Lol We may call the IMF evil, mean, inhumane etc but one thing I know they aren't is hypocritical. The IMF thought all times have never failed to give our leaders the same old wicked advice; remove subsidy, increase tax. The western countries that run the IMF don't follow that advice. Whenever there is a recession in Europe, the governments give unemployment benefits to their people, and council houses to their citizens who can't pay for accomodation. But to us, they advice us to withdraw such things, and in the midst of massive job losses, they always advice that we increase taxes. Quite strangely, our leaders never ever fail to follow that advice.

I thought I'm the only one that have noticed the pattern, these same institutions destroyed the Nigerian economy through the structural adjustment program (SAP) in the 90's and are doing the same thing now while our leaders fails to think.

Story for the gods, good economic policies implemented with honesty would solve our economic problems.

In summary, the IMF is asking Tinubu to increase government revenue by increasing existing taxes and introducing new ones? I'm asking because that's what I infer from their comment about Nigeria having a low revenue to debt ratio.

In all honesty, Tinubu never seemed much bordered about insecurity especially in the middle belt during his campaign unlike Peter Obi that regularly visited them and always promise to return them back to their homelands to continue their farmwork of feeding the country with affordable foods.

Rubbish talk if you ask me, the naira is losing value because the government is not willing to move the country from consumption to production and as long as that is the case,the naira would continue to depreciate.

Many parents are now fast losing the control of their homes and children esp daughters. Many of those girls who seem decent homely girls are getting just as bad as pro statutes in recognized brothels. They are prostitutes right under the nose of their parents under the same roof but yet they know to maneuver themselves and travel as far as hundreds of km to prostitute themselves to rich clients and still come back home b4 midnight- some book flights to facilitate their ill icit deals with men. These girls seem so decent and chaste but yet unknown to their parents are badly corrupt and spoilt. Not only that, these girls are more wild when on campus schooling- every evening and on weekends ,they get ferried out of campuses like some stray fishes

Dollarization of the economy is a sign that business owners have lost faith in the naira as a store of wealth, therefore, it's a symptom of a more serious disease rather than the cause, until the clueless APC leaders treats the underlying problems they caused from the day Tinubu took over and declared that subsidy is gone without a plan on how to mitigate it's effects, the naira would continue to loose value while more businesses would continue to demand for payments in USA dollars in order to safeguard the value of their money.

CBN is just plain clueless about how to tackle the decline in the value of naira. Those paid APC online agents quoting me up and down should rest, Nigerians aren't fools, it's clear that the government have run out of ideas on how best to solve the problems that they created.
