It is easy for everyone to say close the borders since the Italian case but in reality, it is not sustainable. You don't close the borders when u just had an index case. Also, no country closes her borders and deny her citizens coming home, especially when we still have less than 40 confirmed cases. What they should have done however is limit the flights coming in and compulsory quarantine for all returnees. Not 'advising' them to go into self-isolation. They should have forcefully quarantined them the moment they got in.

dude Nigeria can’t defeat coronavirus without a vaccine, quarantine would not work in this case. This virus spreads exponentially do you get? It could literally survive on any surface for hours.

Think about the north with the help of bill gates they just recently ended polio. And you know how long polio vaccine have been in existence

Hi folks, so there is this udacity course - Machine learning nanodegree.

it kinda pricey , cost about a thousand dollars and after the whole program you will need to solve a particular problem with the knowledge you gain , that the capstone project.

After of all that , you get a certificate with your name on it.

Udacity is founded by Sebastian - Once a top google engineer and stanford prof.

Now my question is , in a job market place is it the the real knowledge that matters cos some folks might learn ML through other medium, or the certificate might prove to be powerful alongside with my skill set?

You don’t need udacity certificate, like you already said the most important factor is how much study and practice you’ve done. Your side projects or open source contributions is all that matters.

I have the funds to start solar panel factory, the materials would be sourced locally but the cutting machines have to be imported. Again I can afford that.

This is a long term investment, overtime training Nigerians on development would be ideal. I also hope they go out and create competitions later in the future.

'Highly pathogenic' bird flu has broken out in two Chinese provinces near Hubei since the beginning of the month as Beijing struggles to contain the novel coronavirus currently ravaging the country.

Nearly 2,000 fowl were killed by the H5N6 strain of avian influenza on a poultry farm in Sichuan Province, Chinese agricultural authority announced yesterday.

Just eight days earlier, 4,500 chickens were reported to have died of the H5N1 virus in the province of Hunan.

Four outbreaks of H5N6 bird flu were also reported in western China's Xinjiang in January alone.


The Ministry on February 1 alerted an outbreak of H5N1 bird flu in Hunan Province, which borders Hubei.

The bug hit a chicken farm in the city of Shaoyang, which is about a six-hour drive from Wuhan.

The Ministry said 4,500 out of the 7,850 chickens on the farm were killed and local officials had to cull 17,828 birds in a bid to contain the disease.

The bird flu has been classified as highly pathogenic because of the number of birds that have died from the disease.

There are lots of different strains of the virus.


Both H5N1 and H5N6 are among the four strains that have caused concerns of a bird-to-human transmission, according to NHS.
Although the disease doesn't easily infect humans and is hard to spread from human to human, several people have caught it around the world and died.

The reports of the bird flu outbreaks come as China is straining all its resources in a bid to curb the fast-spreading novel coronavirus, which emerged in Wuhan late December and has killed at least 910 so far.
