Foreign Affairs / Re: Putin Flies A Heavy Supersonic Nuclear Bomber Amid NATO Tensions (Video, Pics) by Habeyy(m): 6:00pm On Feb 24
mach7:
Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is not the vicious monster or dictator that the West always paints him to be.

But then, because of the geopolitical conflict between Russia and the West, and the fact that Nigeria is more or less under the ambit of the West, we are conditioned to more or less "hate" him. This is due to the heavy influence over our media, economy and political space.

There are a lot of trolls on NL, who are Western sponsored, to be more specific, State Department sponsored. They will come on comments on any issue about Russia or Putin and begin to spew lies and falsehood. Just watch them come out in 1, 2, 3....and go

Watianoengineer:
For those blaming APC and president Tinubu for the hardship in the country, are you all aware that UK and Japan are currently in economic recession? Is it APC and Tinubu that is ruling both nations? Nobody should blame APC and Tinubu for the rot the PDP government of Jonathan caused. What we are suffering today is the result of the Jonathan government's recklessness. Peter Obi and his PDP gang brought Nigeria to her knees. May God help our dear president Tinubu to fix the country like he did in Lagos.

What was the contribution of your stupid question to the thread when everyone knows the answer? grin

The car you used to drive past the embassy how much was it 3 years ago compared to now? grin

The fuel you bought how much did it cost in December? grin

The reason people queue up to leave is because Nigeria has too many daft people like you wasting oxygen by asking silly questions that a toddler can understand.

Is it that people can't read or just so dumb

They fell in the hands of scammers period

I hear you, but it should be noted that Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has been in power since 1986 - 37 years. Paul Kagame has been in power since 2000 - 23 years.

I hope that says enough to you about the real nature of these men.
Sit-tight dictators, they are life presidents - and that is the height of corruption and abuse of power.

You are behind keyboard typing rubbish, maybe should go around Universities in Nigeria and see projects that FG got commited to as result of ASUU's strike. 200billion Naira revitalization fund was released to universities for infrastructure as a result of ASUU. The fund has helped public universities to renovate dilapidated structures, build new structures, buy new equipment etc
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/151258-ASUU-strike-presidency-provides-evidence-n200-billion-cbn-deposit.html
Maybe you should read what ASUU is fighting for before you think they are selfish like your politicians who stolen billion without considering the masses.

I shake my head in disbelief when I see things "educated folks" write and their level of reasoning

Many don't know Tetfund is a product of ASUU strike
They just open mouth say things they don't know
They reason more with heart rather than head
Still they will argue against logic

Romance / Re: Can You Marry Someone That Can't Read Or Write But Gives You Peace Of Mind? by Habeyy(m): 11:16am On Oct 20, 2022
What do I have to say
Sometimes ,I just feel for the sacrifice of our parents
The things they had forgo to marry each other's
Education..better livelihood ,jobs etc
If some folks here knows the sacrifice the father or mother made to marry each other and the opportunities lost by our parents due to bringing up a family, raising them up.. training them to become someone in life
No one will rush to comment on this
With what m seeing in Vogue now
I will make it a point of sitting my children down and telling them of the sacrifice ,time lost tht can't be recovered back for remaining steadfast and responsible for their lives

Too many young adults are damaged mentally ..emotionally to be something meaningful when they grow up
What a life
