You are suffering from inferiority complex, 90% of Americans will not take this fake rushed vaccine. Keep licking oyinbo ass, you have no clue what the real agenda is about this so called pandemic.
Trust me replying people like you is a full days job because I will have to see things through your prism, try to understand and grade your IQ before I give a response that suit your personality...Luckily, I have little time to spare today.

From my post you quoted, you can see my premise was on the different perception of people regarding the covid 19 vaccine in different world and not if some percentage of a population will gladly take the vaccine while some will deliberately decline taking it. I also clearly stated the reasons why both world from my deductions are having scepticism on the vaccine...Bro please educate me on the real agenda of the vaccine different from what I typed earlier?. You just add up to the sample of my experiment.

You are really ignorant of the subject of discussion. Does flu vaccine stop people from contracting flu? grin grin That's why people are given the opportunity to opt out.

It is better to be silent and thought a f0ol than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
/
Bros, I think this might be my last rejoinder to your post consigning this topic of discourse, perhaps if you bring up a more intelligent banter or post as regard this topic, I might change my mind. I told you earlier, I thought you are more intelligent than your stance on a particular post regarding this topic. Maybe is not you..but I had observed someone with your kind of soubriquet make some intelligent contribution on this forum.

Now regarding your post above, I will educate you for free. You outplayed yourself in your effort to show how intelligent you are regarding the topic of discussion by extracting where I typed once you are vaccinated, you can't contract the disease again, but deliberately omitted where I typed depending on periodicity .Yes flu vaccine stops people from contracting flu but as usual with most viral diseases, the virus mutates or rapidly changes to other forms which will or might require another different vaccine to tackle that particular form it has mutated to. Due to this mutation, newer version of flu vaccine is manufactured periodically, like 2 years or thereabout to tackle the different forms of the virus prevalent at that time.

Like flu, Coronavirus is a generic name for viruses that had one time bedevilled the human race, these viruses had brought diseases such as SARS, MERS in time past. The lastest disease from this virus family is the COVID 19 , now this covid 19 is unique in some many ways to the previous forms of diseases caused by coronavirus. The virus rate of mutation is rapid, which is a nightmare to medical scientist and researchers coupled with lots of other factors. Now this vaccine as most vaccines will not probably stop other forms of corona-viral diseases that might surface in future, but it will stop anyone vaccinated from contracting COVID 19 which is one of the disease caused by corona virus. Now the logical way of engaging your brain is to ask, how effective is this covid 19 vaccine seeing the way it was rushed and the whole process short circuited, I think it is one of if not the fastest vaccine produce within a short duration.

Summarily, yes vaccines stop one from contracting the disease it was/is manufactured for but the virus might take other forms that will likely need another different vaccine or modified version of the vaccine.

The political structure of the entity Nigeria is unfortunately in the hands of the North, anything other than consensual rotation of presidency will be at the detriment of the south. Hashim is very correct, even with the rotation, for a southerner to emerge as the president there must be a bargain and consensus from both the south and North which is counter-productive.
..
I agreed with his assertion, restructuring and dissolution of power from the central to states is the way out.

You were only tested positive of malaria which is very common here.

It's true people were tagged covid-19 patients while they have other ailments.

Believe Nigeria government at your own peril.

I can never blame you for believing this SCAM, afterall lots of money were spent on media to make you believe this, it's PR and marketing that's working.

This is syndicate scheme from Nigeria government
Your writeup is not coherent, please go to my post again and read what I typed. I said we are tested for covid 19 every week where I work which is not in Nigeria...so I am trying to figure out how you came about what you typed that I was only tested positive of malaria...it doesn't add up.

Yes, according to your second statement, it is arguably true that a lot of government officials cashed out from the whole covid 19 brouhaha but that doesn't make the disease non existent.

You do statistical modeling as an engineer. Others do direct patients' care. Vaccine is not a cure not the least an mRNA- based vaccine. Many people are asymptomatic even with covid-19. If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Treat whoever is sick but don't go on mass campaign for vaccination using a hurriedly engineered vaccines. It is common sense and education doesn't confer common sense. As noted, your body; your risk. Goodluck! The least they should opt for is informed consent.
/
Vaccine have never been a cure for a disease or sickness, it is a preventive measure. Once you are vaccinated against a certain disease or epidemic, you can't contract such disease again..depending on the periodicity of the vaccination. So you are saying what is already known, atleast to me.

Yes many people are asymptomatic, but that doesn't mean such people cannot transmit the virus to another person that is probably symptomatic or vulnerable. According to you treat whoever is sick forgetting that Covid 19 does not have a certified cure atleast for now. There is mass publicity about the vaccine where I am but no one as far as I can confirm has been forced to take the shot. I think they will start the vaccination with the most vulnerable that are without the disease at present and probably continue until they reach a herd immunity. The only point I see eye to eye with your post is that it is hurriedly manufactured, short circuiting the whole process which I said earlier and that is my only reservation about the vaccine. I won't take the shot unless is made mandatory before going to work which I feel will be the case in future.

My friend sharrap.

There is no difference between how sceptical Nigerians are seeing it and how sceptical westerners are seeing it.

Even in the west, most of the sceptics blame Bill Gates and are highly suspicious of his depopulation agenda. Many there also equate the vaccine with the Mark of the beast etc etc, and regard it as an elite conspiracy to reduce world population and enslave humanity, etc etc.

It is not only in Nigeria that people are saying that!
If you had engaged and tasked the billions of neurons in your brain to read properly and understand what I typed, atleast it is very intelligible even to the most dullest human. I specifically said where I reside in one of the western countries. I also specifically highlighted Most, meaning not everyone. Trust me immediately you affirm to me or I can deduce that you are also of the opinion it is mark of the beast or a bill gate weapon to depopulate the world I will throw in the towel...I can't help you

Covid-19 poses no threat to Nigerians as people have been going on their normal business activities. But as always, people will fall for the mass hysteria created by the media and unscrupulous western politicians. Any healthy person in Nigeria who is idiotic enough to get the vaccines (or do I say play a guineapig) deserves whatever comes his or her way.

They thought people would be dropping like flies in Africa and it didn't happen. Now they want to introduce some vaccines for some virus that our bodies were able to defeat naturally.

/
Bro I use to see either your soubriquet or one similar to yours make intelligent contribution on this forum, I'm surprised you typed this. First of all, if I may ask you, who are the they? Also is easier to predict that any outbreak of global pandemic or epidemic will be felt more in Africa if we take natural constants out of our hypothesis. It is glaring because of our inadequate infrastructures, poor sanitation systems, low budget for basic amenities etc...the list is unending. Anything that goes the other way is just as a result of fate and natural factors which is the case with covid 19. I do modelling as an engineer, if you put all the variables bedevilling the African continent and the necessary human constant, you can easily say Africa will feel the most catastrophe of a major pandemic...maybe followed by Asia.
.
Secondly, according to you Covid 19 pose no threat to Nigerians...you may be very correct because I came from Nigeria after the ban on international travel was lifted. I had a covid test which came negative before departure. Since I came here, I have had the test every week in my place of work. Infact 95% of the workforce tested positive with some already recovery after a compulsory self isolation. I was tested positive just some weeks ago without any iota of symptom whatsoever. Infact after majority of the workforce were tested positive before mine I thought probably is because of the malaria and typhoid medication I had been taking while treating those diseases in Nigeria. I served my duration of isolation and resumed normal activities as advised by the health authority.

Now here is the catch, my immunity and several others might stand and defend me as the case with me and most of my colleagues, but we have the vulnerable people, some due to age, some due to terminal illnesses that can't survive such .Unfortunately, the disease is human to human transmissible, meaning you could be asymptomatic and pass it to a vulnerable person. I am also sceptical about the vaccine but on a ground that it was rushed and might have a repercussion now or in future.

.
HealthRe: Okonjo Iweala: Nigeria Might Get COVID-19 Vaccines From January 2021 by Gwan2(m):
You can quantify the intelligence quotient of a nation or population just with the advent of this Covid 19 vaccine. Where I currently reside in one of the western countries, most of the population especially the younger generation are sceptical of the vaccine and some say they won't take it if it is made voluntary...now MOST of the people I meet here say they are having doubt because the vaccine was rushed, they have the knowledge that from antecedence vaccines take longer duration of passing through series of stages before final approval and administration to masses. As a result of the shorter duration of approving this vaccine they doubt the efficacy of the vaccine and some say they will wait and see the repercussion on those that have taken it first before taking their shot.

Now here in my country Nigeria there are several scepticism and theories about the vaccine, one of the scepticism about the vaccine is that BILL GATE want to use the vaccine on people so that he can control the world population. Another theory is that ''They'', in many cases I have asked these conspiracy theorist who are the THEY but they kept it at they...so these theorist believe the vaccine is a tool for mass control and population control. Another theorist in my country Nigeria believe is the coming of Anti-christ and this vaccine together with 5g network is the first stage of the drama.

Now with these state of mind you can guess what year or century we will think and start manufacturing jet engines, space rockets, robots, 5G technology, twin technologies, jet fighters, aircraft carriers...the list goes on and on.

I’ve got a Namibian black friend that always lambast and defame Nigerians for their antecedence here...Most time I correct him and try to change his notion on that, of course I can’t do much.

Trust me, if same was coming from a white guy, the typical black mentality in most Africans will shout racism.

I have come to the realisation that when it comes to this sort of critical decision in ones life,,whether you are religious or not you have to humble yourself and seek divine providence for grace and direction or else, if you think you will walk by your discretion, it might be the beginning of the end.

I am seeking God's grace for a wife as well, I am not so religious but at this junction man...I can't afford to make blunder with one of the biggest decision that can either make or mar me.

I was working in Germany when I met a Zimbabwen man in his 50s whose father came to Germany as a missionary and got his citizenship. The man married a white German woman and have kids with her. He told me how he is sending money back home to build schools and other investments without the woman knowing..he intend leaving her and go back home to start afresh if he finish his investments,,,Is that the life I want to live at that agehuh

I met another Nigerian man while schooling in England, he was looking dejected and lack any form of enthusiasm, after initiating a chat with him, he told me how he was divorced to his wife and she is in custody of the children in London...so he had to book a meeting within some certain period and time before getting access to the kids. I think that situation made him more spiritual because I met him in a church program my friend invited me. There are good examples as well, but you've got to juxtapose and make an informed decision

Losing all I have worked for this yearz devastating! And the day I left where I served, I had to alight in Ondo state because I do not like night journey, well, the person who was going to take me to my host was in church and I needed to pee, no light outside the church but people were there, decided to go to a corner out of sight, as I was walking and speaking to my brother on the phone, something told me to stop walking, I did and put on my phone's torch, lo and behold, I was just about a step into falling into the deepest pit I've ever seen and that pit would have claimed my life. I would have died and left the one person who's been through a lot with me, the one person that means a lot to me, my brother and I can bet he most likely would have ended things himself. I was shocked and truly, there only is a thin line between life and death, that pit was my thin line, the next step would have had me long dead and the numerous sicknesses I experienced this year sha, I kept having malaria/typhoid rebound.
Typical of me whenever I’m in Nigeria. Immediately I step out, I regain my well being and health fully. I always take malaria or typhoid medication atleast once a month when I’m in Nigeria. Reason why the life span of an average Nigerian is pegged at 54, the body continually fight disease at regular intervals thereby constantly engaging the immune system and depreciating its capacity until it is finally weakened and the person is left at the mercies of fate and time.

Try to always eat food and take supplements that boost immune system
