FamilyRe: Would You Stand By Your Spouse, No Matter What? by Guidette(f): 2:32pm On Aug 29, 2014
Edusouls: look at women asking who would stand by their spouse no matter what, women are one naturally selfish creature, they dont even konw exactly what they want, they dump men here and there at the slightest trail, many men are down and devastated by women that dump them after going through a lot for them.men borrow money, borrow clothing, borrow even food just to see that it works out, uncountable cases of men going through the very hectic and difficult task of training a girl all the way from year 1 to final year in the university, at the end after bringing the rif raf from their very hell and wretched homes, she now open eye and becomes more intelligent than you and goes wild, before you know it she dumps you for another fellow rif raf man, women stupidly jump out of a relationship that has been painfully built and nurtured for years, that have a future and go to their doom, women are very senseless creatures any calculation they do is wrong, women instantly loose their respect ans love for their husband just because things are not so smooth as it was before, women are super greedy that they date their fathers and sleep with them painting her future black, she just want bb, or money, or i pad. nowadays how many women date one man, nooo tht one is for girls wey never open eye, a normal nigerian girl carelessly date anything datable, once money or goodies comes out of it, even if monkeys have money they will date, women are so dishonest that they even lie to themselves talkless of another person, women hate the truth, women are natural betrayers and they disappoint anyhow at the least expected time, their smelling life style can be seen everywhere by any person who is not blind..they tell you they want to marry a good man, when the LovePeddler have dated up to 9 different individuals plus 2 married men added with some abortions. and have had sex with all of them, during school years. women are lost creatures, they shouldn't even talk because thier case is hopeless and worsens by the day.......
Abeg change ur name quickly to Bittersouls. Nonsense!!!

delishpot: If woman see who fine pasd her husband nko? Going by that logic, will you understand with her too? Will you say ah its not easy o, she is seeing men who are hotter and hollier than her husband so she cant be blamed much o.
If we profess a faith, lets face it squarely lets not bring out the double standard leg when the man goes astray. If he was acusing his wife of adultery now, will people understand with her? Will they understand if she says he wasnt giving her enough hot styles? Will they understand that hot men were not wearing veils thereby making the women sin? Will they understand if she says he was too busy and did not have time for her, will they understand and pity her like some want to do with chris? Will they understand that she is human and can make the mistake of cheating on her husband?and thus she should not be judged?

Religion don tire me sef.

HealthRe: River State Investigating A Possible First Ebola Case in Port Harcourt by Guidette(f): 1:08pm On Aug 28, 2014
PapaBrowne: This story is suspicious. First it is only reported by online media houses, Saharareporters and Premiumtimes and secondly which foolish doctor would treat a patient in a hotel?? Naturally the Hotel authorities would have long reported the case, if the doctor was reluctant to. This story smacks of so much falsehood and it has no concrete sources

Somebody is not happy with the fact that Nigeria has effectively managed the syndrome. The same people who celebrate when bombs go off are the same people promoting this news. These same people are enemies of Nigeria and Sahara Reporters is usually thier tool of choice.
Did you notice how the bombings in the country stopped immediately Ebola came to Nigeria?
Then why don't u go down to PH and investigate yourself. Mtschewww
RomanceRe: How Important Is Money In A Relationship? by Guidette(f): 12:26pm On Aug 28, 2014
Whether we like it or not, money is very important in relationships especially marriage. The number one cause of divorce nowadays is money issues all over the world. It is not just the issue of being rich, but how to spend the money in the relationship wisely.
I don't need to marry a rich man to take care of me because in a few years time I will be super rich and won't need a man for his money. So that solves the problem of not having enough money to buy nice things and enjoy life. But imagine if I marry an insecure man who has an issue with my wealth and how I spend my money, then money will be a central issue in the marriage.
So marrying a man rich or poor is not just enough, but partners need to have the same values when it comes to wealth creation and spending.

obayaya: I understand one thing from your posts... You have issues with everything Nigerian. We all do.. We all wish the country is a lot better.

But my problem with your posts is that your criticisms are always unfair and tend to be destructive most times. embarassed
Nah. I'm not really anti Nigerian. I'm a realist. As a Nigerian, I have found out that we like to pretend like everything is fine and sweep all the negative aspects of life under the carpet. I am speaking my mind and I not mincing words for anyone.

This topic is really dear to me. I lost my grand mum because they did not have an o2 tank when she collapsed in a govt hospital. Everyone's first instinct will be to blame the doctors, but what will they do when they have no supplies? Our govt has really failed us. Idk where you live, but if it is in Nigeria, just take a drive down to lesser neighborhoods. Open your eyes and you will see people are suffering. Sigh.

HealthRe: Government Vows Not To Recall Sacked Doctors by Guidette(f): 11:05pm On Aug 17, 2014
erico2k2: You still did not get the whole gist, I have lived in the Uk for up to 18 years so I know what Im talking about, for you to get the bes in teh UK you need to go private, also we all have GPs, and we pay to see them indirectly if you read the post by sexywale up there, and you said it was free for you? how? cos subscription is only free for people on benefit.Let me ask you as a Doctor who would you like to work for, Govt or Private?.I also think it would be ideal for us to have same GP system where we go to our doctors whom will be private, let them charge us for consultancy and we go buy the medicines from the chemist now that's a challenge for the Docs in Nigeria and I know they wont like it.I believe since we seem to have many sick people in Nigeria so the Doctors would not be short of work.I recon this is a time of rethink, we should stop blaming the Govt 4 everything.
Yeah. And where did i say private hospitals aren't better? But does that mean that govt hospitals are not good enough for people to go to?
The crux of the matter is that whether govt or private abroad, they still meet the minimum standard of care as stated by WHO in the UK and us. Now back to Nigeria, our govt and private hospitals are nothing to write home about. And that is the issue. You don't even live in Nigeria and you are talking. I'm talking from experience. I have seen both sides and I can tell you that the reason our healthcare system is like this is because of the govt. who is going to provide budgets for the hospitals and maintain standard of care. It is the govt. Or do you expect doctors to take care of their patients, then use the salary they have o buy equipment to make sure their patients ge the best care? Culpability should be given when due. if you think that all those private hospitals you see in the UK are that way because of only funding, you are on a long thing. They are also regulated by the UK bodies to make sure the provide adequate healthcare. On the other hand in Nigeria, private hospitals range from below substandard to passable. No regulation bodies are in place, that's why a failed medical student can open a surgery behind his house and admit patients while security authorities are oblivious to the situation.
In the end, like every other sector in Nigeria, the health care system is in shambles as a result of neglect and corruption. I mean....... Surgeons operate using rechargeable lamps in Nigeria. If this does not attest to what I have been saying since, then I don't know what will.
HealthRe: Government Vows Not To Recall Sacked Doctors by Guidette(f): 9:12pm On Aug 17, 2014
erico2k2: Ok good, now that U schooled in teh UK and US, tell me the difference between the UK health service and US health service?Just so you know, the NHS is not truely free, nothing is free i n the UK, we pay what we call NI, National Insurance mine on average every month is £180 weather I go to the GP or not, so tell me how is it free? and also, if you go to your GP cos you are Ill and given a subscription, you go to the Chemist and buy the drugs plus you get to pay for the subscription,is this not correct?
Ok I agree that it is not free for UK citizens but it was free for me when I used it. But..... Nigerians d pay tax as well. What is being done with the money? Infact scratch out the tax thing. What is being done with the billions accrued every year from oil. Nothing. The UK does not even have a tenth of the resources we have but the difference is clear.
The US health care is more of a money driven system, which is not really ideal for people who cannot afford it, but it is still top notch. Most of the advances in medicine comes from the US as of now. The UK is more of a social welfare healthcare system. Both are not perfect and have their shortcomings, but the issue should not necessarily be about their disparities but what unites them. Which is a high standard of care.
We do not have that in govt or private owned hospitals in Nigeria which was the main concern of my first post reply. Don't support the govt's decision on this because they have fallen very short on the ball. If we had a good healthcare system in the first place where the doctors work under good conditions, have proper equipment, and are adequately compensated, there will not have been a need for this strike in the first place.
HealthRe: Government Vows Not To Recall Sacked Doctors by Guidette(f): 4:58pm On Aug 17, 2014
erico2k2: Good you are about to finish you Learning process, plz change that ideology, if you do a simple research into the western world how they go about their Health Sectors, you will quickly realize the best and specialist Hospitals are all Private,ie Own by private individuals or companies and not the Govt, the Govt Hospitals provide basic Health Care.
Looooolllll what are you saying. I've schooled in the Caribbean, UK and US. The govt hospitals are amazing. Healthcare is free in the UK and it is top notch. You wouldn't even get govt healthcare from the UK in private hospitals in Nigeria. So what are you talking about. The difference is so clear. Even in the small Caribbean island hospital I visited, I was beyond surprised. I saw a Nigerian doctor there who had been living there for over 20 years and she looked happy and that was a govt hospital.
Even if private hospitals are better, it is no excuse for the shambles our govt hospitals are in. Most govt hospitals abroad meet standards of care. Ours are not even fit for zoo animals. Smh.
HealthRe: Government Vows Not To Recall Sacked Doctors by Guidette(f): 12:49pm On Aug 17, 2014
I am a med student about to finish and by God who made me, I cannot see myself working in Nigeria. The health system is in shambles that is ill equipped and hardly regulated.
Doctors are not the cause of our problems. The govt that has neglected our healthcare of Nigerian citizens for decades has made the system so rotten beyond repair. If I was a doctor in Nigeria, I will demand over a million naira as salary because it is haaaarrrrrddddd to do your job without the proper equipment under unsanitary conditions. They are not greedy, but are demanding compensation for all the chaos around them.
The system begets who they are. Nobody wants to upgrade the health system because the corruption has eaten way too deep. Any challenge to the status quois met with resistance in the form of sack of the residents. Normal nations are supposed to spend I think about 25% of budget on healthcare as advices by WHO. I am very sure we don't even spend up to 10% and even then, not all of it gets to where it is needed.
Anyways sha, as usual the govt will see the error of their ways and reverse this nonsense. And I will be here sipping my tea. cool

passionate88: @bolded.... Women (even here on NL) insist on this "no sex untill after wedding" crap more than men
Lol. If a woman insists on it for religious reasons, i dont mind it. Thats between her and her god. But if she does it so that a man will say she is a 'good' girl, or respect her more, or marry her, or not cheat on her… then she is on a loooooonnnnggggggg tin because she is only cheating herself. Thats why i dont like girls who play the virgin card all the time. It irritates the hell out of me. When i was a virgin, only one guy knew and it was my best friend. Two of my exes didnt but im sure the suspected it though. And i also didnt want any guy to take advantage of me thinking i was a naive girl. So i kept it under wraps.

Before i was more concerned with what people thought of me than any other thing. Now i just do what i want to do and not give an f. Sexual compatibility is a big deal for me. A man can be everything i dream of, but if we are not sexually compatible, no marriage. I dont want to cheat on my partner or him cheat on me. Thats why this is very important to me.
