Family › Re: Am Looking For My Father by Guyman02: 12:41pm On Jul 11, 2016
-Do you know the hospital where you were born, go there and check their record.
-Search your late mums available belongings you could find a clue such as a picture of them together or a document with his name on it. Any picture would greatly help.
-Use social media like face book to search for people with the two surnames variants you got from your granny and aunt and see if any of them is from Bomadi when you add them.
-Attach here a picture of yourself and your mum when you were 7 years old the last time he stopped visiting, your father could be Nairalander or someone who knew him and your mum can stumble upon it here.
-Go back to Customs in the place they say he worked then and see the head of the unit whom you can plead with to allow you access to their records for any former officer named Pius and from there the places he was transfered to can be worked out.

Work on yourself and promise yourself you will no do what your father did by having out of wedlock children and babymama trash, it could be that your father stopped coming when he got married to another woman and didnt want the problem associated with having kids outside.

Haba, must you ladies read a negative meaning to every thing a man says? he could as well be referring to himself. Relationships get boring if the man is very predictable.

Politics › Re: Buhari And The "Hailing Hailers" - Majeed Dahiru by Guyman02:
I wrote this when GEJ visited PMB in early June and I think it still makes sense.

Guyman02:
We expect GEJ to brief the President on how he can transform himself into a father for all as many had anticipated during the elections.

It is frustration and hardship that can lead disgruntled citizens of the same faith with him in Kano and Niger States to kill a Christian woman and men respectively over claims of blasphemy in a manner that is even contrary to Islamic injunctions.

The nation is sinking and needs to be rescued by all citizens. Buhari made mistakes by segregating against citizens who did not vote for him and this was aptly reflected starting from his initial appointments into his kitchen cabinet; people like General Danbazau (Minister of Interior) who cannot hide his ethnic bigotry should be shown the way out of his govt.
He needs to reach out to leaders in the South East and South South who are getting more angered by the use of the military against their people and invasion of their communities which garners local support for militant groups like Niger Delta avengers who have effectively used media propaganda to sell their message and set themselves apart from other agitators who are seen majorly as Ijaw militants, the NDA have projected themselves as fighting for the interest of the SE and SS by destroying critical oil infrastructure while at the same time condemning killing of security personnel and kidnapping in the Niger Delta by other groups using the media. To tackle them you need local support which Nigeria is not getting at present and the revenue from oil continues to dwindle with attendant consequences of many states now unable to pay workers salaries.

The people of Benue, Taraba, Enugu, Ekiti who have lost loved ones to Fulani herdsmen assumed to be Buharis kinsmen needs empathy from the President and not silence.
Appointments into key govt agencies should be spread out evenly as there are still good people in every region of the country to dispel the fear of dominance by some groups in the country.

His utterances of goodwill to the citizens can help revive the economy like Obama did for America, when something bad happens in any part of the country he should reach out to people in those areas, we watch on CNN how Obama stops everything he is doing even if he is outside US to address the nation when there is a mass shooting or even accident, he comforts the bereaved families and tells them that the whole America mourns with them and feels their pain, somethings he cries along with them even if it is fake tears , thats leadership and reassuring for the people which Nigerians also expect from their leader; that way he can rebuild confidence of Nigerians and even his enemies will struggle to have something bad to say about him.
When he is abroad and somebody says Nigerians are corrupt he should not accept, but when he comes back he can tell us at home how corrupt we are and flog those who are corrupt using the law and not condemn his citizens in front of some white guys who are more corrupt than us.

Anyone who says he doesnt like Nigeria and wants to protest peacefully should be allowed, even many people in Texas says they hate America and want to have their own country are not shot at by security agencies, they go around collecting signatures for a referendum which they have not been able to achieve the required number for years because it is their right to freedom of expression.
In the UK there was a referendum by Scottish independence activist last year which failed.

The President needs to look into the confab report and see areas where he can borrow some ideas from that document, he must stop being rigid and know that it is more difficult to be a leader under a democratic dispensation than military where you rule with decrees.
He should not fall into the trap of GEJ by surrounding himself with sycophants who are there to tell him only the good part that is palatable to the ear.
GoodLuck Buhari!

I thought he said there wont be any office of the 'First Lady' and the duty of the wife of the President is to stay at home and take care of the family?
Who foots the cost of all these travelling around using Presidential jets at huge costs to Saudi Arabia and around the country, these same people condemned Diezani for hiring a jet to fly to Porthacourt from Abuja as Minister of Petroleum and they also said there were too many presidential jets in the garage and till date not even one has been disposed off as they continue to fly around with them like is shown here.
Culture › Re: Emir Sanusi Rides A Horse Home After Attending Eid El-fitr Prayers by Guyman02: 11:03am On Jul 07, 2016
The Fulani Emir of Yoruba Town Ilorin also does the same thing like Sanusi the Fulani Emir of Kano which is a Hausa city.
Thats why I pity those from the SW defending Buhari over his lopsided appointments because they dont know much about history and the descendants of Dan Fodio and their quest for dominance of Nigeria.

Why do the people of Middle Belt fight so hard and resisting the proposed grazing reserve despite the wanton killings in Plateau, Taraba, Kaduna etc its because they know the antecedents of the proponents.
Autos › Re: Samuel Ortom Unveils Ijodo Tractor (photos) by Guyman02:
Now those in the South East can sell Innoson buses to Benue State and buy Ijodo tractor from them in exchange for their farms.
Aba people can export their shoes to Benue and buy food items from them.
This is why there is a clamour for regionalism, OYEL has made the country leaders very lazy.

Buhari should know by now that Nigeria's unity is negotiable and he should stop the OLD and TIRED mantra of One Nigeria. How many times has Obama used the word 'One America' or Cameron say 'One Britain' or Egyptian leader Al Sisi saying 'One Egypt'. When things are done rightly nobody will want to secede, 85% of current appointments have gone to only one region and that is nepotism which is a form of corruption.

Ibe Kachikwu has been demoted as GMD of NNPC contrary to the opinion of many conning people who claim that the chairmanship of the NNPC board is a bigger appointment, its like making the school Principal the new PTA chairman and telling the students that he is still in charge of the school or a Vice Chancellor of a University being 'promoted' to a Chancellor (normally given to Traditionally rulers) as chairman of the university board.

It is a fact that if a credible referendum is conducted today like was done in Scotland majority of us in the South East will vote to stay in Nigeria but under a negotiated nation that will not hold us down from achieving and exploring our talents like the Scottish and Britain did.

There is an ongoing argument among Muslims on this forum just before this topic on What's The Proper Punishment For A Muslim Apostate? (any person who abandons Islam)
I observed that while Yoruba Muslims are saying that there is 'no compunction in religion', the Northern Muslims are quoting verses saying 'apostates should be killed'.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Job Application: 5 Clever steps to increase your Chances of a Feedback. by Guyman02:
Nigeria seems like the only place where you apply for an OIL company job, get called for an interview and you go there wearing your best suit that you have spent your last N500 to dry-clean. You spend many nights memorizing the questions you think they will ask you and how you will answer them, you imagine yourself as an employee of shell and what you can do with over a million Naira salary every month.

On the d-day, you get to the venue early and you are invited to meet the interviewers and the first thing you hear is 'this job we are offering you is more than OIL company, otio! huh you will become your own BOSS and money will work for you and not you working for money, they tell you that the richest man in the world Bill Gates said that the best job a man can do is NETWORK business and that is why GNLD is giving you this opportunity to become a distributor of our product, you will grow your up line and become a Diamond distributor and you have a chance of being rewarded with a BMW X7 with an apartment at Banana Island and holiday trip to Hawaii''

While they are still talking and telling you about the beauty of GNLD, Forever Living product, Alliance in motion etc, na so bell go dey ring for your head and you will be asking yourself, na who I go sell this products to, is it to my papa? but the man just called me to send money yesterday, is it to my next door neighbour, ah, the guy just come borrow me from me to bail his wife out from hospital.
How do I go home from this place, do I enter Keke or Okada which is cheaper, I never chop lunch and I am hungry, should I buy rice without meat for N100 if so will the balance be enough to take me home.
How did Oil company become GNLD or Forever Living Product? huh huh huh

That is called Mkponala, it is explosive firework device used during celebrations to herald the arrival of an important dignitary at an event or the corpse of a prominent Igbo person home for burial.
Perhaps they are planning to welcome Uche Ogah in a BIG way and the sitting government cannot take that as it will look like bestowing so much honour and giving credibility to Uche in line with Igbo culture.

ChangeIsCostant:
so u know more than the people who arrested them while typing from ur phone abi. na celebration materials be dis abi ? u are calling explosive materials bangers. acting IGP
You are not Igbo, so you will never understand. While I dont vouch for either Uche or Okezie; the facts must be layed bare on things like this; politics aside.
The reality is that Okezie supporters will not allow that banger to be exploded. When any Igbo person hears the sound, they know that something BIG is happening, just like if a real Yoruba man hears certain beating of the talking drum he stays quiet to listen as the Oba may have passed a message from the gods to be delivered by a messenger or towncrier cheesy
