emmyskies: It is not a normal things to do. This is what the world has turn into. Where people don't see sin as sin anymore, but a normal thing. No thanks to the devil. Well, no fornicator nor adulterer will inherit the kingdom of GOD. There place is hell:I live for myself and the people I love. Nothing else. I have one life to live, so I'm going to make the best of it. |
TheBigUrban2: the name Guidette.....i was wondering if you were an italian gangsta babe. That's what it meansLol... Nah! I've just been watching too much Jersey Shore. ![]() |
TheBigUrban2: Well said!!Huh? Errrrmmmm..... Nope. Naija born and bred. Did you check my profile cos my picture is there. ![]() |
I think this post should lean towards atheism having a higher percentage of smart people compared to religions. Intelligence and religion are mutually exclusive. There is definitely no correlation between how smart you are with how religious you are. Intelligence is inborn and a factor of your environment. People born in a religious setting stagnate intelligence wise because religions do not want people to question scientifically but just believe in faith. Atheists are more likely to be more intelligent because they try to garner more knowledge and solve their problems rather than waiting for God to do so. My 2 cents. |
'All men cheat'. This is the line i have seen and heard countless times when issues of infidelity come up in real life and on the internet. I understand that Nigerians are hypocrites but the level has gone too deeply entrenched in people's minds that they do not know the truth from lies. I am not a religious person but from what i know, fornication and adultery are big sins in major religions across the world. One of the ten commandments to be precise. A sin that i think should be upheld more than something like say… homosexuality. So why is it that in a country like Nigeria, where religious issues draw blood, cheating is considered normal. Well, i mean for men only. Since we live in a backward society where women are 2nd class citizens, infidelity on her part is grounds for divorce. But not the other way round. A woman is supposed to pray for a cheating man to change.Well… I think that a cheating man should pray for himself. You came to this world alone and you are going to die alone. No one can save your soul. Repent! Well my question is for the men: How religious are you and what is your view on fornication and ADULTERY? |
He didn't hit him. Get your facts right and modify your post. |
melvin0004: are u in Nigeria at all.2nd Niger bridge project is on,airport hv taken a new shapes, roads construction ongoing in all part of d country. etc.with tym dis guy wud perform more.pls tell APC dat der can't win 2015 election with propaganda.Ok, I have heard. Where are the rest because right now there is no light in our house. |
obayaya: Please just hush it already..Are you kidding me? I'm in Naija now, and right now as I type there is no light, my dad was nearly killed in one of the bomb blasts that happened last week and my mum went for a burial last week in which the death was caused by doctor strike. So you are telling me that I am not realistic? Why would I want insurgency to continue when it affects me and my family directly? I will never wish bad on any person even GEJ. Thousands have died while nothing meaningful has been done to stop Boko haram. Jonathan just needs to go because if the problems have been going on for decades and he still can't solve it, then he has to move and let someone else do what needs to be done. I am not a sycophant, so I say things as I see them. |
They should test GEJ. Even his middle name stands for Ebola. Edit: Sorry! I just found out it is Ebele. |
obayaya: How do you know that?Be realistic for once and stop deceiving yourself. He has promised us way too much and has achieved nada. I am sure you dont have light right now plus you go an fetch water everday to bath (if you dont have borehole); you have to buy fuel from blackmarket for you car and genset; the road to your house is bad; you have security guard but still lock your house up for fear of armed robbers; food is expensive in market; you are unemployed or under employed(or still in school because of strike)… I could continue painting out various scenarios for you. If this is your life and you keep shouting GEJ till God knows when, then you are bigger than the biggest fool known to mankind. |
YoungDaNaval: The Best Presido in The entire Africa!!Ehn ehn… GEJ till YOU die. Mtscheewww |
Another empty promise. Where is the light he promised us? Where are: The roads? The security? The Chibok girls? The sponsors of bokoharam? The corrupt officials? The dividends of subsidy removal? The employment opportunities? The 2nd Niger bridge? The airports? The universities? The oil refineries? The agricultural and industrial development? The water supply? .…………… NO ACTION PRESIDENT is what GEJ is. A disappointment/embarrassment to the nation. In PEJ's voice: Chai! Diaris God oooo |
$59.50. I have a fun life. ![]() |
I could modify what i wrote, but i still stand by it. 99% of you will run at a chance to leave Nigeria to societies where things actually work, but forget that those societies where built by men and women. Hypocrites. |
@pickabeau1 Are you kidding me You wrote all this and yet you are living where? In Finland i suppose. Why? Isnt Nigeria good enough for you? Wow! But i thought you dont want the Finnish society replicated in Nigeria. I have a few points to make on this thread. 1. I just read snippets of your epistle abd from those i am going to make several conclusions. 2. Finland is an example of a 1st world country where women have contributed fully to the society. Nigeria on the other hand is the epitome of what i call 'hell's kitchen'. 3. Feminism that is practised fully in the world is where the most developed societies are. Tell me if i am wrong. 4. You said women on boards did not deserve to be there because they needed to meet a quota. Is that because you think men are just naturally smarter than men because there is no scientific basis behind that. 5. I as a feminist does not mind paying for my food or opening my doors. I dont need a man to survive. If that is what makes you men mad about feminists then you guys are the ones that need an attitude check not us. You ran away from naija at 20 yet you say naija society is better than where you currently live. And some fools will die on top this matter while you live in a place with 24hrs light, constant water supply, great security, impeccable road networks, free healthcare system, etc. If you dont know men and WOMEN built that system that you are living in. What have the menthat rule Nigeria done for our country? Mtschhheeewwwwwww!!! |
This is an unbelievably sad day for both of our families. Hamza was a classmate/family friend of mine. I hadnt seen him for years but I never thought I would never see him ever again. Innalillahi wa inallilahi raj'un. Allah ya ji kan shi. Amin. |
I dated this really hot and fine Caribbean guy in school about 4 years ago for 6 months. I asked him out first, to his surprise, and we went out on one of the best dates i had ever been on. He used to make me laugh a lot and i honestly cared about him. But after 2 months, i got bored. The relationship just flat lined. Calling and texting felt like a chore and i started to resent him a bit. When i travelled back to Nigeria for the summer, i didnt call or text him once. It was like he never existed and as far as i was concerned, i didnt have a bf. When i got back to school, i decided to rekindle things once more. After a week, i broke up with him. He was devastated, yes. But i couldnt see a future with him. Now he wants me back. After 4 years. How do i break it lightly to him that our relationship is dead and gone, forever? |
Billion24: Guidette. This was hard to read. Please amp up your grammatical skills. And also your hatefullness has shone through. My mum is a northern christian. Shey she should burn too? Just shut up!! |
Billion24: @ Guidette.I can tell whomever i want to shut up. It is their own perogative to do so or not. Lol. My family is from Zaria, i grew up in Kaduna, my parents went to ABU, we have a family house there, I have been to Zaria uncountable times, I was born and raised in a muslim household, i attented islamic schools and went for different walimas all over Kaduna so dont tell me i dont know their history or doctrines. I didnt see the need to type it all up because none of you would understand anyway. Non- muslims in Kaduna hate Shiite muslims. I know this for a fact. They instigate unprovoked attacks against them and always crash their peaceful rallies. Never have i heard in the history of rioting in kaduna that it was started by a Shiite muslim. Most of those bloody riots weve had were usually a Christian-Muslim thing. I am not a Shiite muslim but i know the facts. I am fully sure that you are Christian and being from Kaduna does not earn you the right to say you know anything about them. And I will quote you anytime i feel like. Sue me! |
pickabeau1: Chemical castrationYup. I totally agree. But that means a good number of Nigerian men especially in the north will become impotent. Hahaha!!! |
LMAO!! This man really cracks me up. There is no smoke without fire. People will not insult you if they think you are intelligent, competent and respectable. Simple as that. Does someone who says: "Most of what Nigerians call corruption is not corruption. It is mere stealing" - President Goodluck Jonathan (2014)sound intelligent? Does someone who says: “Nigerians, don’t panic. Terrorist attacks are everywhere … maybe it is our turn.” – GEJsound competent? Does someone who says: "If I don't contest, Nigerians will feel wan kine" - President Goodluck Jonathan to Christiana Amanpour on CNNsound respectable? |
Abeeeeegi!!! It is nothing new. What about those women that forcefully propose to men with belle? It is just that this one is open, the other one even worse pass. |
Please all these people that comment without facts, should just shut up. What do you know about the history of the Shiites in Zaria? They are non violent people whom i know to be peaceful protesters ever since ive known about them. They have been persecuted by the main non denominational muslims in Zaria for so long but have not retaliated in anyway even though El-Zazzaky has a huge following. How do I know this? My dad was his classmate and i remember when I was in my teens a mallam used to tell us about their doctrines and huge following. Do I agree with their principles? No! But nobody deserves unecessary attack because of their faith. Is that not what you all preach? The double standard is appalling. You all think Muslims are violent and deserve persecution all over the world yet when you are persecuted as a black person in a predominantly white society. Or as a Nigerian in South Africa or an ibo person in a hausa community or a christian in a muslim city, you will scream bloody murder. Sigh. RIP to the dead. |
PheezyLee: but wait, must everybody create a thread when diaris nothing beneficial 2pass across?? *mod, move to thrash biko!Nawa o. This is a genuine concern by people who live within and around OAU. Would you write all this nonsense if you lived close to the area? And please the spelling is 'trash'.… smh |
My closest friend's roommate used to sleep over with his girlfriend on the bed. The problem was that they shared a double decker bed and my friend was on the bottom while his roommate and gf were on top. It was a whole semester of crazy. They used to rock the bed so much sometimes that my roommate could not sleep; too much kissy noises; clothes and other belongings ended up either on my roommates head or on the floor; she fell off the bed once; their place was super messy… I used to make fun of him even though i felt bad for him until one day a flatmate of mine brought her bf home and had a whole night of marathon sex_ where she was screaming till daybreak. It was the worst experience i ever had and made me appreciate what my friend was going through. ![]() The icing on the cake was when the girl that used to stay over at my friend's told my group of friends that she was a virgin and i was like biiiiitttttttcccchhhhh… ![]() |
The rules are made by men. So why shouldnt it favour them? |
optimumprimus: The BBC should focus more on their cloudy shiithole island which is the same size as Hawaii. who gives a fvck what BBC with their inferior accent have to say about the greatest nation on earth. Thank God we have a military base there to keep those bad teeth iidiots in check .Haba! This early morning? Abeg delete this post, sleep and then repost when you wake up. |
The rate at which planes are crashing or getting missing is beyond me. In the space of 1 week 3 planes have crashed and over 450 lives have been wasted. Not only that, many tiny wars are being fought in the world like in Nigeria, Syria, Ukraine, the Palestine, etc. Either a bomb goes of here or a massacre goes on there, makes me feel like: The whole world is on fire. |
justplainpaul: . Wetin u dey speak, because u take photo with one poor battered lebanese na him make u dey form prof. see your eye like okpolo own.Lol |
@OP Its all down to personal preference. Dark or light skin shouldnt really be the focal point of a man dating a woman. So superficial. |
Blackteeth: Honestly why is our society so backward like this? Ladies buy condom and so what?? We really have a long way to go towards modernization.Ikr! Still cant believe this made FP. Bunch of sanctimonious freaks. ![]() |
Herrmes: Front page topic these days repel me, almost 6-10 topics about relationships, what's going on?'Conversate' is not a word. Rather converse is. Thank me later. |
