I am very hurt. My wedding was supposed to take place last Saturday but it was called off without any explanation.

I met my man through my mother’s friend based aboard three years ago. Fast forward to when the date was pick which is 25 of August that we started having issues.

It was his sisters that shopped for my wedding things which I complain that I don’t like the color ,they said the list I gave them was too expensive which is the hall and food ,I got a hall of #160 they got a hall of #300k near their house not even the bride side I never complain ,they said after the wedding I will stay with mother in law and sister which I said no
due to distance and the nature of my work.
The worst of all that happened is that my ex was telling his sisters every thing we discussed both the argument and my chat he was forwarding it to them. His sister in Nigeria was telling them all manners of lies against me and they believed her.

They put pressure and fear on him not to marry me he has to call off the wedding after buying things for the wedding. He is around in Nigeria now and I try to see him but his family are refusing me seeing him because I don’t have his Nigeria ‘s no.

I was told that he said he love me but he scared based on what they told him. That I am not a wife material. That I will control him and drive him out because he stays in US.

My mother has been begging them but they refuse to listen.
He even blocked me since then. His cousin told me they already found another girl for him.

According to the lady who disclosed that she is an orphan, her journey to getting expelled started after an examination leakage where some students were alleged to have bought questions from a driver.

Twitter user @yoitslegit who shared the story on behalf of the Federal University Lokoja student identified as Lydia Lawal, wrote;

My name is Lydia Lawal, I studied Economics at Federal University lokoja. After 4 years of blood and sweat my university handed me an expulsion letter unjustly. Please I want all well meaning Nigerians to help share my story till we get justice.

I gained admission to Federal University lokoja in 2013, as an orphan I had to work in Lagos during the long vacations to pay my school fees. And from my first semester to 400 level first semester I was on second class upper with a 4 point cgpa.

The issue that led to the expulsion of 13 students in my class started during my final exams when there was an alleged examination leakage where some students were said to have bought questions from a driver.

I happened to be the departmental president at the time of the crises and I was called by my head of department to answer some with less than a week's notice. The university management refused to release the result of the new exam, refused to convok my department with others and didn't mobilize us for NYSC.

I was shocked that after almost 9months the university management called 13 of us which includes the best student in my class with a cgpa of 4.9 to come and pick up an expulsion letter, and our names pasted all over the school as expelled students.

The Vice chancellor claims that as long as you were invited to the exam malpractice committee, then it's enough reason to believe one is involved.Please I am asking for an human right activist to take up our case. Please I cannot afford the services of a lawyer. Please don't let this injustice be swept under carpet , we believe they are playing politics with our lives

Though this write-up is one-sided, there are important questions begging for answers:
What are the actual allegations leveled up against you that were revealed to you at the Exam. Malpractice Committee?
Did they find any exhibit within you during the exam?
Was it one of the victims that confessed your name?
Was your crime because you scored a high CGPA or because you were the President of your department?
You did not tell us the actual role you played. No lawyer would initiate litigations on the school without arming himself with the facts.

Quickteller the latest fraud of the millennium!
I have been using Quickteller, but this year has been worse.
On the 5th of this month, while transferring 10k from my account FCMB to my other account UNITY via Quickteller I got a red banner message on my phone 'Bank Declined' unfortunately, few seconds later I was debited.
Because of the distance of the bank from my place I could not go immediately.
On the 7th of this month I made another transfer from FCMB to ECO #37,100 via Quickteller but a red banner also appeared that 'transaction was NOT successful please try another card' surprisingly, few seconds later I got a DEBIT ALERT. Remembering series of debits of UNSUCCESSFUL TRANSACTIONS that have not been reversed, I then went straight to the nearest FCMB branch to complain. They said because I used QUICKTELLER (and not fcmb apps) there would be no need to fill any form and that I should use one yellow landline phone on the wall where a lady answered and promised to look into it. Few days later I went to print my Statement of account in First Bank where I saw the unbelievable, the statement displays two accounts: my real accessible one and the other my inaccessible account which they named 'LIENS ACCOUNT' which had over #200,000 in it. Perhaps those unsuccessful transactions via quickteller are being kept in this save (lien). When I got home, first was to delete the quickteller apps on my phone.
