RomanceRe: What Life Lesson(s) Did You Learn From Your Previous Relationships? by Gwan2(m):
My last relationship was more of requited love relationship. I called it relationship because it was the last partnership that I had with a lady for over a year. She showed me love and was willing to be with me regardless of my situation. She encouraged me to attend church service and connected me to her elder sister to talk to me consigning spirituality and how it can turn around my life. Sincerely at that time the least on my mind was relationship and all what not. I was so downcast and dejected because of a useless contract job I was doing that pays peanut. I was just envisioning my life on the same job and scared to quit because of the uncertainties involved especially for an unemployed young man. I felt so emotionally and psychologically down that love was the least thing on my mind. I resigned the job and became jobless. I was more relieved than I thought I would.

Her sister encourage me to one certain church, although I never went immediately, I started going to the church after the sister moved out from the state I was residing. I encountered one witch that the devil sent my way in a club, I was so high that I took this lady home,,,my mouth no fit talk wetin happen...after the incidence, it down on me that I needed a very spiritual church for remedy. It was then i remembered the church my girlfriend sister advice me on. I was more connected to God and attended the church services regularly....After some months, my life took a new path and as they say the rest is history. My ex is married now with a Kid. I never intended marrying her, reasons I wasn't reciprocating her affections towards me.

Some relationships are pathways to our glory while some are pathways to our grave....know this and know peace
CrimeRe: Eniye Zuokemefa-Peter Arrested For The Murder Of Her Husband, Enebraye Zuokemefa by Gwan2(m): 7:04pm On Dec 07, 2020
Though she is an alleged husband killer until convicted of the act by a reputable court of law, what the holy book said remains sacrosanct, HELL HAS NO FURY LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED . Every man, old or young...even if you dont know any other biblical quote, verse or chapter..Pls carry the embolden sentence like your life depends on it. Infact your life most times will depend on it especially if you are married, knowing it and personalising it is a survival instinct.
CultureRe: Addressing The Menace Called African Time by Gwan2(m):
meobizy:
It’s very obvious why anyone will come for those events late; they are boring. If you come late for a movie na you do yourself. I recently learned white people don’t come extraordinarily early like the article cited as an example. White people normally arrive a minute to the event’s start. I assume their daily lives are boring hence any form of stimulation is readily accepted. Africans live interesting lives so catching our attention is no easy feat; we choose to come at whatever time we appoint for the event and not the event dictating our movement.
You are very very wrong. Lateness or lacklustre attitude to time is ingrained in most African body setup because most times, there are no adequate systems put in place to checkmate this anomaly efficiently and effectively with punitive measures meted out regardless of status. Time is everything. The difference between a richman and poorman, a prosperous and poor society, infact everything is time.

Do you know why developed country pay you per hour rate of work and developing or under-develop countries pay per month or sometimes per quater??..Paying you per hour enables me the employer to checkmate your activities within shorter durations efficiently and maximise every penny you received as paycheck...your work rate will be far far more efficient than if I monitor you output occasionally within a month of paycheck. That stimulates productivity, efficiency, enthusiasm and quality output. Everything here is time, infact immediately you land in any develop country, as far as you are using a digital watch, the time automatically adjust to that country's time, both hour, minutes and seconds. Everybody time reads same on their watches. So the idea of sir, my watch was showing 10minutes to 8 instead of pass 8 as is normally used in most Nigerian organisation to excuse lateness or ineptitude is eliminated

If you master time, you have unravel 80% of the mysteries of the world.......So the notion your posit about the white having a dull and boring life reason for their good time management is completely off. If you are a young man, I'd advise you to try and understand the mystery of time and the world will be at your feet.
PoliticsRe: Autogas, Modular Refinery: PMB Making Conquests Steadily, Surely by Gwan2(m):
Mr Femi Adesina, many people according to the write up see Nigeria from a position of a cup half empty instead of half full because the country has failed them repeatedly on so many occasions. The country like many other African countries was built on extractive institutions by the colonial Lords and handed over to us on that platter, the leaders we have had over time instead of dismantling these structures and make the country more pluralistic, took advantage of the extractive structure handed to them and further impoverish Nigeria worst than even the colonial masters.

Right from independence we as citizens have had doubt in Nigeria because of how our leaders have manage to steer the affairs of this blessed nation. The heat of our dissatisfaction, outrage and doubts in the entity called Nigeria is just felt more now because of the advent of social media and some mass communication outlets.

Buhari came with lofty promises without blueprints, probably thinking economics is just input and outputs without factoring other economic indices that are imperative for an efficient and blooming economy. He placed himself on a very high pedestal, at-least it swung lots of 'vote' in his favor. After such promises, I'm sure you can rate his performance 5 years from ascending the throne now, woeful. Even his most ardent supporter has lost trust in him. By all economic indices, human development index, unemployment index, security index etc Nigeria has fared below bar. Yes, there are some positive strides by the government like the modular refineries you mentioned and railways etc, does that reflect in the economy of the market woman selling tomatoes or vegetable. How sustainable is the development you are even mentioning. The same train that has been breaking down in the middle of thick buses while on transit from on state to another?

HealthRe: How Do I Gain Chubby Cheeks? by Gwan2(m): 5:46pm On Dec 05, 2020
Rest/sleep sufficiently and eat healthily. Above all, when the mind is at peace, the message is sent to every cell in the body and the cellular activities in response to this state of mind translate to radiant, energetic, fresh and healthier skin glow and perhaps chubbiness.
CelebritiesRe: Marlians, 30BG, Wizkid FC: Examining Celebrity Obsession And Toxic Followership by Gwan2(m):
Little heroes go down the drain day by day,
Future leaders, go down the drain day by day,
They are crying so loud, but the whole world is not listening
Only you the mothers of the world can safe the children...
There's a-lot of things to be legalised, but abortion is not in it

How can you have the face of an angel and let the devil inside of you take control
we are tired of hearing these little voices crying from far away saying

Mama why do you destroy me
Mama what have i done to you
I deserve to live like anybody else.

Compare the above lyrics to

Why dem come dey para para para para for me
Why everybody come they para para para para for me
Na why 30BG we go para para para dem go para for you

or

Joro joro joro joro joro jara joro (x3)
Your love na meni meni wana wana

Music is really really loosing its essence
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Resumes Petrol Import From China by Gwan2(m):
China...A model on how human population can be an asset.

Many people misconstrue the fact that China utilised her human resource for top notch feats and think Nigeria ought to be on the same frequency since it also has the population, although not as much as China. There is a big difference between educated population and non educated population. In terms of cost analysis, investors are more convince to invest in the former because the human cost of training the workforce to conform to the business model and societal ethic is way lesser than the latter.

The average educated Chinese wants to go back to China after acquiring knowledge or experience abroad because he feels more attached culturally and socially to China. The average educated Nigerian wants to leave the country to western world for greener pasture. Until this anomaly is rectified, Nigeria will continuously have an inept population and importation of basic things will continue to thrive.

TravelRe: Fatal Accident Along Kaduna Road, 5 People Dead! (Photos) by Gwan2(m):
I escaped a potential fatal crash when I was on my way to Abuja to collect an appointment letter that changed my life. It was a collision between a petrol tanker, a J5 carrying passengers from I think abuja to kaduna or kano and a pick up car, how the accident happened was a mystery. After the collision the tanker erupted into flames with thick smoke and fire spread across the road. We watch all the passengers in the J5 roast alive helplessly, there was literally nothing we could do than watch from a distance. While most travellers pulled over to continue their journey when the intensity of the smoke and fire across the road decreases, our driver and other drivers that were confident and could not wait sped off in the thick smoke until they passed the fire region....Unfortunately on speeding through the thick smoke, our car knocked off and stopped right in the middle of the inferno....mehn, the story long. Thank God for life.

R.I.P and quick recovery to those involved in this accident

Ayotemide:
Your opinion was clearly not missed in the Endsars agitation. There are no professional 'protesters', no professional protests, simply put: there is no syllabus on how to protest. So it is best to say you can begin your ideal protests as you deem convenient.

It's the audacity for me, coming to a thread where a worthless leader disputes how many were killed to give your opinion on 'what we should have done'. The damned audacity.
I never said my opinion will be missed at first, you have to read, understand then reply not the other way round. Yea, no professional protest but a protest should have a GOAL which when met should water down the protest. The question you ought to have asked yourself dear Miss/Mrs audacity is why the protest continued even after the disbandment of sars which was the main goal and even after agreeing to the 5/5 demand centred around sars and police reform by the protesters? The answer is simply because there was still fundamental issues that most protesters were harbouring even if it wasn’t protested against explicitly...

Anyway I think I won’t want to engage you further because you are rather being emotionally...The people killed was as a result of the protest, so my opinion on this topic is not completely out of place.
PoliticsRe: Lekki Shootings: Death Toll Not More Than Two – Governor Abiodun by Gwan2(m):
I never posted on any of my social media pages about the endsars protest, not because I wasn’t in sympathy with protesters but because of their myopic reason for the agitation. Yes, the protest started as endsars after several derogatory reports about the sars people. My displeasure was why keep a protest of such magnitude as just endsars, endpolice brutality with little or no publicity or protest against the major and fundamental problem...BAD GOVERNANCE, CORRUPTION, NEPOTISTIC AND MEDIOCRE APPOINTMENTS in government parastatals. which birth the unprofessionalism in sars. how could you narrow a movement of such magnitude to endsars. All over western media it was about Nigerians protesting against police brutality instead of bad and corrupt governance . Even the corrupt Nigerian politicians were supporting the endsars movement instead of being in hiding because of possible jungle justice on them by the youth. Trust me, it was an opportunity to make the government sit up and paint a bad picture of governance in Nigeria in its entirety to the world even if they know already, but we threw it away. Well, we may have another chance to right it and have a movement of such momentum but it will take a long time because the corrupt elites or cabals will not be this complacent to be beaten twice.

I wanted to type a long epistle on how getting the best brains from the myriads of graduates roaming the streets of Nigeria seeking for imaginary jobs and motivating them with good pay-cheque will have a multiplier effect in producing educated populace which will reflect on the society....but I don't have strength. Just coming from a long walk within the Caton of Zurich in Switzerland

CelebritiesRe: Davido Pushes Man Into A Swimming Pool During A Video Shoot (Video) by Gwan2(m):
Trust me, this guy constantly being on the spotlight pays off for him as far SHOW BUSINESS is concern. He knows that, reasons he continually dish out these contents on a regular. With the advent of social media, multinationals endorse brand ambassadors mostly based on social media followership even before personal traits.

But I must give it up to him, he really know his onions. Is very difficult to be highly controversial and still “force” people to dance to your songs...only Davido and Timaya have achieved that in Naija’s music industry. Although, Timaya has peddled down maybe due to maturity or being a family man. Yes, Burna boy is controversial but he plays with caution by cloaking his controversy with freedom fighting. Moreover he (Burna) started his controversy after he had blown, like two years ago. But the aforementioned two came into the music game with controversy.
