The silent of our pastors to the suffering of our people almost killed my faith as christian. in fact, every time i hear them talk, there became this anger and sadness inside of me. Every time i visit Nigeria and see the level of suffering and poverty, to hear Nigerian pastors talked about prosperity and how God has blessed them, it turned my belly. It offends me. I could no longer stand it, before i knew, it turned to hate and my faith in God was almost at ground zero. As a Nigerian living in the state, i have family members in Nigeria, i try to do my best for them, this people are Christians and they believe every word that comes out of the mouth of their pastors. But these pastors live in abundance, why is it that 85% of the members are living in abject poverty? As a teacher, if 85% of your student fails your exam, you will be called in for questioning by the school authorities. my biggest pain was why don't you speak for these people? it totally destroyed me, my faith, belief. But seeing this gives me hope, maybe there were waiting for the right opportunity to speak. i salute your courage sir. If others can join you, we welcome it. the poverty in Nigeria and suffering is frightening. People will result to crime if there is no hope for tomorrow. Because our govt officials are so corrupt, including this president called buhari, he will dangle raw cash to those representatives and the rest will be history. In a normal situation, our local rep, senators, governors and house of rep members are supposed to be the ones negotiating on our behalf. But these so called representatives are the biggest problem we have in Nigeria. our demands are very simple, we want Nigeria to go back to its original blueprint on which this country was established. I understand the pain of the northern youth. The killings by Boko haram and fulani headsmen is too much in the north. I think is time the nothern youth ask their leaders questions, starting with President Buhari. Important questions, Like How long can we continue to hate our neighbors because of religion and tribe? How come we have a lot of beggars in the north, and even those in the south migrated from the north, why? How did this Boko Haram started? who is sponsoring them? How come these extremist have military connections? who is profiting from these killings? why can't the northern Nigeria be as progressive and free as the southern Nigeria?All of these Questions, the youth must ask those leaders. Northern leaders are wicked to their youths, put them in bondage. These youth don't even have a proper life, they live below animal standard and the northern elite love that fact, so they can use them for religious extremism. A poor man always want to fight for God. ie, They want to kill you because you pieces the quran or bible. But the rich have become exposed, they understand that only a fool will feel he wants to help God. You can never fight for God, never. But they forget that Martin Luther King Jr could also have used wisdom to run away from issues of racial inequality and freedom for all man kind, but put his life on the line for the things these our so called pastors run to America to enjoy today . Nigeria pastors, let me tell you now, somebody paid for the things you run abroad to go enjoy now. @ 25, Rev Martin Luther King Jr was a PhD holder already. he could have choose the good life and enjoy the rest of his days in affluence, but choose to fight for the good of everybody. But all our pastors do is to run away from truth , but they want to enjoy it after others have made sacrifice,so they can be called daddy and mummy. Show little dignity and concern for your people you claim to love, speak out. Lead match for constant electricity, lead match for our refinery to be working, lead match for Nigeria to have better security, lead match for good roads, lead match for better health care, good schools. People travel from every parts of Nigeria to these big Churches in Lagos, Abuja, Benin etc, a lot of them die on the road as a result of bad roads, bandit attack and so on . But these pastor don't say anything. They sit in the comfort of their churches and say God is using them to help people. God is telling u now, go out and speak against bad government, speak truth and stop running away. God is saying if u pastors continue to run away, very soon, all of of will pay the biggest price and nobody will come to your rescue. Speak out before it will reach your door step, the pain of the ordinary citizens will also reach your household and then when u cry, there will be nobody to answer because you watched from afar while they suffer.
