Tax depends on your employer, does the company operate in Canada or just the US? Canada and US have tax treaty to avoid double taxation.

Secondly do you have to physically be in Detroit during work hours?
In other to maintain your PR status you must live in Canada for about 2 years in 5 years.

So even if you have to work in Michigan it would not affect your pr status because you still spend more time in Canada. Work hours are usually 8-10 hours daily

I remember when they removed a mechanical engineering student from his hall and put only him in our hall(chemical engineering). The guy became the only mechanical engineering students seating in the midst of chemical engineers and our hall was very very strict unlike theirs and the guy didn't study cos he hoped on doing malpractice. It’s naive to think that Nigerians are not the ones damaging the infrastructure.
Create that kind of sidewalk and watch how traders will dig up the ground to plant their umbrellas or kiosk, pee on trees, drop all manners of trash , sands.

Next thing you know, Okada and keke will turn the sidewalk to shortcut, and when it rains the sands and the trash combined together will turn it back to the eyesore it originally was, a reflection of your average Nigerian.

People go use their hand throw rubbish into canal , then blame government when the canal stop flowing.

This street is like the Oxford Street or Times Square of Lagos, with all kinds of fancy shops, restaurants, banks, companies, etc.

What makes all this possible in those places but not on ALLEN AVENUE?

Once you build Allen Avenue like this above, it will attract several thousands of pedestrians per day and TRANSFORM the volume of trade on that street by a minimum 600%, bringing greater tax revenue to the state govt.

The Lagos state govt should do this.
