the petrol station was too much so they left the compound.
