nuclearboy: Your GEJ gave him the bulletproof Jeep BECAUSE her is an ex-head of State and thus important enough. As a matter of fact, his pension is over 250 Million yearly. (By the way, even Obama's Armoured Jeeps do not cost 300 million Naira - stop lying)
He has ONLY one Wife. He married her after divorcing the first one who is now dead
He doesn't stay in 5 star hotels but as a guest with friends and associates when he comes to Abuja or anyplace else in the country. Anyway, his pension easily pays this if he wanted (yet he doesn't)
Any former "Head of State" will EASILY get such a loan - the tag and position alone is a guarantee! Plus his pension is paid into his bank account and all he has to do is ask they take out a fixed sum monthly for awhile.
Heated sentiments mean NOTHING - Facts are sacred So, you mean: Buhari lied then You mean: Buhari is mega-rich and can afford Naira 27 million no stress You mean: If Buhari cannot afford that amount then "something is wrong with him" |

You are being blindfolded by ethnicity, you said buhari construction road but in the north only, meaning anything done in the north is a waste of resources, wake up man if you carry on with this mentality we will remain captive to political elite. 1- he gave Enugu International Airport. Everything GEJ, his govt and PDP is corruption. All GEJ does everyday is to fight Governor Amaechi. A governor that has done so much for his people. What has GEJ done for Rivers state and Niger Delta where he comes from? Yet some people want us to still vote for him just because he is from Niger Delta. SS have never had it so good in Nigeria except under YarAdua and now Goodluck! Ask Amaechi what he is doing with the timely huge allocation from Federal Gov't every month Dashing money to celebrities, Prof Soyinka, journalists etc Doing bad projects Joining wrong party and sponsoring most of APC activities with Rivers state people money!!! How is this President Jonathan's wahala If you have a problem with your state governor Amaechi, be man enough to confront him. That's your right!!! |

Buhari had his brother President Shehu Shagari under presidential house arrest while he sent Vice President Alex Ekweme to kirikiri prison!!! Buhari's Map of Nigeria does not include the SW, SS, SE and even the Middle Belt. If I lie, prove me wrong by showing us the "Map of Buhari's Massive road construction under PTF" Only in the north! Buhari patronized "contractors" to execute PTF Hospital stocking and left the hospitals in worse state at the end of PTF due to lack of manpower development and negligence of "local content"!! The university strikes (ASUU) & Doctors' strikes today are as a result of PTF. Tell me how many Universities, Hospitals, refineries etc were refurbished and of world standards as a result of PTF Railways being looked after by President Jonathan Even schools in katsina Etc etc Don't make me go on and on, I beg you!!! |
Politics › Re: The Poverty Crisis In Haiti... by gtrust: 7:25am On Oct 19, 2014 |
casualobserver1: I fear you ooo. See you agreeing with a racist. Chai. If you really need to know, the poverty in Haiti is a result of American and French meddling in that country. When the Haitians declared independence the French mobilized warships and blockaded the nation until they agreed to paying the equivalent of billions of dollars to buy their freedom. In essence, the French forced the Haitians to buy themselves out of slavery.
Since then, the meddling has been non-stop. The US didn't want the slaves to follow the Haitian example so they made sure that the country did not go far. The US invaded the country on several different occasions, installed vicious dictators and when in the 90s the Haitians finally had a democratic election that brought in President Aristide, the US actually removed the man.
The last elections tat led to the election of President Martelly were influenced by the US. Martelly came third in the first round and should not have qualified for the runoff, but after the Americans and their friends threatened to cut off aid money the Electoral COmission finally caved and removed Marc Bazin from the ballot. Haiti is still suffering the effects of that decision today.
Seriously, don't think we Africans have a problem. We simply have too many enemies making sure we never rise up. Excellent stuff!!! Most Africans do not understand what Europe and America have done to that continent called Africa. They have so badly "ra.ped" it's people and it's resources and have continued to do so! I think we should rather commend the "black gene" for resisting so far and refusing to go into extinction The black gene will rise again and today is far better than yesteryears!!! |

. Good write up there! My observation: - the rich will increase school fees and make the cost of Education really expensive and way above the "poor"! - the poor will find students' loan criplling and theme it "a bad idea" and the rich will have their trust-fund! - the poor may find it easier to survive on minimum wages than burn the midnight candles of hard-work necessary to navigate out of poverty. - the rich kids will stay at home smoking ghanjaa while employing the "poor 1st class" class-mates as CEOs |

US Army trains you, Ofcourse you work for them at the terms set by US Army.
I stated this very clearly, I'm not in that system!
My topic was Psychologist and their possible per annum and I did my job stating the facts.
Those figures you're putting out there, outside of the US Army, ONLY Social Workers trained in CBT will touch that NOT a Psychologist.
Read: The Dangers of single story. She's a Nigerian author! |

InvertedHammer: \ You remind me of a popular adage, "when fact is not on your side, make some noise".
Granted I don't think you have ever seen a million dollars in your life.
Moving on...the thread is about Nigerian soldiers and how much they earn. One villager mentioned N100m, US Army and Psychologist in one ststement. You said his bogus claim is a fact. I refuted it.
Now we are here. It has nothing to do with whether you are in the military or not. You claimed that you are in the system. But from the bogus data you put out, I called out your BS. And you have continued to tap dance around the issue. And I keep pointing you in the right direction. 1. You did your calculations based on $/hr. US military pay does not work like that. I told u before. 2. There is a chart for military salaries based on level and years of services. A General will end up with about $250k/year. A Ph.D psychologist with many years of experience will be probably a Colonel(O- .
When you debate, stick to facts and stick to the topic. As inter alia stated, a Psychologists in US Army does not make even $150k/yr vs. $250k/yr that you and kobonaire erroneously stated.
/ Now you agree with me that all this while YOU NEVER READ MY POST!!! Wasted time then, right |
Career › Re: What Is The Average Salary Of A Nigerian Soldier? by gtrust: 9:43am On Oct 10, 2014 |
InvertedHammer: It is OK. I finally realized that common sense is not common after all. Roll with me let me educate you. My colleague is an anaesthesiologist. He has three jobs. Two of the jobs as a physician and the other as a guest speaker/lecturer that takes him around the globe. He makes $260k (1st job under Fed. employment under the military), around $200k from his second job and around $140k from the lectures. So annually as a physician, he makes $600k.
He makes $600k/yr. But that does not negate the fact that he makes around $260k under the military with about 15 years experience as a full-time staff. The bone of contention is not his gross income but the income from military. And by the way, that is as a physician.
Psychologists (Ph.D) under US military employment make "around" $120k/yr. I am yet to see any of them gross $150k/yr from US military (deployment or not).
Perhaps you are not aware that US military salary is by level and years in service and not based on $/hr. You are just too full of yourself to admit that you have no idea what you are talking about.
Quote me any day.
/ Now I understand your problem: US Army, US Army!!! Did you read my post ? I told you I'm not in the US Army & I've NEVER been. I honestly don't want to be!! Na by force again Bring down your ego and READ MY POST!! Give me that your Anaesthesiologist and I will put him/her in ONE theatre (don't need to travel) and paid him MINIMUM $1.8 million for putting that kind of time!!! kobonaire: bros, don't waste your time arguing with that foôl. In another thread he was making a medical claim .... "that people should drink plenty water before going to sleep to avoid sudden death in sleep". The guy must have taken a hammer to his head beating at some point of his life hence his name and the nonsense he spews. Meanwhile your claim the US Army Psych physicians make $250K is plausible as a high limit. I did a search and sure enough your claim appears valid to a degree:- http://everydaylife.globalpost.com/much-doctors-military-make-14129.html US Army physicians can earn $20K per month not even factoring other allowances.
Explaining this to that hammer guy is a waste of time ... leave the block-head to drink his 2 gallons of pure water every night before he sleeps Thank you so much!! Actually, someone said his relative made 100 million naira after being deployed for 3 straight years in Iraq as a psychologist. InvertedHammer said impossible!!! I stumbled on that & after checking, came with the conclusion that a Psychologist (not in the US Army) can make $250,000 per annum doing 7.5 hours + 1 in 7 + maximum 6 weeks holidays per annum. Na so this InvertedHammer start to de abuse me oh! Just like that. I asked the young man to apologize he escalated the abuse. Anyway, no wahala. I have made my contribution and any serious Psychologist Ofcourse will look at it and work on my post. As per InvertedHammer, no comment. |
